Trump Impeachment 2.0: Necessity Or Farce?
After the January 6th mob ruckus inside the US Capitol building, the US House, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, rushed to put together articles of impeachment (again) for President Trump. Trump, they claim, led an insurrection on that day and must be held accountable. Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley recently wrote in The Hill of the dangers of lowering the bar for impeachment. Do the House Democrats have a point that Trump must be removed from office days before he is removed from office, or is Impeachment 2.0 as much of a farce as Impeachment 1.0?

The Big Tech Massacre: Is There A Silver Lining?
Big Tech has taken radical action over the past few days to cancel and de-platform thousands of social media users, including President Trump himself. Free speech alternative social media site Parler has been blown off the Internet by Amazon. Free speech advocates, including the ACLU, are warning about the effect of such a purge. Is it possible that this over-reach, with its apparent political overtones, might actually benefit free speech advocates once all the smoke has cleared?

What Will The Democratic Takeover Do To The Economy?
After four years of a Republican-dominated government sinking the U.S. financial situation further towards bankruptcy, it's now the Democrats' turn to step firmly on the spending and debt gas pedal. As the "stimulus," and "help" and "bailouts" continue to ratchet up, the standard of living for the American people will continue to ratchet down.

What's Really Behind The Capitol Hill Chaos?
Was it "treason"? A "coup attempt"? What happened on Capitol Hill yesterday? There is plenty of speculation about out-of-control Trump supporters - and Federal prosecutors are champing at the bit to begin prosecuting. Were there violent infiltrators who led the charge? Were there any other strange factors that deserve attention? We take a look at some of the various reports and examine the question "cui bono?" - who benefits?

Reprieve? Uk Judge Rejects Assange Extradition
News that UK Judge Vanessa Baraitser ruled that Wikileaks founder Julian Assange cannot be extradited to the US to face espionage charges has shocked supporters and opponents alike. Keeping Assange out of the clutches of the notorious Eastern District of Virginia Federal Court may well have saved his life. However, the judge did not oppose the US position that Assange committed the crimes he is accused of committing. Baraitser only ruled that because of the way he has been treated - and would be treated in the future - in government custody, Assange is too much a suicide risk to be sent to the US. Is this "victory" without principles going to stand? Also today: What happened to the flu? Fauci warns of a nationwide California-ization. Amen? And more...
