Ep #198 The End
The End. As tears of mixed feelings were running down my face, I pressed sent on one of the most heartfelt emails I've written to my team or to anyone. In my attempt to avoid the parade of details what was really said, I'll shorten it to a few words- Redirect Shut down Cancel and Thank you. And now I am here, writing the same to you because you all have been a part of the Sexyfit journey with me. Thank you to ALL who have believed in Sexyfit and our mission to help women create a healthier, happier and sexier lifestyle; to use nutrition and fitness as a foundation for success; to make things simple and easy and on autopilot for lifestyle plan to work; to show a new way to being and release the unconscious patterns to create an ultimate outcome of health; to burst through the bullshit of 7 day slim downs and robot-like DVD's; to help women believe in themselves and see themselves for who they truly are. Truly from the bottom of my heart, a giant thank you to all of you who have supported, listened to the show, read my books, commented on posts and participated in any of our programs. This is the end. When I first cut a fitness plan for someone four years ago without seeing them in person, I could count on one hand how many trainers were doing online coaching. As of right now, #virtualcoach has 539,626 posts on Instagram. I feel as we at Sexyfit were a part of a shift. A part of something bigger than ourselves and demystification of what health and fitness are really like. As building any business, or creating anything from scratch for the first time - things got messy, then really messy, then fun, then automated, then really fun, then messy again, then fun again, then we grew, then I fucked up and we fucked up, then we cried and tried again. To be super honest with you, I feel like a failure at times because of how many things went. While my inadequacies and insecurities and weak points might have caused others pain, I pray for their forgiveness. I also know that on the other side of the flip coin (because there always is the other side) if I didn't share my knowledge, gifts and skills we wouldn't have been able to transform hundreds of thousands of women all over the world. We are closing the Sexyfit chapter with countless success stories, an amazing book which serves thousands, a community of raving fans and a podcast that is a sliver short of 1 million downloads. And yes, I've discussed this extensively with my friends and yes there is always a glimpse of hope in their eyes when they ask "Can't you automate this?" " I think you can sell it!" "Get more coaches and make it recurring!" Yes yes. I get it. It might look like I'm making a 7 figure mistake but money doesn't buy happiness or integrity with self. The answer is simply no. At first I felt as I need to explain myself and come up with an adequate reason for why I was choosing to do this, the reason is simple. I just don't want to do this anymore. And it doesn't have to make sense to anyone but me. I've always been an advocate for women to honor our feelings and stand firm in decisions we make. Because the world will always have an opinion or a thought or a brilliant idea just for YOU and how you "should" do something or wear something or weigh a certain amount or whatever else. If you listen to every brilliant idea or a thought, you soon forget who you are and why you are here and what's important to YOU. "No" is a complete sense And "I don't want to " is good enough reason not to do something. This is MY life just like your life is YOURS. And the choices we make are ours for nobody else but ourselves. Thank you again for all your support. It's been a crazy ride. P.S.
