SFBarKast is back, playing table games in Reno Nevada for the holiday season! Join us, as we recount all the news, sports, entertainment, and jokes as we all inevitably tumble into the vortex of the holiday season.

We're back for our seasonal episode of SFBarKast!  This time, we take the act on the road to the Biggest Little City in the World! This time, we celebrate October at Ole Bridge Pub, right on the Truckee river of Reno where we recount current events, and set a few things straight in the universe.

A blast from the past, all the way back to episode 3. 

Brand new location, eerily similar Doc's Clock. SF BarKast returns to San Francisco with a decidedly San Francisco-themed episode at the recently relocated Doc's Clock in the Mission. Guest host Kevin Montgomery sits in for Andrew while we catch up on local news.

Back in business! After a much-too-long hiatus, SF BARKAST is back in Reno again at BEER NV, one of Northern Nevada's best craft beer bars. Jeff and Andrew jump right in to discuss current events, the crazy NBA offseason, and movies and everything else!

Back from Jeff's fact-finding mission in Reno (Found the fact that he sucks at sports gambling), Barkast goes out exploring again in Beautiful Downtown Sacramento! R15, strangely located at the corner of 15th and R, provides the drinks and happy hour pizza.  Up until now, the only thing that Jeff and Andrew knew about Sacramento before is that it's where the Governor lives and that you can easily replace the 'Sac' in the city name with the word 'suck' for amusing results.  Well, It turns out there's much, much more, like Dusty Baker trivia! Go Kings!  Go Nationals!, and Go Barkast!

Top o' The Tournament to ya! The Barkast is back in RENO at 1864, celebrating Nevada's Statehood, Abraham Lincoln, and a quality Kentucky Mule. Also, Jeff finds himself having bad luck with sports gambling, which is a shock to everyone I'm sure. Go Villanova! (Now then, let's refresh that scores page) NOOOOOO.....

You knew this was coming.  SF BarKast reunites at the relatively new sports & beer bar, Buzzworks on 11th & Folsom to discuss the superb SuperBowl last weekend. In addition, we discuss movies, music, television, and what it feel like to impersonate Dan Harmon just in order to score some free beer.  Yeah, this episode is a "return to the scene of the crime" for one of us, with the possibility of getting busted. Does it happen?  You'll just have to listen to find out.

The Barkast is back at full strength, but unfortunately still stumbling through the living nightmare created by everyone's racist uncle that never thought their lives might be better if they moved away from the coal mines to where the jobs are. ANYWAY, Jeff and Andrew go to HOLY MOUNTAIN on top of acclaimed Thai restaurant HAWKER FARE. There they try to talk sports, movies, etc. but keep coming back to the fact that we elected a monster as President... GOOD TIMES. 

So, we tried to wait long enough for all the post-election vitriol to subside but, guess what? -It just hung around.  Therefore, in the interest of posterity, here is Jeff and Kevin Montgomery loudly commiserating about Election Night 2016. WARNING: Explicit Language SPOILER ALERT: We're all gonna die Enjoy!

Guess who's back in San Francisco in the Mission where they belong? It's the Barkast, and this time they head to BAR SAN PANCHO (formerly Chino, formerly Andalu, formerly Maya Taqueria). Plus, it's the last episode recorded before our uninformed electorate decided to 'Let it Ride' on an ignorant demagogue. Listen to what optimism sounded like! All that, and beer.

We were off for a while, but sat down in Las Vegas last month for the Life is Beautiful music/culture, comedy festival.  This time, we sit down at Commonwealth on Fremont street in Downtown Las Vegas, where we describe what it feels like to be WAY too old to be at a music festival.

We're finally back! From deep inside the crown jewel of Mission Gentrification, BEAR VS. BULL inside the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Jeff and Andrew pick up the pieces from late spring/early summer, recap the NBA finals and free agency, talk movies and TV shows, and much more. GOOD TO BE BACK.

Bright light city gonna set SF Barkast's souls on fire as they go to Reno, Nevada. JUB JUBS THIRST PARLOR is one of the city's best music venues, and a hell of a dive bar as well! There is, of course, much discussion on sports gambling and how easy it is to win at, as well as people stealing our hot political takes, dudes playing pool to speed metal, and much more!

Home of two of the city's best trivia nights (One regular and one Star Trek), Jeff and Andrew check in at THE RITE SPOT, an all time classic that so far has avoided being junked up with edison lights and reclaimed wood. Keeping self-entitled tech bros out, however, is the more challenging part, as Jeff can testify to. Also, harrowing stories from Andrew's move to Reno, political talk and much much more!

Formerly a little place called Haigs that made (and still makes) the world's best hummus, as well as employing one of our hosts for a time in the 90s, Jeff and Andrew the 'Hummus Boy' go to the RICHMOND REPUBLIC DRAFT HOUSE to see how they've made it over into a beer bar. Plus, Kobe Bryant's last game, Bernie Bros, and TWO big announcements... All this and 4/20!!

After closing for a couple weeks, long time favorite GESTALT HAUS in the Mission re-opens after fixing water damage (Jeez, Jeff, just use the toilet at your house). After some catching up and a whole lot of old man complaining about bum teeth, comic JANE HARRISON joins to discuss Viceland's Flophouse (which she appears on), the word 'Comedienne' and other things that angry up the blood. And speaking of angry, KEVIN MONTGOMERY stops by to remind the SFPD that shooting unarmed homeless people isn't cool. Plus a wrap up of the NCAAs, Warrior talk and more!

An Institution. A Landmark. The SF EAGLE is the city's premiere leather bar (Sorry whatever the consensus or random opinion on the street is we're controversial like that), anyway... They also happen to have a comedy night on Wednesdays and JOE GORMAN drops by to spit fire!! And some jokes!! Plus, stories from north and south Nevada, NCAA Hoops gambling (and why that's a terrible idea) and much more!!

In what has to be the craziest bar name ever on the Kast, Jeff and Andrew head to the 24th STREET BAR located in what used to be The Attic, a beloved place with not beloved bathrooms. Well, they dumped a truckload of Clorox on it in an attempt to make it respectable. Did they succeed? Also, RadioValencia.fm DJ STEVE 'MALDEROR' COURTNEY joins us as we're wrapping up. His favorite bar in the city was the Attic, so you better believe he's got hot takes! Also, check out RadioValencia.fm for his show (Especially the one where he interviews some dudes named Jeff and Andrew from some dumb bar podcast)... Synergy!!

Academy Award time already? Jeff and Andrew meet up at the bar attached to the music venue, The Chapel called THE VESTRY. In this ep, Andrew wipes his nose clean after his Barkast fact finding mission in Colombia just in time to help Jeff make bold predictions about movies they've seen about 20% of. Also, Andrew recalls how he crushed it in South America (his back, obviously) and a Canadian angel appears to tell us what 'hoser' means... Great times!
