How to add a LED Strip to Your Sewing Machine
How to add a LED Strip to Your Sewing Machine – Add extra bright light to your sewing machine with this LED hack. #LED #LEDHack #SewingHack #LEDStrip How to add a LED Strip to Your Sewing Machine It Added an extra light, a very bright light at that. LED lights are often brighter. You can add one of these LED Strips, instead of replacing the built-in light with a LED Bulb. If you want multi-color, you can use the ones like on TV, but I wouldn’t recommend that I would recommend a plain white light color. That way the multi-color doesn’t affect the look of your project I am going to show you in a video, how to put this LED Strip on my sewing machine. It might vary based on your sewing machine. I would check to make sure that adhering a LED Light won’t void your warranty either. My Sewing Machine is a Brother Tough and Strong, Model Number, ST371HD. I call him Brother Stitch. Unpack and peel off the back to expose the adhesive. (more…)

How to Sew A Handmade Pocket Tissue Holder
How to Sew A Handmade Pocket Tissue Holder – I show you how I make my pocket tissue holders so you can also make them too. (How to Make A Handmade Pocket Tissue Holder) How to Sew A Handmade Pocket Tissue Holder This DIY project should take less than 10 minutes, usually I can get one done in 5 to 6 minutes. I did make them one way, but I didn’t like that way that much. So I found another way and liked how they turned out. So I am going to share it with you all. A pocket tissue holder simply is what it says, it holds the pocket size tissue packets. I believe this is simple and easy to make. It is also a great way to get rid of your small fabric remnants. Yes! You should be saving ALL of your fabric remnants that you can! If not for this, but for quilting and patching. Anyways … Back to the how to … What you will need You will need your design fabric, matching lining fabric, matching thread, pins (optional) and a fabric marking pencil. I used cotton fabric. Your design fabric needs to be cut 6 inches by 6 inches. Your lining fabric, which can be a solid color, needs to be 6 inches x 8 inches. You can use pins to keep the fabric together. I didn’t in this case. I just sewed the pieces. Step One You align one side and sew down that side. Approx. 1/4″ scant. Means not quite, but almost 1/4″. Note the design fabric must be face down on the solid fabric. Continue to Step Two –> Step 1 | Step 2 | Step 3 | Step 4 | Step 5Step 6 | Step 7 | Step 8 | Step 9 | Step 10Watch the Video pocket tissue holder how to continues
