Madeleine Bialke (b. 1991 in New York) received her BFA in Studio Art from the Plattsburgh State University of New York, and earned an MFA in Painting at the Boston University, Massachusetts. Recent solo exhibitions include Death Motel at Newchild Gallery, Antwerp;  Nine Lives at Steve Turner, Los Angeles; Long Summer at Huxley- Parlour, London. She has exhibited in group shows at Max Hetzler, Alexander Berggruen, Berkshire Botanic Gardens, CICA Vancouver, and Dinner Gallery.  Madeleine Bialke was the Artist-in-Residence at North Western Oklahoma State University in 2018 and was awarded the John Walker MFA Painting and Sculpture Award in 2016. Her work has been included in the Brooklyn Rail, The Boston Globe, and New American Paintings. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

Sophie Treppendahl is a painter currently based in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her BA from College of Charleston in Charleston, SC in 2013. She currently has a solo exhibition at Philip Martin Gallery in Los Angeles, CA titled "Take Care of Yourself". She has had solo shows at Johannson Projects in Oakland in May 2022, Quirk Gallery in Richmond in November 2020, and Indianapolis Art Center in June 2019. Sophie is represented by Philip Martin Gallery in LA and Jack Hanley Gallery in New York, and has a solo show planned for the fall at Jack Hanley. Treppendahl has been awarded residencies with the Golden Foundation in New Berlin, NY, 100 W Corsicana in Corsicana, TX, and The Wassaic Project in Wassaic, NY.

Philip Akkerman (Vaassen, The Netherlands, 1957) is a painter of self-portraits. He studied at the Royal Academy of the Arts in The Hague and Ateliers ’63 in Haarlem. In 1981 he began to paint self-portraits. His oeuvre now nears 5,000 self-portraits and is unique in its multiformity. Every self-portrait is unusual and the extraordinary variations appear endless. He lives in The Hague. Philip has had solo shows at Derek Eller Gallery, BravinLee, Galerie Bob van Orsouw, A-M-G5 in Glasgow, Torch in Amsterdam amongst others. He’s had numerous group shows over the years and his work has been covered in numerous publications.

Suzan Shutan is a CT based Artist, Curator, Educator and recipient of multiple grants including an Artslink grant, Art Matters grant, Berkshire Taconic Foundation grant, two NY Foundation for Contemporary Art grants and three CT Commission Artist Fellowships. She has attended artist residencies at Bemis Foundation NE, Yaddo NY, Proyecto Ace, Argentina. Her work has been featured in 23 solo exhibits including Zacheta National Gallery in Warsaw Poland, Aldrich Museum CT, The Painting Center, NY, University of Massachusetts Hampton Gallery, Amherst, Islip Art Museum NY, Kenise Barnes Gallery NY, Garrison Art Center, NY, Housatonic Museum, CT, Five Points Center for the Visual Arts, CT, Arts & Cultural Center of Florida and has had work exhibited in 198 group exhibitions throughout Germany, Poland, Ukraine, France, Holland, Australia, Canada, Argentina, Columbia and USA. Her work has been published in the books Paper Art Installations II, Post Road Literary Books and has been reviewed by Smithsonian Magazine, Sculpture Magazine, NY Times, Art New England Magazine, Artscope, High Performance, and blogs such as Art Spiel & Yale University Radio/Praxis Museum of Non Visible Art. Cynthia Daignault received a BA in Art and Art History from Stanford University. She has presented solo exhibitions and projects at many major museums and galleries, including the New Museum of Contemporary art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, MASS MoCA, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and White Columns. Her work is in numerous public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Walker Art Center, and the Baltimore Museum of Art. Daignault is a regularly published author, and editor of numerous publications. The first major monograph on her work, Light Atlas, was published in 2019, and a new paperback edition will be released in early 2023. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including a 2019 Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, a 2016 Foundation for the Contemporary Arts Award, a 2011 Rema Hort Foundation Award, and a 2010 MacDowell Artist Fellowship. She lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland.

Anthony Cudahy (b. 1989 Ft. Myers, FL, US) completed an MFA at Hunter College, New York, NY (US) in 2020. He has had solo exhibitions with Hales Gallery, New York, NY (US) in 2021; Semiose Gallery, Paris (FR) in 2021 and 1969 Gallery, New York, NY (US) in 2018. Nick Doyle is an artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He holds an MFA in sculpture from Hunter College and a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Doyle attended the Skowhegan school of painting and sculpture in 2014. From 2014­–2017 Doyle was a resident of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s workspace program. Alvin Armstrong is a painter whose work explores the social and political landscape of Black American culture. His paintings are often filled with real and fictional subjects, culled from archival material, his community and lived experiences. He’s lived in Hawaii, Japan, and California all of which have informed his art practice. Armstrong received an MS in Eastern Medicine and was a licensed acupuncturist before discovering visual arts. The self-taught artist currently has a show at Anna Zorina Gallery titled, “It Goes To Show” which is open through November 26, 2022. Armstrong’s work has been featured in the New York Times, Brooklyn Rail, Hyperallergic, Something Curated, Artsy and Juxtapoz Magazine.

Ali Miller is a New York City-based artist from Long Island, NY, working in painting, drawing, and sculpture. Miller constructs fantastical nonlinear-narratives, addressing themes of expectation, using extreme and surreal scenarios. Miller received her MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Hoffberger School of Painting in 2012 and her BFA from Alfred University in 2008. She has attended residencies at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, Golden Foundation, Vermont Studio Center, Chateau Orqueveaux, and Chautauqua Institution. In 2012, Miller received the Best in Show Prize at the Bethesda Painting Awards. Miller's work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, and her work can be found in both public and private collections. She is currently represented by High Noon Gallery. Keita Morimoto is best known for his cityscapes and portraits painted with theatrical light that is reminiscent of Rembrandt and Edward Hopper. He brings classical techniques into the present and transforms mundane streets into extraordinary worlds. Through his practice, Morimoto questions the structural fragility and moral codes of contemporary life by focusing his attention on everyday subjects such as vending machines, fast food restaurants and parking lots. Using the historically symbolic motif of light, he combines its natural and sacred connotations with products of consumerist and industrial culture. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto Canada (MOCA), Art Gallery of Peterborough, The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, and Fort Wayne Museum of Art.

Vickie Vainionpää was born in 1992 in Toronto, Ontario. She earned her BA from the University of Waterloo in 2015. Starting with a generative computer script and ending as oil on canvas, her work considers the impact of technology on the process of painting. Vickie has had recent solo exhibitions at The Hole NYC and Galleria Nicola Pedana in Italy.  She has won many creative awards such as the Liz Edwards Memorial Award and the Louis Muhlstock Endowment (Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity). She was recently a resident at Palazzo Monti (Brescia, Italy) and Vermont Studio Center. Recent group exhibitions include projects at Future Gallery (Berlin), The Hole (NYC), La Fondation du MAC Montréal (Montréal), Olga Korper Gallery (Toronto).  Vickie will be presenting new works coming up this November at NADA Miami in a solo presentation with The Hole NYC.

Thomas Jackson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. After earning a B.A. in History from the College of Wooster, he spent his early career in New York City working first in book publishing, then as an editor and writer at Forbes Life magazine. An interest in photography books eventually led him to pick up a camera, shooting Garry Winogrand-inspired street scenes, then landscapes, and finally the installation work he does today. A self-taught artist, Jackson has created a unique process that merges landscape photography, sculpture and kinetic art. His work has been shown widely, including at The Photography Show (AIPAD) in New York, the Center for Contemporary Arts in Sante Fe and the Bolinas Museum in Bolinas, CA. Jackson was named one of the Critical Mass Top 50 in 2012, won the “installation/still-life” category of PDN’s The Curator award in 2013 and earned second place in CENTER's Curator's Choice Award in 2014. David Scanavino (b. 1978, Denver, Colorado) lives and works in Providence, Rhode Island.  A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA Painting 2001) and the Yale University School of the Arts (MFA Painting 2003), Scanavino has shown widely in the past 15 years in New York, across the country, and internationally.  He has had solo museum exhibitions including "Imperial Texture" at the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield CT (2014), "Candy Crush" at the Pulitzer Foundation of Art in St. Louis, MO (2014), and “Repeater” at the Moody Center for the Arts at Rice University in Houston, TX (2017).  He has permanent public commissions installed in the Columbus Metropolitan Public Library in Columbus, Ohio and the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.  Scanavino has had multiple solo gallery exhibitions with Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery in New York, as well as solo and group exhibitions at Michael Benevento, Los Angeles; Marlborough Gallery Broome Street, New York; Team Gallery, New York; Bureau Gallery, New York; Marianne Boesky, New York; and Derek Eller Gallery, New York. His work has been reviewed in Art in America, ArtReview, The New York Times, and the New York Observer, along with numerous other publications, and is held in public collections including the RISD Museum, The Cleveland Clinic, The Progressive Art Collection, the The Pizzuti Collection and the Rice University Art Collection.  Scanavino is a faculty member of the Rhode Island School of Design.

Sue de Beer's work spans the diverse disciplines of film and installation, sculpture and photography. She received her BFA from Parsons and her MFA from Columbia University. Solo exhibitions include the Kunst Werke, Berlin, the Whitney Museum of American Art at Altria, The Park Avenue Armory, and the High Line, New York, as well as Marianne Boesky Gallery in New York, where she is represented. Her work has been included in group exhibitions in such venues as the New Museum, the Whitney Museum, PS1/MOMA, the Brooklyn Museum, the Reina Sofia in Madrid, a, the Deste Foundation in Greece, the Museum of Modern Art, Busan,in South Korea amongst others. Sue’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the New Museum for Contemporary Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Deste Foundation, the Goetz Collection, and others. She is a recipient of an American Academy in Berlin Fellowship (2002), a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship (2016), and a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (2019).

Michelle Blade is an artist born in Los Angeles who makes paintings and drawings documenting time, closely examining the stillness, strength, and persistence of the natural world and our relationship to it.   Recent exhibitions include her solo show "The Blue Horse" at Loyal, Stockholm (2022), and “Into the Forest” at Wilding Cran Gallery, Los Angeles (2020). Some recent group exhibitions include When The Sun Loses It’s Light at Blum & Poe, Los Angeles(2022); High Voltage 3 at The Nassima-Landau Project, Tel Aviv, Israel (2022); Machines of Desire at Simon Lee, London (2022);  “If you Forget My Name I will go Astray) at Anat Ebgi, Los Angeles (2022), and “My Secret Garden” at Asia Art Center curated by Emilia Yin and Melanie Ouyang Lum (Taipei). She has also exhibited at Anat Ebgi (LA), La Loma Gallery, (LA); The Pit (LA), WOAW Gallery (Hong Kong), Make Room (Los Angeles), F2T Gallery, (Milan); The Center for Contemporary Arts (Santa Fe), The Bonnefanten Museum (Netherlands), Jack Hanley, Roberts & Tilton (Los Angeles), and The Torrance Art Museum (Los Angeles). Blade’s work has been featured in The New York Times Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, The Paris Review, Juxtapoz, The California Sunday Magazine, and Art Maze. Michelle Michelle has a BA from Loyola Marymount and an MFA from the California College of the Arts, in San Francisco.

Raffi Kalenderian is an artist who studied painting at the University of California, in Los Angeles. Subsequently, he did artist residency at Idyllwild Arts Academy, California, and at Medium, St. Barthélemy. Raffi uses oil paint, watercolors, graphite, and colored pencils, sometimes combined with a collage of photocopied material. His portraits show people surrounded by domestic environments; patterns of clothing and furniture build elaborate abstractions. In his work, The artist reflects on leisure and portrays a young society that seems to be always waiting for something.  Raffi has held solo shows at the Buchmann Galerie, Berlin; Galerie Peter Kilchmann, Zurich; Brand New Gallery, Milan; Susanne Vielmetter Gallery, and Black Dragon Society gallery, both in Los Angeles. His participation in group shows was notably at Setareh Gallery, Dusserdolf; Saatchi Gallery, London, and Taymour Grahne Gallery, New York. His work is in the collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA Minneapolis Institute of Art, Minneapolis, MN and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Santa Barbara, CA.

Delphine Hennelly received her BFA from Cooper Union in 2002 and her MFA from Mason Gross School of the Visual Arts at Rutgers University in New Jersey in 2017. A painter, drawer and occasional printmaker, Hennelly explores figuration primarily using the female form. She is a three-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Award. Recent presentations include “What A Day!” a group exhibition at EveryDay Mooonday (Seoul, Korea); “Fluuuuudio,” a group exhibition curated by Edoardo Monti presented at Cassina Projects (Milano, Italy); a participation in David Zwirner’s Platform; and the solo “Beguiling Tedious Hours” at Pangée (Montreal, Canada). In November 2022, she will have a solo at Carvalho Park (New York, New York). She recently completed a residency at Palazzo Monti (Brescia, Italy).
