Today’s show  Let me start off by explaining the reason for not uploading any casts this past four weeks, The reason is tragically that death came calling to my family and she led a wonderful woman away from this life and into the next . My mother in law was a beautiful lady and is desperately missed by us all, Believe me when i tell you that it was my absolute privilege to have known her as she was everything decency demands in a person , and in this current world that we live amongst the darkness and wicked intention of others I can absolutely attest to the fact that she was a thoroughly good and kind person ,something that is sadly lacking in so many others  And although she has passed from this life and through the great veil she will never pass from our hearts. Coming up on today’s show, It’s The return of friend of the show jared Murpy and he’s here to fill us in on his up coming expedition to the Grand Canyon in the United States of America , If you remember from episode eight This planned expedition isn’t walking along well travelled paths carrying a trowel and brush hoping to find something , No it certainly isn’t. Jared and his team are going to be scaling some  of the toughest cliff faces of the grand canyon in some places thousands of feet from the canyons floor subsequently putting their lives at great risk to gain access to and exploring the cave systems  Why ? To seek the truth as jared is all about that and through this very dangerous mission hopes to dispel or prove some of the myths or misdirected alleged finds from our own ancient past . Coming up on today’s show, During this last eighteen months we all have come to know what the term lockdown means , And I remember the first one clearly, During those early days panic uncertainty and the emphasis on complete adherence were common place , My point? During that first lockdown  A government minister showed his humanity by breaking those edicts and visiting his elderly parents ! Shouts of hypocrite resounded from all levels of society  There were calls for his resignation, There was outrage and much fist banging by those who had set these rules,  as well as many talk show hosts joining the potential witch burning salivating at the mouth in anticipation and hope for what was to come , Paparazzi and news reporters swarmed and hounded this individual and sadly it reach its crescendo . But let me ask you this where were the paparazzi and news crews at the thousands yes I said thousands of food banks in this country which have provided through out these troubled times and continue to provide much needed help to those who are desperate  Where is the outrage and awkward question, And more importantly where are the answers. I’m assuming this subject is not sexy or glamorous enough, It’s not a ‘ air quotes’ celebrity  Or a footballer nor is it a popular music icon , No it certainly isn’t  It’s the dirty washing that’s left for others to pick up . The need for Emergency food aid in western countries make no mistake is on the rise , Here in Britain there are hundreds of charity’s and organisations if not thousands providing the difference between eating or going hungry , And this spans all ages of people, Single or with a family. Coming up on today’s show my guest is Dr  Piero Calvi-Parisetti a medical doctor originally specializing in Public Health and Disaster Management. At the beginning of his career, employed by the International Red Cross and the United Nations, he worked in the management of large-scale humanitarian aid operations in Africa, Asia and the former Soviet Union. At the end of year 2000 he moved from field operations to the classroom, taking up a late academic career. Until 2015, he has been Professor of Emergencies and Humanitarian Action at the Institute for International Political Studies of Milan University (Italy) and a visiting professor at several other universities in Italy, Switzerland and the UK.In 2004, a simple anecdote narrated by his wife triggered an intellectual interest, at first, and then a true scholarly passion for psychical research, especially for the study of scientific evidence pointing to the survival of human personality of bodily death.By digesting some 30,000 pages of literature, attending international conferences and study days, interviewing the researchers and even training personally with one of his intellectual heroes, Dr Raymond Moody (the first physician to write about Near-Death Experiences in 1975), Dr Parisetti became convinced that mind and consciousness cannot be reduced to the activity of the brain, and, in a way which we do not understand, they survive the death of the body.In 2008, he published his first book 21 Days into the Afterlife, hailed by NY Times bestselling author Michael Prescott as “The best introduction I have seen to the survival hypothesis”. His other books are Adventures in Psychical Research (2011) and Apparitions – Proof of Survival (2014) and Step into the Light, published in 2021 and directed specifically to those in fear of death.As a medical doctor and a former humanitarian, however, Dr Parisetti's main drive and motivation in life is to be of help to others. After 2010, therefore, his interests gradually shifted towards applied psychical research, that is the practical application of the research findings, in particular for the benefit of the bereaved and the dying. He formally trained as a cognitive-behavior psychotherapist and developed an original counselling approach directed to those who suffer because of the loss of a loved one. This approach aims to help the bereaved and the dying developing a rational belief in life after life – a belief based on reason, built upon the critical evaluation of evidence, rather than on faith.In 2012 he produced a self-help workbook with an accompanying 8-hour video course based on this approach and donated it to the Forever Family Foundation, a nonreligious, not for profit organisation  of over 12,000 members worldwide which is dedicated to furthering the knowledge of afterlife science among the bereaved.Dr Parisetti is a member of the Society for Psychical Research and of the International Association for Near- Death Studies, two professional scientific research organisations. Michael puts forward startling evidence through his thorough investigations , that humanity in its anatomically correct form has been on this planet for millions of years and he hypothesis's maybe from the beginning. His authored books to name a couple are as follows, Forbidden archaeology, which we will be discussing today And Human devolution He is a man of many sources of literature written by him and appearing in ,and not just on archaeological matters whether in a quote or as a consultant in fact so many that I cant possibly name them all here , Needless to say he is truly a visionary and way ahead with his thinking and hypothetical and good sense logic as to our origins , Forbidden Archaeology, which he wrote with Richard L. Thompson, has attracted world wide acclaim from its readers and attention from the archaeology community as a whole and has subsequently stood its ground proudly and unshakably under the scrutiny from the latter who would call it sudo science .
