After a long, unintentional hiatus, Sturgis Podmore is back with an episode we made weeks ago! Maybe thats why were treating the Patronus quiz like the newest of news... We talk about the new Pottermore feature and decide what Patronuses some random characters might cast, but not before playing a round of He Who Must Be Named. This week on TBNL, we reflect on the fact that many a panicked 7th Year is beginning their final school year at Hogwarts and contemplating what they could possibly do after graduation. We do some career counseling for some people who probably need it - although were not sure any of them are actually graduating at the end of this year... Before the Job Fair, we play the podcast favorite: Sturgis Podmores Dueling Club.

Its the beginning of September, which means tiny new witches and wizards are boarding the Hogwarts Express at Kings Cross and heading off to school. But the years have gotten away from us and our beloved trolley lady is heading towards retirement... But only one can replace her. Will it be Allison or Justin? They settle it the only way they know how: Chopped: Trolley Edition.

This week, we found a NEW Wikia - the Harry Potter Fanon Wikia. So we decided to play a game of Two Canons and a Fanon and made each other puzzle out the difference between bizarrely obscure people and things in the real Harry Potter universe and bizarrely obscure people and things that fans have created. Before that, we play another round of our newer game, Accio Backpack.

Its the start of year 2 for Sturgis Podmore and we are wild like a Cursed Child! Justin and Allison discuss some of the fan reactions to the Cursed Child script book then come up with some sequels of their own.

On this special and extra long 50th episode of Sturgis Podmore, Allison and Justin are joined by their favorite co-host Anand to celebrate the thing that drives the entire podcast - the Harry Potter Wikia! Each of them present their Top 5 Wikia articles and discuss everything from unidentified students to wands to the man himself, Sturgis Podmore! This week, The Cursed Child has begun in previews! ...But we still dont know anything about it. So instead of talking about the big, big news, were playing a bit of Where Are They Now with some of our favorite characters and giving some speculation on what their situations might be in this crazy play. And by chance, Dueling Club allows us to introduce a founding pillar of Sturgis Podmore: Leaky Soup House.

Summer is here so Justin and Allison visit the Harry Potter Wizarding World theme park... on the Harry Potter wikia. Join us as we make our way down Diagon Alley in Orlando and see how things have changed since Harry was around.

Allison and Justin reminisce about that time Hagrid had a gun and when Harry was in a Fast and Furious movie as they quiz each other on first and last lines throughout the franchise.

As Justin and countless other students around the world finish up their final exams, we take the W.O.M.B.A.T - the Wizards Ordinary Magic and Basic Aptitude Test. It definitely tests our skills in magic as well as our personal ability to live amongst wizards at all. Note: Justin and Allison are now in the same place - London! So their recording setup had some snafus this week, as you can hear fifteen minutes in when Allisons mic began to fail. Please bear with us while we figure it out for the coming weeks. This week, we bring back Sturgis Podmores Potions Club and whip up a potion you might wish you had before your final exams. Then, we play a modified 20 Questions with a quite interesting pool of people - minor actors playing bit parts in the Harry Potter films. And we learn quite a lot about them, too!

Ever wondered what Harry and Ron got up to through that lost year after the war when they decided not to finish their schooling? Turns out they went traveling through Europe with the Ford Anglia and trunks full of hard drugs. This became very apparent when we take a leaf out of our mother podcasts book and do some fantastic Harry Potter mad libs.
