Joe Foster and his late brother, Jeff, worked in the family business. Their family made shoes, and had done so for generations; in fact his grandfather invented the spike running shoe in the late 1800’s.  Joe and Jeff eventually decided to go their own way and start their own athletic shoe business called ‘Mercury Sports Footwear’ which quickly pivoted into the company we now know as REEBOK. One of the things that caught our attention about Ian was his dedication to theatre and film. He’s a talented maker of things, stage combat aficionado, cosplayer, science-fiction geek, and advises everyone to be okay with what makes you happy. He’s Chinese by heritage but struggled, as many do, with his Asian roots growing up in a predominately white culture. A lot of what he went through goes into his work in the form of learning to not care about what people think, while at the same time caring about what people think. Charlie grew up in Corona, Queens running numbers before his brother, Paul (The Untouchables), convinced him to move to Hollywood and work as a stunt double. In 1975 he got his big break as Stunt Coordinator on Starsky and Hutch and the rest, as they say, is history. He's an actor, a second-unit director, stunt coordinator, and first unit director. When Kay says she had no idea what she wanted to be when she grew up, she meant it. She's been a Sign Language Interpreter, a Voice-Over Artist, she trained to be an MMA Fighter, then became a police officer, then later a detective, before finding her true passion. It wasn't until she found herself in the hospital with a life-threatening infection brought on by stress that she decided to make a change. That change led her all over the world and helped shape a unique worldview, rich with inspiration. When the pandemic hit Emre took to the stage in his living room and started playing live-streaming shows every night so he could stay connected and then connect others in a time when everything was uncertain. When Matthew O'Reilly was growing up he struggled with being the "second best artist" in his school. This made him push himself to get better and better and eventually brought him out west to Calgary to learn sculpture. Today Matthew has an outstanding exhibition at cSPACE King Edward in Calgary with some other inspiring artists called the Fantasmagorical Figure Exhibit and has his sights set on even bigger things for 2021 and 2022.
