Boy its good to be back! This week I interviewed my good friend Kiel Quinn. Kiel previously served in the United States Army as an Infantryman and recently finished his 8 years of duty. I was in El Paso Texas with him not too long ago the day he got out and drove back to Rhode Island with him which sparked an idea for me to do an interview with him. This week I decided to do a part two from last weeks topic. This week we covered our nation and the policies and actions that are driving us towards an unknown future. We discuss some current events like Ukraine, Thailand, and Venezuela. Our own issues like the NSA, FCC, and the lack of accountability from the American people. Some resources including Jack Spirko's Survival Podcast, Survival Shows, books like Patriots by James Wesley Rawles and 299 Days by Glen Tate, and a few small ideas to help you build a spring to get you started in the prepping mentality. The Minutes of Anger takes Brown University student Sam Bell to task from his attacking the NRA for illegal campaign contributions and comparing it to several of Rhode Island's practices that are illegal and the hypocrisy of the whole ordeal.

After a week away we discuss a very difficult topic: the actual state of our union. Its a topic that doesn't have so much to do with self defense as much as it has to do with the state of our country, who we are as a country, and what we're supposed to do as individuals. This episode is to insight thought and make you think about the world around you and hopefully to encourage you to take steps to become more informed.
