In this episode, Kim Andryc, Lora Solomon, and Daniel ‘Sitaram Das’ Shankin discuss: Misconceptions about psychedelics Differentiating escape versus deep inquiry Holistic practices to support psychedelic integration Accessing the ecstasy in our nature Key Takeaways: One of the biggest misconceptions about psychedelics is that they are not wholesome, or that they can never be something holy, spiritual or healthy. How to discern if you’re using psychedelics to escape yourself versus going deeper within. Using psychedelics to heighten your meditative experience can be very effective if you use it to look inward. You’ll be able to gain awareness of how you look at the world, and restructure your perception or just sit in reverent remembrance of the experience. Ecstasy is in our nature. Psychedelics, sex, and even a good chocolate croissant are all touch stones to who we really are - it helps us remember who we are. "There are things that we’re concerned about and things we’re not, there’s things we have any control over and things that we don’t. People tend to be the happiest when they line up, give or take. When we’re mostly concerned about the things that we have control over." — Daniel ‘Sitaram Das’ Shankin Sign up for the 2nd Annual Integration Jam by clicking on this link, input the coupon code “REBELLION” to receive a 15% discount: https://integrationjam.com/ Connect with Daniel ‘Sitaram Das’ Shankin: Website: https://tamintegration.com/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/tamintegration Instagram: https://instagram.com/tamintegration Facebook: https://facebook.com/tamintegration Connect with Lora and Kim: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LoraAndKim Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sacredrebellionpodcast/ Email Lora: connect@lorasolomon.com Email Kim: kim@kimandryc.com Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions.
