In March 2020 the world shut down because of Covid 19 and the use of PPE ( or personal protective equipment) became essential not just for first responders, but also for the general public. The environmental impact of single use items such as disposable gloves and masks is already showing up in our oceans and landfills. This is especially hard to witness for those of us who work hard to practice a low waste lifestyle. And for businesses owners with eco values/  But… is there a more responsible way that PPE can be disposed of with a minimal negative effect on the environment?
