Making Social Media Social Again with Deanna Seymour
Episode 27 - On today's episode, my guest Deanna Seymour and I had a wonderful conversation about social media and some of the ways it has gotten away from being, well, social. Deanna shares her 6 weeks experimentation of cutting off all social media and how she went old school to stay in touch with family and friends. During this social media detox break, she also found joy and laughter in creating a movement with her family, leading to her hosting daily dance parties! So, make sure to grab your kids and join her! Deanna Seymour is a wife, a mom, and a human just tryin’ to do her best in this crazy world. She started hosting daily nine-minute dance parties for folks who want to infuse more joy, laughter, movement, and creativity into their lives. She knows how hard it is to make time for fun and play when we’re so bogged down with the worries and struggles of the day-to-day. Her goal is to build an inclusive community where people feel seen, heard, and accepted just as they are, which will ultimately lead to more joy in everyone’s lives.
