In some ways this macronutrient can be considered non-essential because the fundamental component glucose can be made within the body. However carbohydates are a very important part of a nutrition strategy and fuel your body to perform optimally in movement, cognitive activity, sport and exercise to name but a few. In this episode I talk all about the why's, how's, what's and how much on carbhydrates so sit down, relax and enjoy.
