Ken Soloway sees 9/11 and joins the Marines at 17 while in high school
Welcome to the first ever show on the Viter Life Podcast by Viter Mints!   Today we speak with Ken Soloway, a former Marine who served in Iraq.   Ken was a normal high school guy when 9/11/2001 happened.  Growing up in Brooklyn, he was used to seeing the twin towers in the skyline every day.  After 9/11, everything changed and Ken felt compelled to serve his country.  Because he joined the Marines at 17, he needed his parents to sign off on his enlistment.  Ken then finished high school and went to boot camp.   We speak with Ken about why he decided to join the Marines after 9/11 and how he dealt with going into combat while all his other friends went to college.  Did his friends and family think he was a patriot or just crazy?   Ken's story is inspiring and his dedication to service is remarkable.  Join us as we speak with a real American hero!   Refreshingly yours, The Viter Lifers info@goviter.com
