Newport Police Chief Brent Wilmot is here.  Before we talk about his big news, we talk music and concerts.  But then we jump into the Chief's big choice, he applied for, and got, the Claremont Police Chief position.  Brent is from Claremont; we talk about how he is going home and working in his hometown, how great the Newport Community has been to him, looking forward to serving his hometown, what's next for Newport and more.

Jeana Newbern from the Lake Sunapee VNA and Hospice is here with guest Leane Matchem from the Heart & Vascular Center at Dartmouth Health.  Tuesday, June 28th from 9a-2p at the Newport Senior Center, there will be a Wellness Event.  They will be providing free blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol screenings.  This is a finger stick only and results are done in less than 10 minutes.  We talk about the different types of cholesterol, are there warning signs to look out for, how great it is to be back in the public doing events like this, and more.

Joe Osgood is here.  We talk about the Model A Ford he has been working on, the dangers of a crank engine, what type of gas to use on these old rigs, his son Phillip hurting himself, Joe's been haying this spring, Democrats and Republicans and more.

Claremont Police Chief Mark Chase is here as we look ahead to the busy week / weekend in Claremont.  Stevens graduation is Thursday.  If it's sunny, it will be outside, if raining (which looks like it will) it's inside.  There is a fireworks show scheduled after the graduation and a graduate parade through the city.  Speaking of parades, Saturday is a huge sday for the Stevens Alumni Association as their parade rolls through downtown Claremont starting at 10:30am.  We talk about the Elks amazing BBQ chicke, the parade lineup, events happening and more.  Plus we talk about the newest K9 officer in Claremont, horse cops and more.

Wayne and Eddie are here as we check in with Wayne's health.  It's been a week and half since he had his heart attack.  We talk food, Ed hates tea, Wayne ate trout and more.  Plus they went to the Cornish Car Show and talked about how great that was.
