The world’s biggest religions teach us that life is meaningless without faith in a higher power. It fills people with hope and purpose; it explains the unexplainable; and it condones the mindless suffering of innocent people under the guise of an all-knowing god. I’m here to tell you that this type of rationalisation is as ridiculous as the story of Jonah and the Whale.

We will all experience trauma. It's how we deal with it that matters.

The past 3-5 years of my life have been filled with an obsession: build the online business, automate it, buy an investment property, fill it with tenants, lock up all my possessions, pack my bags, say goodbye to my life in Australia and grab the next flight to somewhere in Europe.  I was studying a 5 year double degree in Law and Communication. After launching a wedding entertainment business, I got a taste for the benefits of working for myself. Flexibility, more control over my income and an increased sense of job satisfaction. I also convinced myself that I wanted to eventually escape the ‘active income / time for money’ trade that had crippled me.  Or at least I thought so.

Society will continue to improve, providing that its people are prepared to be offended. This is the only way that important issues can be discussed. Humans will always be emotional and irrational. Offense if the natural by-product of progress. It’s how we react that matters.

It has come to my attention that I have a problem. This is a bit embarrassing to admit, okay? Apparently, I have been walking around like nothing is wrong. I thought I was like everyone else. Oh, no. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Okay, let’s just tear off the band aid: I Have Resting  Bitch face.

The very first episode of the Brendan Kelso Show I can't remember if I cursed in this one. Let's just assume I did.
