Roth Conversion - Should You Do It?
In this episode of the Saving Your Future Podcast by Sean P Moran we talk about the potential benefits of a Roth conversion.  This means converting your traditional IRA or 401(k) to a Roth.   The benefit is derived from the fact that our current tax rates are at historic lows and likely you got your tax deferral at a higher rate.  By doing the conversion we are effectively converting tax deferred (tax to be paid later in retirement) to tax free in retirement for a smaller tax today. If you want to know more about this strategy, check out the book The Power of Zero here:  https://amzn.to/2vWKfjS If you are interested in the book Saving Your Future you can get that here:  https://amzn.to/2LFw1P2   This podcast is based on the book Saving Your Future - A Step By Step Guide to Wealth Development written by Sean Moran

The Saving Your Future Podcast is based on the book of the same title by Sean P. Moran.  In this episode Sean interviews Frazer Rice, author and private wealth manager.  He shares ideas and secrets on how to save money and be like the people who are successful at it.   If you want to see the video interview it is here: https://youtu.be/5xt3igj-BAo     Info on Frazer:   Wealth, Actually Book Description:   They say a fool and his money are soon parted, and, for the 1 percent, this is especially true. The more wealth one has, the more risks to their financial security. In Wealth, Actually, he shares his holistic, adaptable approach to wealth management. Through a combination of philosophical discussion, practical advice, humor, and anecdotes, he shows how prosperous individuals can determine what they want their wealth to do; communicate with loved ones about their fortune; avoid overspending; handle wealth threats; evaluate, grow, and protect investments; and choose the best advisors. Money shouldn’t be the dream—but, when it’s managed right, it can be the perfect tool to make dreams come true.
