In this episode of the Sports Salsa podcast, we take you inside the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum. Director Emeritus & Historian of the birthplace, Michael Gibbons, is our guest. Gibbons talks about the iconic baseball player’s past, including his birth in Baltimore. The museum is located at 216 Emory Street in Baltimore. Hours are generally 10 am to 5pm, but visitors should check the website for hours since they change during the seasons. Memberships to the birthplace and museum “keep alive the legacy of the greatest baseball player of all time,” Gibbons says. He encourages fans to be a part of the museum’s goals.
