Correction: Kyle didn’t spin the Versa but did spin the RX-7. His Versa lap time was 33 seconds instead of our stated 53. In episode 6 John is joined by Mason Thibodeaux and Josh Vincent as he gets a chance to catch up with two of SoWeLa’s more seasoned and younger members. The three also get into the results for event #4 which was held at Cajun Field in Lafayette on June 21 2015.

In this episode Doug and John talk about their favorites cars, their own! Both go into a break down of the upgrades they made, why they made it, and what they think about it. Doug first talks about how he’s approached his E36 after having experience preparing other vehicles. John then covers his Nissan Versa and discusses his path on his first prepared car. How he got it, what his first mods were, what he’s learned, and what he thinks of the car over its progression.

In this episode Doug and John discuss event #3 chaired by Rob Snider. They also go into their their first experience with the SCCA’s new Track Nights in America program both as an instructor and as a novice driver. Doug also goes onto giving a full track break down of NOLA Motorsports Park.

In this episode John interviews 15 year SCCA veteran Stefan Waller. Stefan Walller portrait by BigFont Photography John and Stefan discuss his start with karts and his transition into full size cars in a Mazda Miata, his hiatus while in school, his return with a Subaru BRZ, and his eventual move to the track with a prepped Honda S2000.  They also go into his experience with Louisiana motorsports over the years especially with the SCCA and his move into other organizations.

John is Joined by Josh Leech and Brandon Vizina as they go over event #2 which was held at Burton Coliseum on April 12 2015.

Doug and John review event #9 which was held at the Burton Colosseum on November 9 2014. This event was Johns first time as event chair which meant he got his turn at course design. The two go on to discuss the season totals and  our 2014 class champions. They also get into future club and show plans for the 2015 season.
