053 Happy New Year 2022!
Happy New Year! We're kicking off the New Year of (Not) The Only One with the whole youth ministry team, Shelly, Avery, Amy, and Lauren. On this episode we share our goals for this year and dive into this Sunday's Gospel reading. We see Jesus perform his first miracle, doing the somewhat ordinary, turning water into wine. As we enter into ordinary time in our liturgical year, let's chat about how we can let Jesus enter into our ordinary days and moments. How can we be more aware of Him? And how can Mary be a guide to us in this road of discipleship? Check out our show notes, including resources mentioned in this episode (like Word of the Year & New Liturgical Goals) here: https://stmatthewcatholic.org/podcast-nottheonlyoneBe sure to follow St. Matthew Youth Ministry on Social MediaInstagram: stmatt_ymFacebook: St. Matthew Youth Ministry

What do we have as a source of hope as we close out the year?(Not) The Only One will be taking a holiday break and looks forward to returning on January 13th. 051 Sailing Through Faith
The road of discipleship is a life long journey. Much like sailing, we ebb and flow, taking turns in different directions as we try to reach our final destination. Sometimes, we find ourselves off the path and might feel like we've wandered or strayed. Dean and Diane Kiradjieff join us this week on (Not) Only One, to remind us that Jesus is always able to meet us where we are at and guide us back on His path. On this episode, we talk about:Why did Christ establish the Church? What hope can we offer for someone who is on the fence about their faith? How can we all grow more "sustainable roots" as we journey closer to Christ?Dean & Diane offer a lot of hope this week, with the help of St. Peter, for why we need community and that Christ desires a unique relationship with you. Thank you Dean and Diane for all that you do for our St. Matthew community!
