In the final show of the season Bixby Family Head Baseball Coach Jose Cruz, Jr. discusses the series against MTSU and what he wants to see with the growth of the Owls program. He has seen some bright, young players. Sports Information Director Chuck Pool hops on to talk about his day-to-day duties and with the Owls going to Miami, he tells his favorite stories from his days with the Florida Marlins. One involves two iconic names in music. Justin Long and Thomas Burbank relay their stories about how they got to south Main. Justin is getting used to a new position on the field and Thomas has a unique part-time position off the field. Sixth-year pitcher Roel Garcia makes his first appearance on the show a memorable one. A great week of fundraising recently concluded with the 24-hour Challenge and the Night of Flight Scholarship Auction. Lindsey Edmonds' first season as women's basketball coach is discussed at length followed by talk about Scott Pera's squad. While the baseball team is rebuilding there have been a few bright spots on the mound and defensively lately. Spring football is discussed, with one major position change and some additions to the coaching staff.
