Kick off of the big two year anniversary weekend with the release of their triple IPA, Mcilhenny Brewing is also dropping some think slightly more sessionable (then a IIIPA), bitter and tropical.  You and this beer may become "Best Buds"

This is the beer I've been waiting all week for!  A New Zealand IPA that is truly mind blowing from first sip to last.

Mcilhenny Brewing isn't bashful when it comes to big hoppy beer.  They have already flexed their lupulin prowess earlier this week, now they step it up to a double and Wild Child.

Its a dry Irish Stout for any occasion!  No frills, no BS, just a malty easy drinking alternative when you need a break from the hops.

In all my years of promoting San Diego's Craft Beer Scene on the radio I've only had this week's guest on once!  This week we get 5 nights of Shawn and Jamie Mcilhenny of Alpine's Mcilhenny Brewing Company.  We start things off light, with a 6.5% IPA called Wizards Wand.

End of the week as we celebrate the 13the anniversary of Mother Earth Brewing Company!  Tonight we dine in rarity as Andrew has pulled out a can of 4 Seasons Winter '22.

This is the beer we've been leading up to all week!  To celebrate their 13 years Mother Earth has unleashed an almost 11% AVB hop-bomb that is their anniversary triple IPA, Big Mother!

While we like to combine beer and music together, Mother Earth likes combine beer and art.  Their Project X series beers does that exact thing!  Their latest offering isn't here for a long time, but its here for a good time.

There's a new addition to the Cali family at MEBC and if you love the soft, pillowy mouthfeel of a nitro beer from your favorite pub you need to listen to this.

Mother Earth opened up May of 2010, so all week we're celebrating their anniversary and the release of their IIIPA.  But, it's Monday and we need to start with something a little on the lighter side of life with Tierra Madre.

This Nickel Beer Company IPA is my not so secret obsession.  Equal parts "new school" tropical and "old school" bitterness.  It's also a beer that tells a story about San Diego, listen and find out what it is.

The  studio smells like jalapeños and I'm in total fear of what is about to happen in my mouth (and insides).  But, Tom promises that this isn't going to burn...right.

South O has taken a lot of influence from their surrounding area, today's beer is no exception as their IPA pays tribute to one of the more legendary homes in Oceanside.

What is a "Bogan" exactly? South O has dedicated a rather fantastic Pale Ale to this Australian term for the kind of person who blasts Kid Rock and only gets to see his kids on the weekend, but doesn't show up.

Cinco de Mayo happens on Friday and here's a local Oceanside Mexican style lager you should consider adding to your fridge.
