Podcast Update - Wrapping Up Season 2!

Still processing through the changes COVID-19 has brought about in our home and schedules, my wife and I discuss the good & bad, beautiful & ugly of it all.

My wife and I jumped on for another review of our week during the Covid-19 stay at home orders. We're making improvements, but still learning. Our kids are loving the backyard. 

Once our kids fell asleep we snuck in to record a late night edition of the Street Light Podcast. Given all the changes the Coronavirus has brought about, we wanted to share what adjusting has looked like for us. We have three kids (4yr, 2yr, and 8 months) and my wife runs a solid schedule with them while I'm at work. Now that I'm working from home, that schedule ain't the same! We're learning, listening, loving. Like many of you, we're doing our best to adjust to the new norm and make the most of it. 

What does peace look like in the midst of chaos? Where does it come from, and how to we get it? The effects of COVID-19 have left many in a state of confusion and fear, including myself. On this episode I explain my wrestle with this, and how I'm fighting to maintain a heart and mind of peace amid this difficult and challenging time. “The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words. I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.”Lamentations 3:19-26 NLT
