02 The Light Shines In The Darkness
In this sermon, Pastor Clint looks at John 1:1-18. This is the chapter that deals with Christmas in John's Gospel -- though it doesn't have the angels and shepherd, no Mary and Joseph, no baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. John is not interested in the facts of Christmas so much as he's interested in the meaning of Christmas. What does it mean that Christ has come? Using the imagery of Jesus as the Light, John tells us that Jesus brings life, truth, and grace. Listen and be encouraged to dwell on the in-breaking reality that the Word of God, Jesus Christ, has come.
