Episode 24: PrEP and HIV Care Navigation and Advocacy
Today we discuss care navigation and advocacy for people living with HIV and individuals using PreP with Danny, who works as a Navigator/Case Manager/Advocate in Washington, D.C. In this episode, we go over assistance programs available to people diagnosed with HIV and for people who are using/want to use PrEP, the different insurance plans, barriers to care and to medication adherence, service provider and client relations, and advocating for one's health care.
