Well I'm back!  From (what I consider) a much deserved summer break.  And boy, do I have a lot in store for y'all.  This is an episode that you definitely don't want to miss.  Be sure to listen in for all the cool new things coming up. I've become a prolific bag maker, an English paper piecing addict, and.... an appliqué artist. Yup.  applique.  I have to admit, whenever I used to think of appliqué, images of sunbonnet sue and little houses with chimneys always came to mind.  For those of you familiar with my quilting aesthetic, you know that is for sure not up my alley.  SO I started to explore.  And I found a project I fell in love with.  SO much so, that I've even started down the path of certification to teach this specific technique for a major national brand.  More on that later this fall. But now that I'm in love with all (or at least most) things appliqué. I thought I'd go over the basics of appliqué and some the tools you may find helpful.
