In this episode of Sideline Icons, we lament our losing baseball teams, our losing bets, and get mad at John Cusack.First off,  John Cusack got into an argument at a White Sox playoff game after being accused of being a fair weather Chicago baseball fan and Xavier had some things to say on the topic. We also discuss the fact that none of our teams won a playoff series so we are all out in the first round. Also, we are becoming hockey fans this season and Tom has decided to become a Seattle Kraken superfan. We wrap up the show with our Fantasy football minute and all three teams won this week! And then we get into the Sideline Bets where Tom remains retired until Nick and Xavier have all his picks already so he unretires on the spot.Enjoy!

In this episode we discuss the big stories in the sports world from this week. First up, the MLB Playoffs have arrived and our teams have made it! The White Sox and Brewers are both in the playoffs this year, and we each give our outlook on how we think our teams will do. Unfortunately the White Sox have already lost their first game in a major way, but there is still hope. Next we discuss the big NBA story of the day involving 18 former players. These players committed fraud against the NBA's health insurance fund for around 4 million dollars. Lastly, we have the Fantasy Football Minute where Xavier is the only one winning. We are back for another episode even though technical difficulties almost kept us from recording this one. Once the equipment started working, we discuss everything from NBA media day to Brady's return to New England this weekend.
