47. 'But I'm a Good Person!!!'
If you ever hear yourself getting defensive, demanding you are a 'good person,' maybe you're not! Maybe you are trying to rationalize your behavior because you are so convinced you are a good person. Instead of getting your self awareness on, you are probably missing out on some great learning opportunities. Trigger warning, we explore a few delicate topics in this episode, so if you don't want to hear about assault, please switch to a more light hearted episode about systemic racism or the subtle art of not giving a fuck. We endure so much in the world of stand up comedy. Do we have to be gross to get close with comedians?

46. Um... What is Juneteenth?
Juneteenth is not the day enslaved people were freed or the day slavery ended. It’s the day when enslaved Texans found out they had been free... for over 2 years, on June 19th, 1865. That was two years after 'Honest' Abe released his greatest hit, The Emancipation Proclamation, on Jan 1st, 1863. The confederates, however, were not just going to let those slaves go free. So... they didn't tell them they were free for as long as possible! And that's the world we are living in today. It's ok if you didn't know! Sonal just found out this week. And Meg knows because she knows way more than people born in this country... such as Sonal. In the time you read the description of today's episode, you could have placed a call to Daniel Cameron, the attorney general in charge of Breonna Taylor's case. Press 1 to leave a voicemail and ask them to arrest the cops that took her life. 502-696-5300

We are living in a very exciting time. We didn't have the language to put our feelings into action... and now we do! And the whole world seems to be protesting. It can get very tough talking to our families! We'll share some tips. There is so much incredible shit happening with the #BlackLivesMatter movement! And... there is a lot of weird performative shit! Sure, we're all very excited about the big BLM street in Washington D.C., but is the mayor helping the defund the police??? Essential viewing for purposes of understanding what's been happening::: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=9&v=sb9_qGOa9Go&feature=emb_logo

44. BLACK Lives Matter
There is a lot of rage going on, and we are here to redirect the narrative and break some shit down. Like the truth about Memorial Day! Did y'all know that white people appropriated Memorial Day??? If you are still saying all lives matter, here's hoping this episode helps you understand WHY you really gotta stop saying that. The #BlackLivesMatter movement was created by Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, Opal Tometi. It was created to help peaceful protesters organize, but the media rewrote the narrative and called them violent. The same way they are trying to rewrite the story about the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmed Aubrey, and countless others before them. The media will make you care more about a Target than actual human lives who are being targeted. Friday, June 5th, would have been Breonna Taylor's 27th birthday... and the police that killed her and still free to roam the streets. https://www.gofundme.com/f/9v4q2-justice-for-breonna-taylor?utm_medium=email&utm_source=product&utm_campaign=p_email_m_pd-5332-donation-receipt-adyen&utm_content=internal Stay raging, love y'all!

43. Don't Listen to Celebrities about Psychedelics
Now is a great time to explore the realms of consciousness, especially if you have a whole farm to wander around like Sting. If you are thinking about experimenting with psychedelics, do not take advice from celebrities! Meg talks about her graduation ceremony from the DARE program, Sonal shares a few stories about how she loves psychedelics. If you're interested in hallucinogenics, don't bother watching 'Have a Good Trip,' on Netflix and watch '2012: A Time for Change' instead.

42. Outer Beauty, Not That Inner Bullshit
Deep in isolation, how is everyone feeling about their bodies? Who's letting their mustache grow out? Anyone putting on makeup for Zoom meetings? What is 'beauty'? We are not talking about inner beauty! No, no, we are staying shallow this episode. We are talking Beauty with a capital B, the industry, the youtube vlogs, the Rihanna Revolution. So no matter what you look like, we hope you know how beautiful you are. And if not, you can always try to join the 'Ugly People' group on facebook and get the validation you have always been waiting for. 40. We Love the Earth... But!
Happy Belated Earth Day! We love the Earth, obviously. It's just that her fans can get a little annoying sometimes. Sonal proposes some positive impacts the pandemic is having on the planet, Meg is not so convinced! Are any of these headlines about dolphins in canals even true, and at what cost? They also talk music, Meg insists you have to listen to the song Nude by Radiohead. And follow her on spotify to listen to her pandemic playlist! And Sonal does a great impression of Meg's roommate sneezing.

39. Short Episode About a Short Film
Rage gang! We lost a few bits of the recording as we're adapting to isolation... BUT we managed to salvage and piece together enough to bring you at least this mini episode. We hope it is coherent! THANK YOU for sticking with us!!! At least we didn't lose the bit where we hear about Sonal's short film 'A Period Piece' available to watch on Amazon Prime...!!! But only until May 6th, so check it out while you can.

38. The Ages and Stages of TV
Meg and Sonal offer you a break from constant pandemic chatter and talk about all their favorite TV shows through the ages. Meg watched shows Sonal had never even heard of, like 'Drake and Josh,' while Sonal made sure to watch every episode of DuckTales. Bear with us! We are still figuring out the best audio in this remote situaion. Thank you to everyone listening!

37. It's Okay to Not Be Okay!
From their places of isolation, Meg and Sonal are right in the midst of the pandemic with the rest of the globe. And for the first time, it's okay to not be okay! Across the whole world! Back in the pre-pandemic era, if you weren't feeling okay, you weren't really supposed to talk about it. But right now, we have a chance to feel all the feels. We can make time and space for unprocessed feelings, like grief and trauma. It's painful, but at least we are all going through something together. Grieve deeply! The more we learn to express grief, the more we can express joy.

36. Social Solidarity! Not Isolation!
This is a crazy time in human history, unlike anything most of us have experienced in our lifetimes! We are ALL part of a GLOBAL pandemic, and as this story unfolds, we are adapting the best we can! And we hope the audio works on this episode! Meg is in Virginia and Sonal is Chicago. We share some of the unexpected pros of what seems to be so many cons, and some of our favorite conspiracy theories!

35. Mid-Quarantine Mini Episode
Sonal is solo on this mini episode, and Meg is taking a moment to step back from the exponentially expanding media streams! Are we transitioning to a future of human interaction through mainly our computers and phones? Who knows! Nobody knows anything anymore! Let us know if you are listening...

34. Tempered Rage in the Midst of a Global Pandemic
We recorded a normal episode a few weeks ago... back when everything was 'normal' and people weren't buying up all the toilet paper like maniacs, but that episode seems irrelevant in this here and now. So we'll save that as a bonus track! Right NOW, we are in the midst of a global pandemic together. We are facing a new challenge, together. And Meg and Sonal face the challenge of recording an episode remotely. Stay strong everyone! And stay washing those hands.

33. Solving the Good Girl Trope
Hey gang! Sonal and Meg here bringing some normal ass content in the midst of all the madness. Hopefully RaRaRa is one of your weekly rituals and we hope to keep serving that rage radio. This episode is a part two to last week's episode, 'What is a Trope Even?' Here we explore some solutions... to the good girl trope. Not the pandemic. Stay strong everyone!
62 minutes | Mar 12, 2020
32. What is a Trope Even?
What is a trope even? What is the difference between and trope and a stereotype? Sonal and Meg catch each other up on some adventures in Caucasia. And then they explore the damaging effects of 'the good girl' trope.

31. The Advanced and Complex Art of Not Giving a Fuck
Once you truly master not giving a fuck, you get to the fun shit, choosing WHERE you give your fucks. Cause ‘not giving a fuck’ is not sustainable. You will burn bridges. Sonal and Meg have burned many. It’s a lot of work to rebuild. And the restoration of harmony is much harder when trust is broken! So you can’t ever truly ‘not give a fuck,’ or you are probably Steve Jobs. In that case, go for it. He had a pretty bad relationship with his family. So did Gandhi! His kids hated him, and would have loved for his fucks to be directed towards them. Even a couple fucks.

30. The Tapestry of Lies
We weave each other into these tapestries of lies! One episode is not enough, we will probably have to return to the very subjective topic of truth. Meg and Sonal are huge liars, mainly to their parents though... which is ultimately for their own good... right?
60 minutes | Feb 20, 2020
29. On Being an Ally
Being an ally is pretty complicated! How do we use our voices for good? When is it better to stfu and listen? We are all fragmented into so many identities, Meg is an ally to Taylor Swift, Sonal is trying to be a good American. In this episode, we explore all the ways to represent!
66 minutes | Feb 13, 2020
28. The Languages of Love
Sonal never understood the five love languages until Meg used her deep political understanding to explain them to her. Which tyrannical world leaders are paired with which of the love languages? Happy Valentine's Day!
