Pick You with Antoine Heard
Life goes by at an alarming fast pace, and the volume of work we're expected to complete is ever-increasing. All over the world, people are spending far more than the traditional 9–5 hours getting their work done, week after week. While companies are trying to make workplace stress less of an issue, it still has a significant impact on employees. Frankly, taking regular breaks is something that doesn't get the amount of attention that it deserves. However, what happens when you decide to Pick You and no longer scribe to what the world is telling you? When you make the choice to do what your body is telling you to do. When you make the decision to do what is best for your mental health at all cost. Join me this week as I sit down with clinical social therapist, spoken word artist, and owner of Earnest Expression, Antoine Heard;as we discuss his journey of taking time to reset, recharge, and realignment.

Ten Years Later. Always T.S.;
Time has passed, life has changed, but this feeling on this day is always the same. Over the last ten years, I have said everything I could about a woman who was not only my best friend but my first love. To have experienced love so pure at such a young age was a blessing. To have loss at such a young age was a lesson.This week on the newest episode of ReDeefined the Podcast I introduced and reintroduced many of you to a bittersweet chapter of my life.When I listened to the episode, I wanted to do it over. There was so much I missed, so much I wanted to discuss, but I didn't. I would like to believe God led me right where I needed to be.It was full of truth and transparency, but also with love.I hope you enjoy this episode.

So, I lied with Host Dee McKoy
If I was honest, I would tell you that I thought to have a successful podcast I had to have a guest. A season opener, someone to pull in my listeners, to showcase and highlight what we do on ReDeefined the Podcast. As I sat down to create a plan for Season 3 Miyoshi says, “I think you should stop focusing on getting interviews but sharing a message and then the guest will come.” Oop. She was right, and I was absolutely ready to do what I love. So as soon as my voice came back, I got straight to it. Here we go… Tune in right now and listen to the FIRST OFFICAL Episode of Season 3 of ReDeefined the Podcast with me, your host Dee McKoy!

Mom Shit with Miyoshi
There is no greater journey than Motherhood. It is confusing and it is filled with a ton of highs and beautiful moments, but it is also filled with many many lows. Sometimes you are going nonstop. You work 40 hours, you are running errands, take the kids to practice, and doing it all off of 4 hours of sleep, if your lucky. No complaining, sometimes crying, but never giving up. Truthfully sometimes you forget to pat yourself on the back and say "bitch you doin' a good job." There are also those other days, when you may have cursed too much, yelled too many times, and your patience..well what is patience? If you know, you know. Being a mom is hard. Join Miyoshi and I as we talk about everything to do with motherhood . Men there is something in here for you too. Tune in right now for the newest episode of ReDeefined the Podcast! You do not want to miss it!

We said it, but you were thinking it. Explicit Girl Talk with LuLu
True friendship is when two friends can walk in opposite directions yet remain side by side. That is how I would describe my friendship with Lawana. LuLu and I are extremely close, but it is no secret that we are on two different ends of the spectrum. Although our lives are sometimes total opposites, we somehow manage to show up for each other. With us being on two ends of the spectrum we never have a dull moment, especially when we are having our girl talk. Join us right now as we discuss my fear of purrin' and stirrin' and why it took LuLu 3 times to determine if she liked being slapped. Sit down with us and have a few laughs, some very transparent moments, and open discussion of fear and failure. You don't want to miss this!!

New Chapter Day
Two years ago today Mookie's life changed. Not only did her life change, but so did mine. I had to unlearn and relearn how to be a parent, how to be a sister and how to be supportive. In the last two years we have had many highs and a whole lot of lows. One thing is for certain, we have all grown. Today I took the time out to celebrate my child. She has had 1000000 reasons to give up, but she somehow manages to keep going. Some days are harder than others, but every day, she tries. To my heart beat and my headache, to my first baby, my broke bestie, my number one fan, bad havin attitude 18 year old, and amazing individual.. you have come so far! Every single day that you get up and try, I am more proud of you. The road has not been easy, it has not been fair, but I have watched you put one foot in front of the other despite not understanding. TIn the past two years you have shown and taught me so much! Thank you. This episode is for you. Happy New Chapter Day to the strongest person I know.

A Moment with Dee
McKoy Deyana <redeefinebydee@gmail.com> 5:23 PM (0 minutes ago) to me June 19,2020 was the last time I did a solo episode. From my understanding in the podcast world that is way too long. However, my passion comes from talking to other people and hearing their stories. As my good friend Destani has said many times I am always asking someone “how does that make you feel?” This week I sat with the idea of needing to do a new episode but still wanting to remain true to my mission; be intentional, have people share testimonies, and be honest AND transparent in our conversation. Despite what many people think, having that kind of standard for a guest makes it hard to have people want to come on my show. Well, I went to sleep knowing that I would not be putting out a new episode and that was okay. Until at 12:30 in the morning, my spirit said get up and you do it. Join me this week for a quick episode of ReDeeFined the Podcast. Where I bare a little bit of my soul. Where I stay try to mission of ReDeeFined the Podcast and I speak my truth. Happy listening Family

Everything was all good, Until it wasn't with Mookie
Since the day Makala was assaulted one of the statements I've made over a million times, was, “I do not want to lose my child to something that was not her fault.” But over the last few months..I have watched how trauma can move through someone's life like a wildfire. Just as wildfires are destructive to land, I have watched how PTSD, depression, and anxiety can consume someone's mind, body, and spirit. 10 days ago As I drove from Fullerton to Long Beach in complete silence. When I finally spoke it was to God. I begged him with everything in me to not let me lose one of the best parts of me, my sister. Join myself, Makala, and the rest of my family in celebrating (6/29 & 6/30) as we celebrate Mookie taking her power back, speaking out about her assault, and celebrating life.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Tune in today, Tuesday March 23, for a new episode of ReDeeFined.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Don't forget to follow @__ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ You can listen to ⁣⁣ RIGHT NOW at ⁣ ⁣ @applepodcast @spotify @googlepodcast @soundcloud @stitcher @podserve.fm ⁣⁣⁣@youtube⁣ @pandora ⁣ ⁣ Don't forget to like, share, repost, and leave a review!!!!⁣ ⁣ #encouragementthroughtestimony #redeefinedthepodcast #sexualassault #healing #noshame #survivor #warrior #blckgirlmagic #newchapterday ⁣#sheholdsthepower #noshame #moliedookieboobootowel #podcast

Or By the time you are 16 you have become a sexual assault survivor. Then by time, your 23 you are a single mother who has survived Domestic Violence. For many the first 16 years would have been enough to say, “I quit.” However, that was not the case with Shawna. As we have learned on ReDeefined the Podcast, life is full of swift transitions. This week Shawna discusses how those swift transitions did not break her. She speaks about how strength grows in the moments that you think you cannot go on, but somehow keep going.
