It has been nearly a year since much of the U.S. entered coronavirus-related lockdowns. For many people, they're approaching the anniversary of when they realized that life as they knew it was being fundamentally altered from how it had been a month, a week, or even a day earlier. The work-from-home era began. Empty grocery store shelves, empty streets, the absence of rush-hour traffic all seemed like post-apocalyptic scenes. Things that people often took for granted like hugs, seeing friends at birthday parties, dinners out together, midday coffee run with colleagues, and school — were no longer considered safe and harmless as they had been before. In today’s episode, we speak to District 6’s Superintendent, Dr. Keely Roberts. Tune in and listen as she reflects on this past year dealing with the pandemic - her stories of heartache, heroes and hope.

Students at Zion Central Middle School are being recognized for reaching their MAP Testing goals. In today's episode, we speak with some of these students about their test scores and how it felt to receive an incentive for hard work.
