The Morons met once again this week to recap the 2012 London Olympics, who was getting laid and who was making inappropriate images.

We were excited to be joined by Ty and Jay Fisher, the boys behind Soundtrack of the Week for our podcast this week. They were also behind the Twitter Bracket Challenge of their favorite twitter personalities.  The final two were announced and they happened to be TheFakeNed and LaurieJenn - your favorite morons!! We did something a little different with the Podcast this week. We spend a lot of time talking about the Radio Industry on our show, simply because I'm a fan of radio. Part of that is the radio industry is cutthroat and stupid. Cody Hudson was a morning show jock at KISS 103 in Emporia and Tuesday, he was let go from the station. This has caused an outpouring of support from his many fans on Facebook and on Twitter. We turned over our Rambling Morons podcast to his fans. Episode 2 of the Rambling Morons Cavalcade of stars changed locations to our super secret new studio deep inside Fake Ned's Man Cave. As you will hear from the podcast, we've still got a lot of audio gremlins to work through, but it was an entertaining show nonetheless. The show featured our lovely and talented co-host Laurie Kunkel. We talked about the news of the day, how Fake Lazlo survived the great Earthquake of 2011. Then we interviewed Denver Little, up and coming comedian about Harry Potter, Michael Winslow and ketchup.  Finally, we finished up the episode with the equally lovely and talented TJ Erhardt who is the keyboard player for the Nace Brothers band. He sang a couple of songs and offered one of them as an anthem for #OccupyKC.  We'll get the audio kinks worked out for Episode 3. Enjoy this one, though!

Pissed off about Kauffman Stadium possibly changing its name? Meh.  My response: You only live once and if you could use that money for a new pitcher, DO IT.
