Episode 38 – Street Fighter V Pre-Alpha Edition
Episode 38 is here! We have a few things to talk about in this episode. We start with the surprisingly shallow content released with Street Fighter V. This is a fighting game with shaky servers, no arcade mode (yet), no VS CPU, not really any kind of single player at all really... We discuss this and what it could mean for future releases. We also touch on the new fighters for Smash, the Twilight Princess remaster, and so much more! Street Fighter V released recently, and it's a sad sad release. Capcom has made it clear that the rest of the content is coming, but what they charged 60 bucks for is lacking. No single-player component at all, (save for the survival and training modes) and unstable online servers. There are only 16 fighters at launch, with more to come throughout the game's lifetime. At least the content is free this time to earn in game...We will see how they handle this. The brand new remaster of Twilight Princess is expected to drop soon, and we are really excited for this game! We also discuss the new fighters in Smash, and Ian tells us which one is his favorite. Ubisoft is taking a break from Assassin's Creed in 2016. They have decided to not launch a new game in the franchise until 2017. What does this mean? Hopefully that the next game in the series is going to be a major improvement and will hopefully bring some much needed change to this stagnating franchise. We can only hope that Ubisoft is finally considering using feudal Japan as a setting... Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls are getting an HD collection release on March 2nd. This is great news for fans of David Cage games. If you're a fan of story driven games where player input drastically alters the story, then these games may be right up your alley. We look forward to "Pressing X to JASON!" on our PS4s soon. Finally, Ian shares his excitement for Ni No Kuni II. This is a beautiful RPG that has an art style reminiscent of Studio Ghibli. That's because Studio Ghibli actually did the art style for the game! If you like JRPGs and feeling like you're exploring the wonderful universe of Studio Ghibli, this is the perfect game for you!

Episode 37 – 2015 in review and 2016 ahead
I know we've been gone a while, but we've been moving and changing things up. We are going to shoot for Friday posts this year and we'll shoot for our weekly schedule again. Sorry for the horrible audio on Dakotah's part, but we're still getting the kinks worked out. This episode is all about 2015 looking back, 2016 looking ahead, and what's changed over the break.

Episode 35 – Far Cry Primal
This week we have the PS+ free games, Far Cry Primal and some other upcoming games, Rainbow Six Siege and a sale alert! It's a small group this week, it's just Dakotah and Shane. No need to worry though, we still made sure to have an episode for you. PlayStation Plus games came out this week, and we have the list and our initial impressions. We'll have more next week on our first impressions with the games themselves. Far Cry Primal and several other games are coming out soon. We discuss the new games coming out and our thoughts on them based on what we know so far. Rainbow Six Siege is coming soon, and Shane will have his full review next week. The Order 1886 is on sale for $10. Get it while you can! For $60, we determined this game wasn't worth it. For $10, it's hard to pass up!

Episode 34 – Fallout 4
This week, Cloud was announced as a DLC character for Super Smash Bros., we were given a new look at the Warcraft Movie, and Shane got Fallout 4 and has his preliminary review after playing it for a few days.Cloud from Final Fantasy VII was announced as a playable character for Super Smash Bros, and the community is confused by his appearance since he has yet to be in any other Nintendo game. The new trailer for Warcraft came out this week, and Dakotah has quite a bit to say about this new trailer and the new movie. Shane picked up Fallout 4 this week and has been playing it for a few days, but isn't super thrilled with it. He seems to be the first person who hasn't been satisfied with it. Find out why. We apologize for the long delay between episodes, but we are hoping to be back on a weekly schedule.

Episode 33 – Just Kidding! Kojima is on vacation
We have another short episode this week. There is not a lot happening in the gaming world, but Konami is determined to fill that with more Kojima news. Kojima is apparently just "on vacation" according to Konami. Konami isn't fooling anyone when they try to say Kojima is on vacation after he already had a going away party. We aren't buying it Konami! Fallout 4 has gone gold, which means that it's ready to send to print. It's happening. The day is almost here when we can return to the wasteland! All aboard the hype train! Payday 2 has a lot of complicated DLC drama. This is becoming a hot item to discuss this week, and we'll see where the developers want to go with it. Halo 5 is coming out to amazing reviews, while also having a "boring storyline." It's kinda fishy they are able to have both.

Episode 32 – Minecraft Story Mode
Welcome to Episode 32! Unfortunately it's a bit of a short one this week; not much news to cover. In this episode we talk about the recent official departure of Kojima from Konami, Minecraft Story Mode, Nintendo's new console, and a new pet in World of Warcraft.Earlier this month, Kojima officially left Konami. What is next for Kojima? We discuss this briefly. Telltale just released their new title, Minecraft Story Mode. The reviews for it are average, but maybe that is due to the story being more geared towards children this time around. What could it possibly be about? Nintendo is due to release a new console soon! That is, if the market rumors are true. We discuss what the console could be, and discuss the recent discovery that the Codename NX will be a "mobile/home gaming console". Finally, we discuss the new pet that was discovered in World of Warcraft. This isn't a brand new pet, it's been in the code for months, but was just recently discovered! A rare occurrence in gaming indeed! That's all for this week, hopefully we will have something more next week!

Episode 31 – Firewatch
Firewatch gets a release date, Battlefront has a beta that everyone (except Dakotah) played, PS4 gets a price drop, we all hate microtransactions and more news in the realm of gaming. The PS4 got a price drop down to $349 from $399. This puts the price in line with the Xbox One. We're anxious to see what deals Sony can come up with for Black Friday. For $349, you can get a PS4 with either the Uncharted Collection or Last of Us Remastered. Both are fantastic games that are worth getting if you missed them on PS3. We all discussed the new Battlefront beta and our thoughts with it (except Dakotah since he didn't play it). Destiny, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Metal Gear Solid V all have confirmed microtransactions. What does this mean for the future of gaming? The guild for Voice Actors has voted to allow a strike. What does this mean for voice acting in games? Phil Spencer from Microsoft says he doesn't think the Xbox One can catch up to the PS4 this generation. Microsoft isn't interested in catching up or surpassing Sony, they are focused on rebuilding lost trust with gamers. Allison Road Kickstarter was cancelled since the company has teamed up with a publisher to get the game off the ground. This does not mean the game is cancelled, only the Kickstarter. Square Enix is considering using crowdfunding for localization. This would allow them to release games in other languages and territories that were not feasible before. This means that you can get games that were Japan only finally in English! Firewatch has been confirmed for February 16, 2015 and Dakotah and Devon seem extremely excited for this. Let's see how this game turns out. Check us out next week! Leave ideas for us in the comments!

Episode 30 – Destiny In Yo Dashboard
Today is the big 30th episode from Square to Reload! We have some great topics to discuss today. We are going to talk about the Playstation Plus titles for October, as well as what we think about the line up. We discuss that pesky Destiny ad in your dashboard, Black Ops 3 and the last gen systems, the "Augment your preorder" being cancelled and finally, the Tales from the Borderlands Episode 1 being free on Playstation. The Playstation Plus games for this month are: Super Meat Boy (PS4, Vita), Broken Age (PS4, Vita), Unmechanical: Extended (PS4, PS3), Chariot (PS3), KickBeat (PS3, Vita), Kung Fu Rabbit (PS3, Vita). Overall, we aren't that impressed with the line-up this month. You may have noticed the Destiny Ad in your dashboard. This is Sony's new "Featured Content""feature" and we could do without it. We discuss our thoughts on this puzzling feature addition. Black Ops 3 is upon us soon, and it is confirmed to be on the last gen systems. It is missing one big feature though. The campaign mode. (Not that anyone buys Call of Duty for the Single Player) It will cost $50 instead of the normal $60, but it makes us think, should they just start selling it this way by default? Do you think that Call of Duty will go down the path of online only soon? Or is the single player mode actually important to you? Deus Ex: Mankind Divided had a controversial pre-order program to say the least. Well we have good news, Square Enix has officially discontinued the preorder program for this title. We discuss this preorder program, and why it's a dangerous precedent. Finally, Tales from the Borderlands Episode 1 is free on Playstation. It gets a recommendation from Devon, and we also discuss our thoughts on the Telltale game formula, and why some of us like it, and some of us really don't. What do you think? Are you a fan of the Telltale games formula? Or do you think it's too restrictive?

Episode 29 – Uncharted Taco Bell
The Uncharted Collection is coming very soon and Taco Bell has another promotion for it. This time, it's a limited edition gold PS4 with the game. This gold PS4 is so far one of the rarest PS4s released, and funny enough, is from Taco Bell. Sony, I can't tell if you know your audience perfectly or not. Fallout 4 has news with DLC and Battlefront may not be doing so well. Read more after the break. Battlefront is apparently in the Alpha stage still (how the hell did that happen?) and a tester has come forward saying it's broken so badly, a Day 1 patch won't be able to fix it. This is terrible news for Star Wars fans. It seems they wish to rush the game to get it out in time with the movie. This is a bad move, as the game would sell regardless of the movie. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection almost included The Golden Abyss, which was the PSVita launch title. This would have been an interesting way of incorporating the touchpad into a PSVita game. I'm a little upset they didn't do this, as the only way to experience this story is by buying a PSVita, and the collections are supposed to make it so you don't have to buy another console to play every game. Fallout 4 announced there would be no console exclusive DLC. Skyrim had its expansions on Xbox 360 first, and PS3 much later. Looks like Bethesda isn't playing that game this time around. I support this decision honestly. Taco Bell is holding a promotion to give out Gold PS4s with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. They are supposedly only making 6000 of these consoles for the contest. This would make it a very rare item to have. The downside to this is when your friends see your cool gold PS4 and ask where you got it, you have to tell them you ate too much Taco Bell and earned it. PlayStation Plus didn't have voting this time around. This will not be a monthly thing, but it should still be a regular thing. Just a few times a year though. We'll see when the next vote comes up. Video Game voice actors may go on strike. We discuss what this means for the industry as a whole and the possible side effects of such a strike.
