We had an awesome guest host this week for a special episode! Danielle Bezalel is the host of the Sex Ed with DB podcast, an queer and Biopoc centered sex education podcast that is as entertaining as it is informative.  We read Happenstance, a reverse harem, why choose, romance from Tessa Bailey. We had the pleasure of interviewing Taleen Voskuni about her debut novel Sorry, Bro. This story is deeply set in Taleen's own Armenian American community and features a bisexual MC who just wishes not every conversation revolved around her marrying, let alone marrying a man.  Taleen's writing journey started at a young age writing commercial stories with princesses and fairytales. As an adult, she wrote two novels that she decided not to query while writing countless short stories and published essays. We read the why choose reverse harem paranormal monster romance A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor by Kathryn Moon! And we have to tell you, while it was spicy, we felt it left some monsters on the table!  IE _ IF THERE IS A DUDE WITH HORNS YOU MUST FCK THE DUDE WITH HORNS DUH But we digress.  We had a ton of fun watching this reverse harem monster romance. The MC is a lusty human in Victorian-ish times and a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde type seduces her and tells her of a place where she might be a perfect fit. Which is essentially a high-class monster brothel. Color us intrigued. Then she proceeds to find and bond with all the monsters she sleeps with including a vampire, stone ghoul, sphinx from ancient Egypt, the Dr. with 2 personalities, and a cursed human.  Enter the multiple and sexy times. We're doing Halloween in December because I (Bridget), did not have my editing shit together!! But we're back!!  And what a fun episode to be back for.
