Special Edition Author Spotlight "Be More Dog: Learning to Live In the Now" - Darren M. Palmer Interviews Jim Nelson and Rene Agredano

Jim Nelson and Rene Agredano live, work and write from the road in their RV. Their nomadic life began in 2007, when they sold everything to travel the country with their terminally-ill dog, Jerry. Given just months to live after his leg amputation, Jerry’s bone cancer diagnosis turned their lives upside down, and they never looked back.

Jerry loved life on three legs for two years. That bittersweet journey inspired the couple to create Tripawds, now the largest support community for three legged pets and their people. Later, they formed the non-profit Tripawds Foundation to directly help amputee pets. They tell the full story of their travels with Jerry, how they found their purpose, and turned their passion into a full-time labor of love in their book, Be More Dog: Learning to Live in the Now.
