Harvey finds out that Donna may have broken the law to help Mike get a document in the whistleblower case, but he may not be able to save her. Meanwhile, Jessica tries to figure out her next step in her relationship with Jeff. Sean Cahill comes to Harvey asking for one more chance to take a shot at Charles Forstman, and Donna is left with a tough decision after Louis' secretary Norma dies.

When Mike takes a humanitarian case with the potential to jeopardize firm business, Harvey must decide how much to rein in his associate.

Harvey and Louis travel to see a client to whom they have deep ties; and Harvey takes advantage of the time to force Louis and Mike to confront their trust issues. In other events, in a flashback, the root of Harvey and Louis's competitive relationship is explained; and Mike learns the limits of his intelligence when it comes to the law.

Harvey takes on Professor Gerard as a client in a bribery investigation and discovers that he may have committed an ethics violation, and Louis makes a catastrophic mistake with his first client as name partner.

Gabriel Macht directs the Season 4 mid-season premiere, which finds Louis gaining leverage in his quest to become a name partner of the firm; and the Pearson Specter team dealing with the fallout of Louis learning Mike's secret.

After Louis resigns from Pearson Specter, Harvey, Mike and Donna try to help him get back on his feet, but Jessica's refusal to budge on his contract could hurt all of them in the long run.

The SEC investigation comes to a head as Sean Cahill begins a round of depositions. No one at Pearson Specter is safe as the inquisition unearths secrets both professional and personal.

The firm is under attack when Sean Cahill stops at nothing to get the documents on the Gillis takeover, including the one Louis and Katrina tried to bury. Rachel tries to repair things with Mike.

Mike's problems are compounded when Rachel reveals her secret, Harvey looks for a way to get Mike back on his feet, and Jessica gives Louis a chance to choose a reward after his big win.

Mike suddenly has leverage, and Harvey and Logan are ready to make a deal, until Louis finds a way to turn the tables on everyone. Meanwhile, Rachel's actions could add insult to injury for Mike.

Louis helps Donna prepare for a role, Harvey and Mike agree to a cease fire, and Mike learns the depths of his business partner's ruthlessness

Having lost his partner on the inside, Mike moves to a hostile takeover of Gillis Industries. On the other side, Harvey and Louis pull out all the stops to make sure they win this takeover fight, and things take a personal turn. Meanwhile, Jessica and Malone come face-to-face with Sean Cahill, the attack dog with the weight of the SEC behind him, bent on bringing Pearson Specter down.

Round 1 is over and round 2 begins. Harvey pulls no punches when it comes to revealing Mike's previous drug deals and Gillis feels conflicted on where he stands with Mike. Meanwhile, Jeff and Jessica question their relationship, Louis thinks Jeff is in love with him, and more is revealed about Rachel and Logan's past.

Changes continue to affect Pearson Specter: Mike and Harvey continue to butt heads over the Walter Gillis case. Logan Sanders and Rachel reunite for the first time since the affair. And Louis develops a love/hate relationship with Jeff Malone, during which we find out what he eats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...

Mike's taken a job at an investment banking firm and has officially left Pearson Specter. With tensions running high between him and Harvey, the whole firm starts to feel the ripples of it.
