In this episode of Show & Tell Sex we talk about white supremacy in sex education. Our guests for this episode are Jennifer Marley & Cindy Lee Alves. Jenn is an Albuquerque activist & UNM student, member of the San Ildefonso Pueblo and working with the Red Nation. Cindy Lee is a sexologist and educator working on her doctoral degree, and activist with the Women of Color Sexual Health Network.  We talk about examples of white supremacy in sex education, why representation matters and how people of color can thrive & take care of themselves in systems of white supremacy. In this episode of Show & Tell Sex we talk about masculinity & sexuality with two guests, Leon Mitchell & Charles Nairn-Mahan. We recorded this episode at the first ever New Mexico Podscape Festival so we were fortunate to have lots of audience questions & additions. We got a chance to talk to Leon about his journey with masculinity as a bi-racial, bi-national transgender man, and how his relationship with masculinity grew and was shaped throughout his life. We talked with Charles about growing up in a household where his mother was the head of house, and how that shaped his relationship with masculinity. We spoke with audience members and our guests about what they love about masculinity, and what they have learned to leave behind.
