In this episode our heroes decide that it would be cool to do a movie preview for 2015, then wait till April to bother to actually do it. As a result, allow us to present a preview of movies from April 2015 to April 2016 (the British financial year). We cover Jurassic Park, Woman in Gold, Avengers, about a thousand other superhero movies and the whole thing's finished off with the most surreal Ben Affleck interview you've ever heard.

After a long break Jo and Matt return to talk about vaguely film related stuff. We review Birdman, discuss our favorite movies of 2014, deliver an impromptu tribute to Naomi Watts and argue about Ed Norton. Also, Jo interviews Shia LeBouef (Really!). Spoiler rating: 3/5: No plot points are disclosed but we do discuss the style and tone of the film in depth to about the level of detail you'd see in a TV feature about the movie.

Hello. It's been a while since our last upload but this is a doozy. We review Wolf of Wall Street and recommend Filth and the 25th Hour. True to recent form there's also a LOT of discussion of Shia LeBouef. Wolf of Wall Street Spoiler Rating: 2/5 - nothing is discussed that wouldn't have been featured in a trailer/press feature on the movie. In this episode, our heroes discuss Labor Day, and (in a related conversation) why no good movies ever come out in February. Also discussed - Jo's immunity to the charms of George Clooney (celebrity smackdown of the week), the responsible way to Drag Race, what would happen if Winston Churchill was an X-Factor Judge. Also, in a somber moment Jo and I discuss the Death of Phillip Seymore Hoffman and our favorite performances by the great man.

Once again the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences are gathering together to do the important job of giving rich genetically blessed people some gold. Matt and Jo discuss all the (important) categories and Jo shares a story about Matthew McConnaughey interfering.

Two-ish years ago Matt made the fateful journey to Jo Orland's wood paneled lodge and recorded an experimental podcast that started a revolution... Or at least more podcasts. We thought we'd lost the recording but it's been recently unearthed (Jo found it on a hard drive) so we thought we'd share it with you. We talk a bit about Missy Elliot and review Enchanted (we can't remember why). It's got no theme tune, it's a little rough but it is the beginning. Hope you enjoy.

Four years ago Matt saw a movie that changed his life... In a bad way. Now, in an effort to help him get over it and so that Jo doesn't have to listen to him complain about it non stop. The spoilers team are actually going to review the movie that so offended Matt all those years ago... 500... Days... Of... Summer. Also, sticking to the Val's day theme Matt and Jo discuss their favorite RomComs and Jo reveals peculiarly formal relationship with Megan Alison Ryan.

This week Matt and Jo discuss the legalities of dealing with home invaders Macauley Culkin style, the intricacies of French film distribution, and how any movie can be a vampire movie if you just believe. In addition, Jo's celebrity smack-down of the week goes to middle earth's Lana Del Ray, and the gang review David O. Russel's American Hustle. Okay first of all apologies for the audio quality on this one. It's terrible in the first half. The reasons why are unimportant, the main thing to remember is that it's totally Matt's fault. Anyway, in this episode our heroes spend (too much) time discussing Jo's newfound respect for Daniel Radcliffe, Matt's secret love of Elton John, Octopus Miller's career trajectory, and troublingly Jo's opinion that Murder is "the most exciting crime". Also, the gang reviews '12 Years a Slave' the movie everyone loves (except Matt). Spoiler Notes: The 12 years review begins at the 15 minute mark and ends at 27.30. It has a spoiler factor of 3/5 meaning that we discuss plot points roughly equivalent to what might be shown in a Trailer + Preview Show for the movie.

Originally released February 2012: Matt and Jo preview the oscars and complain about all the massive injustices over the years. Matt offers insght into the appeal of Jennifer Aniston and Jo gets very angry about the Descendants. The film, not the band - I don't know how she feels about the band.
