Episode 64: Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind or How Many Cockles is Too Many Cockles?
So sorry for the delay but we're finally back! Some have said that this episode from Season 19 would have been the perfect way to end the show, I guess they didn't realize it would still be going strong 15 years later with no signs of stopping. The episode places Homer in a precarious position where he doesn't remember a seemingly traumatic experience from the night before. As he tries to put the pieces back together he realizes what a lucky man he truly is.  We were a bit torn over this one and go deep, not only in our thoughts of the episode as a whole, but how we would feel if this would have been the final episode of the show. Along the way Cori tells us about her chiropractor and the connection between Jack the Ripper and H.H. Holmes. Bryan fears that due to the time away that she might have developed a case of the yipps. He also announces some Season 34 news and Brenden is not happy about it. They then go on to debate the appeal of "newer" Simpsons episodes. Can an epiode that is over 10 years old be considered new? We increase our online impact with our first Instagram comment and reveal the results of the Ewan McGreggor mullet poll. We also discuss our favorite donuts, Brenden learns what nighttime minutes are and searnades us with a song from his 4th grade musical. Lastly Cori and Bryan discuss their My Chemical Romance experience with Lu. This was a good one and we hope that it was worth the wait!  Want to reach out to us? Bryan tells us about the origins of the episode as well as other places the Simpsons are reportedy from. Brenden learns about Tiger Beat and VH1, and tells us why they call him the Apple Meister. Cori is shocked to find out that VHS tapes still existed in the early 2000's and discusses a few more crushes. We also talk about big budget music videos, all the Tiger Beat worthy boys from back in the day and come up with some new prank show names. Even Dean makes a brief but memorable appearance, our apolgies if you can hear is collar during parts of the episode. We had a lot of fun with this one and for the first time ever all seem to agree on our thoughts about the episode. We hope you enjoy it!

Ep. 62 The Italian Bob or Donezo: The Longest Goodbye Ever
This is the second of two Sideshow Bob episodes as we see what happened to Sideshow Bob after his last attempt to get Bart, when the family meets up with him unexpectedly in Italy. Brenden had to set this one out due to scheduling conflicts so Cori and Bryan take it over. Cori gets upset over the dumming down of the Italian language for this episode and she may have her own vendetta against Disney? Bryan tells the truth behind Veggie Tales and discusses the joys of the tv cart being rolled into your classroom. Lastly, Cori tells us that she had a shot to be on the Mickey Mouseclub, if only she lived in Orlandon in the 90s. This was another fun one and we hope that you can join us. Available now on Spotify, Stitcher, Apple and Google Podcasts or wherever you find your podcasts.

Ep. 61 The Great Louse Detective or They know that we know, that they know, that we know, ya know?
In this episode we have the first of two upcoming episodes featuring the the triumphant return of fan favorite Sideshow Bob. This episode shows us the importance of backdoor deals and Bob helps the Simpson family discover who is trying to kill Homer. He is actually an huge help and puts his hatred of Bart on the backburner, with a little persuasion from an electric zapper. For the first time in a long time we do talk about Twitter, as it is brought up a few times in the Eye on Springfield segment. London makes a brief appearance to tell us all about Charley DiMillio. Brenden thinks that Frasier and Kramer are the same person and is told all about George Foreman and his famous grill. Bryan looks back fondly on RC Cola and has to set Brenden straight on the difference between it and Crown Royal. Is Milwaukee a state? We take a moment to discuss. Cori also tells us about a true to life experience inspired by Wayne's World and involving the band Reel Big Fish. Ep. 60 The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson
On this episode we take a look at the Simpson family trip to New York City and discuss how this eisode had a lot of funny moments but realy doesn't offer much in the way of story. Brenden tells his story of getting his first speeding ticket while weighing in on Billie Ellish and is shocked to find out how long ago Ferris Bueller was released. Bryan pitches some new story ideas that might have improved the episode and discusses a joke from the episode that doesn't really hold up. Cori tells a story about having to pee during her sonogram and announces that she is retiring the News and Views segment. We also argue about the timing of the Trump/Simpsons connection and it's contribution to the Simpsons prediction phenomenon. So sit back, relax, pour yourself a tall glass of crab juice and enjoy the ride.

Ep. 59 New Kids on the Blecch or What if Loopey and Coughy Carry this Episode?
Do you like Boy Bands? Well if so have we got a doozey for you! In this episode we see a government conspiracy lead to the formation of Springfield's first boyband the Party Posse. And let's not forget about the special appearance by N'Sync. Cori has a lot to say about boy bands and sends us down an extensive boy band breakdown, as well as telling us which band she met at a local K-Mart in her youth. She also ranks her favorite members of N'Sync. Bryan tells us who the Simpson's creators originally wanted instead of N'Sync and the joke that they played on Justin Timberlake.  Brenden learns about VJs and asks if this episode ripped of the Josie and the Pusscats movie that came out around the same time. So come kick it with us old school, Word! Just a quick disclaimer Cori was feeling better but was still not 100% so we did the best we could to edit out her coughing but a few may have still made it in.

Episode 58: The Itchy, Scratchy & Poochie Show or Who's Dons Cordoroy?
Oh how we've missed you! Have you missed us? So sorry for the delay but with coflicting scedules and sickness that ran rampant through the house we had a tough time getting this one out for you but here it is in all of it's glory! In this episode we see Krusty try to pivot to stop the bad ratings of Itchy and Scratchy by introducing a new character, everyone's favorite half Joe Camel and a third Fonzarelli, kung fu hippie from Gangsta City, the rappin surfer whose fool he pities, everyone's favorite Poochie.  We were just coming back from a road trip to Pittsburgh so we were all a little bit punchy but think the episode turned pretty good, even if we went multiple days from watching the episode to recording the podcast. Cori sings some Nelly and has a question about Luther Vandross. Bryan tells us of the connection between Poochie and a certain character form Growing Pains, all while trying to discover the meaning of "debu." Brenden leads a discussion of fan boy culture and gets very upset over the concept of painting bricks. But through it all the family can at least agree on one thing, Roy's our boy! So join us for this deleriously delusional ride, you'll be glad you did!

Episode 57: Boy Meets Curl or A Dream Come True Maker
Hot off the 2022 Winter Olympics, we bring you this travel episode, where Homer and Marge compete for Olympic curling glory during the 2010 Winter Olympics, in Vancouver, Canada. Lisa also develops an addictive habit until Bart helps her kick it. Cori discusses the origin of the Romper Room Shout Out and reveals the shocking truth, that she was originally left handed. Brenden is alientated once again, this time it's about Tom Brokow and he helps us to discover that Alaska is further away then we thought. Bryan gets annoyed with the inconsistencies of animated curling and we end the episode talking about funeral potatoes. So get out your brooms and get ready to be swept up in a really fun episode.

Episode 56: I Love Lisa or Should Have Kept Pee Wee in the Playhouse
We choo-choo-choose you to listen to this classic episode where we take a look at I Love Lisa. Ralph Wiggum falls for Lisa but his interest is not reciprocated. Brenden helps us look at this episode in a different light by not only looking at things through Ralph's eyes but rather through Lisa's eyes. We question Ralph's actions and think that Lisa may not be completely in the wrong. Cori has us play a game where we guess which breakup lines she has used from the show. We also answer listener emails and tell childhood Valentine's Day stories. You might not have asked for it but we also bring you some great nose picking content and make sure to stick around for Cori's bold Super Bowl predictions. This is an all time great episode of the Simpsons and we had a blast recording this one, we hope you enjoy it as well!

Episode 55: The Fear of Flying or Couches are for Louses
For this episode we decided to give Marge some love and go back to the hey day of the show as we look at the season 6 episode, The Fear of Flying. In the episode Marge reveals that she has a deeprooted fear of flying and gets some help to try to overcome it. Our hosts break it all down for you with a lot of fun along the way. Cori says hello to some ball playing boys and asks the age old question are you Team Dylan or Team Brandon. Brenden and Bryan also discuss the history of the couch gag and whether it should be changed. They all talk about the similarities between the songs, It's Raining Men and Bodies, as well as having a discussion about a real dog wedding. We hope that you will send your tots and pears for Dean, and hope you enjoy the show!

Episode 54: Frinkcoin or All I want for Christmas is you? There is no you.
Well we admittedly made a mistake with this episode as there was some confusion between the episode that Brenden wanted and the episode that we took a look at. The episode shows Professor Frink develop his own cryptocurrency and becomes quite wealthy as well as finding some new friend. Not willing to become the second richest man in Springfield Mr. Burns decides to make his own and ultimately usurp Frink of his postion. This episode starts of with just Bryan and Brenden, as Cori was not feeling up to recording but she realizes that she couldn't stay away and shows up halfway through to defend Mariah Carey. Cailin also makes a brief appearance to give you a recommendation.  The episode was the most cryptocurrency episode that ever cryptocurrencied. Along the way the gang is rather critical of this modern episode, but they do find their way to some high points. Bryan loves the Jim Parsons cryptocurrency bit, while Brenden has the realization that this episode is rather similar to a Dhar Mann video. After having a heatfelt moment Cori has another Hello Therapist moment as well as professing her love for googly eyes. Brenden ends the episode with a rant on cryptocurrency and apologizes for the confusion in selected this episode. I guess that's what we get for selected a current one.  Available now on Spotify, Stitcher, Apple and Google Podcasts or wherever you find your podcasts!

Episode 53: The Fight Before Christmas or I Didn't Say Stop
The Budnik-Scarupa family is back with this holiday themed episode from Season 22. Not going to lie it’s a weird one as we see the Christmas dreams of 4 of the family members. The segments are disjointed, nonsensical, end abruptly and at times are just straight up disturbing, maybe like some of your holiday plans this year. Brenden sat this one out because he wasn’t feeling well, but Bryan and Cori try to keep with the holiday feel. Cori loves Spiderman spoilers, but don’t worry she doesn’t say any and brings us a festive hello therapist session. She us gives us her top 3 Christmas songs, and boy do they run the gamut. Each of them have sing along segments as well as detailing their top Christmas movies. They discuss Katie Perry’s very off putting closing comment, but they don’t let that bring them down. So put on your favorite ugly Christmas sweeter, sip some hot cocoa and buckle up for a rather interesting conversation about this krazy kaladescope of an episode. Thank you always for your support and don’t forget you can reach out and like and subscribe our show on our social media platforms: Email: soitscometothispod@gmail.com Instagram: soitscometothis_pod Facebook: soitscome2this
