Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 114 • Stuff We Can't Remember
Welcome to Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode 114. This week’s show is sponsored by Nomi’s Louisiana Kitchen. When you want something blackened, it’s the place to goo snackin’. Episode 114 welcomes back Tokokai to the show. We talk about where he’s been the last few months, his affinity for World of Warships, and the amount of alts he has invested in running through the artifact weapon quest. And let me tell you he loves the artifact weapon quest so much he is running it on around 30 alts. As for me, I played Hearthstone, did some World of Warcraft related stuff and we will leave it vague and questionable like that. Turning to the new, we talk about Tom Chilton’s departure from the World of Warcraft team, the Overwatch Halloween event, WoW being up to 10.1 million subscribers, official adult World of Warcraft Coloring book has been released, and the early banning because of the felslate exploit. In the Lament of the Week, I talk about Nomi burning food and the professions conundrum this expansion as well as a lowrider parking in multiple parking spaces. The new go off on tangents about movies.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 113 • Sausage Tiaras and DDoS Attacks
This is episode 113 of Stormchasers of Azeroth, proudly sponsored by Bartibar’s Brewfest Sausage Extravaganza located just to the back of the Wolpertinger’s Area near the Brewfest celebration area. This week in game, I talk about endeavoring to get professions to 800, a little about upgrading my artifact weapon, and my long journey back to zero in Hearthstone. In the news, I talk about holiday toys, the Metzen Retirement News, Bugs and Fixes, Watcher’s post about Class Balance, the in game items revealed for Blizzcon, the Hearthstone Welcome Bundle, the new pets in wrath raids for the Raiding with Leashes achievement, the battle.net rebrand, and finally the DDoS attacks on Blizzard. In my Lament of the Week, I talk a bit about the DDoS attacks as well as the spoiler nazis who just need to calm down, or leave the arenas in which spoilers are delivered if they are that upset about them, and conversely, people who want to tell you everything they discover in the game. Then I round out the show with contact information.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 112 • Legion Ho!
This is Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode 112 • Legion Ho!. This week in game I talk about leveling in Legion, giving a few anecdotes, and talking about the trial of having too many quests in my quest log. There is also a Hearthstone PSA at the beginning of the episode. Moving on, In game this week it was all about the Legion Opening, the end of the Karazhan Hearthstone solo adventure, and the new companion app coming out for legion. Not much going on beyond that (have on blinders for Heroes of the Storm and Diablo news). Finally in my Lament of the Week, I talk about the “Hey you stole my mob” guy and that it is a rarity to see this guy still alive in Legion when for the most part everything can be tagged and bagged by everyone.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 111 • Hegemony
It’s Stormchasers of Azeroth 111 • Hegemony , Sponsored by the Pillars of Creation and by Roll the Bones™ the new service that will adorn skeletons and other undead in toilet tissue, by Stealth Inc™ causing mischief since Vanilla. This week on Stormchasers starts with a parody song based on “Ebony and Ivory” by Paul McCartney/Stevie Wonder. I also then talk about a couple of movies I’ve seen today, move onto what I did in game this week specifically with Hearthstone and World of Warcraft. I pushed hard this week to get my Demon Hunter 700 level gear, also learned Outlaw rogue better, and in Hearthstone enjoyed the Amaz Barnes Priest deck. In Blizzard News, mentioned “Last Bastion” Overwatch short video, also talked about the whole Artifact Power/ Knowledge thing that is heating up on the forums that Watcher chimed in concerning, and finally hit on the Riot Games lawsuit against League# for putting out bot and cheat software that costs anywhere from 5 to 50 dollars a month to cheat in League of Legends. Also did a new segment this week entitled Rogue Corner and rounded out the show with my Lament of the Week about “Do it like this” guys who give you unsolicited advice while they watch you play hearthstone, or boil an egg, or try to cross the street in low traffic.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 110 • The "Tell Me Who I Am" Guy
This is Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode 110, The “Tell Me Who I Am” Guy. This week on Stormchasers I talk a little bit about the invasion changes made on Tuesday, the new quests added to the Dala over Kara, and a trip to Ulduar. I also dip a little bit into Hearthstone but nothing really worth mentioning. In Blizzard News, I talk about again the invasion changes, the questing in Dalaran, the revamped Kara coming soon to Legion as well as the Tavern Brawl of the week: Nefarian. So the news was pretty brisk and easy to run through. In My Lament of the week I tackled the “tell me who I am guy” who seems to raise his head and ask me who he is when he asks questions like “which tank class should I play, Paladin or Warrior? Finally I remark about a Nefarian tavern brawl where my teammate against Nefarian actually did nothing to kill Nefarian and instead destroyed one of my high damage dealing minions. Finally rounded out the show with contact information as well as a small review of Suicide Squad. Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 109 • Invasions and Karazhan
Welcome to Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode 109. This episode runs a little short and sweet, but managed to touchdown rather nicely. Don’t miss the parody song at the end! Shout out to Dave you gave me the idea so I could run with it, though it is a few weeks late. This week I talk about my Hearthstone woes, playing the Legion invasion event, visiting Dalaran over Karazhan. as well as my quick take on the Covert Ops missions in Starcraft. I then go off on a couple tangents about Hearthstone, specifically talking about the Warrior C’thun deck since it is fresh in my memory. Onto news, I briefly mention all the pre-lLegion goodies Blizzard has released, such as the audio dramatizations as well as the animation shorts leading up to the big release date on the 30th. I also skim over the Night in Karazhan adventure pack for Hearthstone, as well as some of the spoilers for the pre invasion event. Finally in my Lament of the week I go off on a short jag about people who will name their Demon Hunters something they think is clever, but actually will be derivative. PSA: don’t name your Demon Hunter anything with Demon, Hunter. Illidan, Horn-anything, or anything about blindfolds.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 108 • The Bot is Gone!
After a month and a half hiatus decided to post a podcast going through the resolution of the Bot Ordeal. So be warned, there is more bot talk, I also go through other games I have been playing besides WoW, such as Hearthstone, and Minecraft. Moving onto news I talk over a number of stories: How Overwatch is handling cheating, the new Silence policy they are implementing in the Legion pre-patch, The new Overwatch heroes and comic as well as the coming graphic novel in 2017. Also talked about the Recruit a Friend Hearthstone hero, some of the pre-patch woes as well as other myriad topics over the past month. Finally in my Lament of the Week, I talk about how I stumbled into a Mac vs. PC debate that initially started as a complaint about how the new expansion will not support someone’s now Legacy computer. I also say the word “so” way too much which becomes abundantly clear early and often. By the way, a great Peter Gabriel album.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 106
This is Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode 106. This week’s episode is sponsored by Overwear™ the official underwear of Overwatch. This week has me flying solo again, and this week in game it’s been all about World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Overwatch. I talk a little about Overwatch and Hearthstone in my opening remarks but also go on to talk about how I bought out the inventory of the bot I have been fighting with since before Christmas. The big stories this week are: Overwatch officially is released, new comic of TorBjourn, I talk about the new policy on cheating for Overwatch, briefly talk about the Clueless Gamer overwatch video featuring Conan O’Brien playing along with Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey. we talk about the Overwatch video series from Carbot, also the Loot Boxes for cash money is another news item, and finally the Heel Vs. Babyface video from 2014 which discusses how to have the biggest hooha in the World of Warcraft LFR. In my Lament of the Week, I talk about the inconsistent ways Blizzard delivers digital goods in game, and then go off on a jag about an expresshole, or a woman who was technically behind me in the express lane, and finally I talk about another woman who at the movie theater decided it was a good idea to start texting when the movie finally started. Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 105 • A Little Time to Respec
Welcome to Episode 105 of Stormchasers of Azeroth. Give some Time to Respec. This week hails back Teukad to the show for more fun from the Land Down Under. This week’s episode is preempted by “A Little Time to Respec” sung to the tune of “A Little Respect” by Erasure. In game this week Teukad talks about withdrawing to his addiction to Stallaris, a steam game that has the same addictive qualities to it that Masters of Orion has, he also talks about jumping back into raiding for one raid boss, his paragon 200 Diablo 3 seasonal toon, and different Hearthstone decks (more on that later). As for me I give a shout out to Wrecktified and Jamal for allowing me to come along and get my moose mount, I also played some Hearthstone, and spent another week dancing with the bot in the Auction House. In Blizzard News, we talk about the new Overwatch Dragons Video, we also talk about the Warcraft movie promotions going on, and then we get into the news this week about changes in respeculation. (respeccing) your toon, and this segues nicely into a tangent about bacon. Finally, there is some Heroes of the Storms news about a new patch that added Chromie (not Crimey) In my informal Laments of the week, I mention again, how I differ from Teukad that there are in fact stupid questions asked, as well as Lazy Questions and that the best thing a player can do when seeking information is to try and get it for themselves before asking to be spoon fed it. Also I go on a jag about how often people misuse the word “epic” like they have no idea what the difference between an epic fail is vs. say a regular almost everyday minor fail. Teukad in his “Teuk on this” segment does a valiant job of giving some tips to beginners in Hearthstone. He talks about how to gain free packs of cards, and what do do after. Wrapping up the show Teukad talks about going to see the Angry Birds movies at an iMax theater, also attending a lan party for legion (so he can experience server log with a bunch of real life friends). Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 104 • Bots and Balloons
This is Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode 104, sponsored by C’thunware™. First of all, this week, I fly solo again. I tend to get a little more serious and reflective during these episodes so bear with me. Hope this episode isn’t to much of a buzz harsher. This week in game I talk about my continuing relationship with the Auction House, also the C’thun Fatigue deck in Hearthstone, as well as some Overwatch Beta time and outside in another game mopping things up and finishing them off in Far Cry 4. Moving on to the news, the stories are: new Winston Overwatch Video/Hearthstone Reaches 50 Million Players/Broken Isles Pathfinder…the road to flying in Legion/Heroes of the Storm ranking and season starting June 14th/First look at the Refurbished park in Stormwind/Warcraft movie trailer done in World of Warcraft/ All of this news deals with some interesting tangential information. Finally in my Lament of the Week, I talk about reporting bots, and some of my dealings with Blizzard Customer service which although not horrible, go hot and cold depending on which GM I end up talking to in the end. Thing is, I think I maybe making some progress with these bots, and realizing that reporting them sadly is 90% of the battle.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 103 • Wookies Mating
Welcome to Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode 103. Remember where I said the episodes might be shorter…well this one is anything but short. This week I bring in Brock/Teukad as a special guest for the podcast and for the first thirty minutes, we talk about what we did in game that week and go on all sorts of interesting tangents. Vertigo might be a side effect of this podcast. Once we hit the news, we talk about the gold Cap being raised to 10 million gold, Whispers of the Old Gods dropping, the new Illidan book by William King which sends us off on a nice lore tangent, then the Warcraft Pax east panel. Speaking of videos, we talked about the first of the three part series about Overwatch called “The Fall of Titan.” After that, we touch on Blizzard’s response to the fallout after they closed down a private Vanilla server. Moving onto the Lament of the Week, I talk about dying so easily to the ice mage deck in Hearthstone, and Teukad does a “Teuk on this” where he gives tips and tricks out for beginning Heroes of the Storm players. Finally we round out the episode with some talk about random things like Game of Thrones as well as some anime Teukad recommends and I do a spot on impression of Captain Avatar from Starblazers fame. You can find Teukad on twitter at firstname.lastname@example.org or find his youtube channel @harzlek. Finally if you just want to find him on Facebook go to Brock Puckeridge@facebook You can also email me at email@example.com or our new gmail at firstname.lastname@example.org. Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 102 • A New Beginning
This is Stormchasers of Azeroth Episode 102: The New Beginning This episode opens with me hosting the show and flying solo. I give my thoughts on where the show might be heading. I talk about the Widow video dealign with Tracer in Overwatch News, I also talk about the ranking system in Hearthstone, The Mythic Plus Dungeons, Blizzcon Tickets going on sale, and the release of Legion coming out 8/30/16. I then talk a little but not a lot about the show philosophy and how it could have led to confusion and thus a lack of feedback. Finally, I take a “call” at the very end of the show that will probably also confuse people. I’ll try anything once, so if you have a microphone and a Skype account, feel free to write into the show and to be a guest.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 100
Welcome to episode 100 of Stormchasers of Azeroth, or my condolences. This week, as per Ted’s assertion last episode, we are just winging it this time, because, you know, it’s better that way. This week our show welcomes returning guest Avrile and her keyboard (just warning you, not all audio could be scrubbed of it) In pre show ted discusses his embarrassment at having his “singing” included on our previous episode, but doesn’t apologize on inflicting it upon us to begin with. In the news, we talk about our reactions to the short animated cartoon “Recall” which digs into Winston’s backstory in Overwatch. We also talk about the Syfy Face-Off episode that was Warcraft themed, Ted also brings up something about the new oversized fishing bobbers in World of Warcraft, and then we mentioned a little about the new hero in Hearthstone you get by leveling a Warcraft toon to 20. Moving onto my Lament of the Week, I talked about the drunk Guy who gets in voice chat in GTA, but this could also easily apply to other games as well, and then spoiler alert, we talk about Batman vs. Superman. The good part is that I removed Ted’s comment that was a huge spoiler for the movie so at least you will saved from that. Again, many apologies for this episode.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 99
Welcome to episode number 99 of Stormchasers of Azeroth, our 100th episode, you try to figure it out. This week in game Chrissy played some Diablo but mostly spent her time in Star Wars The Old Republic helpin’ Ted get up to level 18. I’ve been playing Star Wars as well, just not the Old Republic, but Battlefront, and Ted has been in Star Wars a lot this week as well, as well as upgrading to Windows 10 and playing a little Diablo 3. In Blizzard News, There’s a new map coming to Heroes of the Storm, A new voice chat option is in the early stages and will spread out over all Blizzard games, Marksmanship Hunters get their pets back, and the Warcraft movie has a couple of new teaser trailers and post out. In my Lament of the Week, I talk about “some” car mechanics but in an up front beginning of the show kind of way. Finally we end the show talking a little movies, the new Daredevil season, and what we like and don’t like about the many comic book television properties there are out there on the airwaves nowadays.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 98
Welcome to Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode 98, the one where we talk Overwatch, The Whispers of the Old God’s Hearthstone expansion, and 10 Cloverfield Lane. This week in Game, Chrissy talks about SWTOR and getting Ted to join her in the game, I talk about my Overwatch experience and my AH experience and the possibility of opening a different type of ticket to Blizzard, and Ted talks about the recruit a friend SWTOR thing and his problems with it. Moving into the news, we talk about the new Hearthstone expansion coming out, Whispers of the Old Gods, and how this will open up two different play modes, one being wild and the other being standard (which will be used for the more sports side of things). We also talk in more depth about my Overwatch experience, and finally end with the news that Zarhym is leaving Blizzard. Finally we end the show with Ted giving us his review of 10 Cloverfield Lane, and then I talk my Lament of the Week dealing with the pains associated with loading Windows on my mac computer. AS usual, it devolves into the kind of chaos you have become accustomed to on this podcast.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 97
Welcome to Stormchasers of Azeroth episode 97, as in I can’t believe we are 97 episodes in people, you had be at 50. This week we battle through burns, allergies, colds, and a number of other maladies to bring you a podcast that is substandard at best. This week in game Chrissy talks about SWTOR and the continuing lore surrounding the MMO), I talk auction house in WoW and my continuing battle with competitors, and the battle of the five names, not to be confused wit the battle of the 5 armies, because make no mistake this person is one person using either five different accounts or names. During this part of the podcast there is also the painful part where Ted discusses the Star Wars history and lore. And then we delve into the March Kanai event which honors a Blizzard Employee Kevin Kanai Griffith’s contribution to the different games. most notably Diablo 3. In Blizzard News of the Week, we talk about the announcement that we will are able to get a second artifact weapon early on the leveling process for a second spec for those players who want/need a second artifact weapon. We also talked about the new features coming to Overwatch in the wake of the new youtube dev video delivered by Jeff Kaplan regarding the matchmaking system, and the question concerning banning certain Overwatch heroes and maps from ranked play. Third, we talk about Blizzard’s decision to remove the epic pet battle stones from Legion In my Lament of the Week, I talk about the Perpetually offended people, and also how I might be becoming the very person I am talking about and then the podcast devolved into the usual banter of silliness.
92 minutes | Mar 2, 2016
Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 96
This week on Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode 96, we are going to be delving a little bit into the Overwatch Beta, as did is in it, but not necessarily to win it. But first Ted was in Diablo in game, while Chrissy also did some Diablo as well as slowly but surely doing shipyard missions in her garrison. This week I discussed my continuing saga in the Love Rocket quest and still…no love rocket. I believe the odds are 1 in 3300 that you can get one, so it’s no big shock. In News, Ted got into the Overwatch Beta and we talk about that for awhile. In other Blizzard News, we deal with the flip flop of the Water Strider about Blizzard not allowing it in one of the latest alpha builds, only to decide to let it work in previous content where it was introduced, and then just deciding the complete use of it again in game both current and previous content. We also talk a little about Paragon calling it quits for raiding. In my Lament of the Week, I talk about the Meltdown Guy who in and out of the game reacts way out of proportion to the situation. This goes into a discussion of different situations I encountered and the way I handled them. A little PSA here: The rules apply to everyone, you are not the exception. And then of course at the end of the show it devolves into a kettle full of silliness.

Stormchasers of Azeroth: Episode 95
Welcome to Stormchasers of Azeroth, episode number 95. This week it’s all about the Love Rocket as I go through my first week of love rocket runs with no joy in getting a love rocket. Ted and Chrissy in game this week talk about their dueling paragon levels, and I talk about the brief return of the Auction House Bot, the pursuit of the love rocket, and finally continuing my dealings with the toxic GTA5 community. News this week is sparse, there is a new book coming out called Warcraft Chronicles Pt1 which will be a history of Warcraft up to a point, as well as information that epic pet battle stones will be available in Legion. After that things get painful; as Ted reads wiki pages. So yeah. Ted reads random facts about World of Warcraft that the uninitiated to the game need to know. Finally, in my Lament of the Week, I talk about the Return of the Auction House Bot and this diverges into talking about games and things I would like to see in a MMORPG in the future.
