Enjoy The Silence
In another discussion about living from the inside out we talk about How using words takes us out of our experience in the moment Feeling good enough is not the opposite of not feeling good enough Kings and paupers all have the same experience of life You don’t need a cloak and a deckchair to find inner peace Where to look when all you need is some still water

Waiting For The Night
Waiting For The Night asks us to consider reality: What is it? Where is it? Who are we really? And what are the implications for us doing what we want to do?

Today we talk about Freedom and Luxury. Being free of: other people's expectations. the expectations we put on ourselves the limits that we place on ourselves all the times we make ourselves wrong all the times we restrain and constrict and censor ourselves and the luxury of not feeling stressed, overwhelmed or confused knowing that you're fundamentally okay having more time or more money feeling confident or happy having a dream and being able to go for it living life true to yourself

This week we’re talking about the Sweetest Perfection and appropriately enough it’s short and sweet. Let’s talk about how looking outside of ourselves for things to make us feel better or for where to lay the blame for how we’re feeling is never the answer. We have innate mental health and wellbeing and nothing outside can ever take that away. Even if we forget that sometimes. And if you want to know what I think the Sweetest Perfection actually is, you’ll have to tune in to find out! This week we’re talking about the Sweetest Perfection and appropriately enough it’s short and sweet.

World In My Eyes
In World In My Eyes, I take you on a trip to show you what the world looks like to me now I’ve stepped outside the prison I’d made for myself. The prison of what will other people think. I also talk about how living life true to ourselves seems to speak to some grand plan (like a lawyer quitting his corporate job and becoming a chef or ballet dancer), but it’s really those small actions we take, or don’t take, every day that determine whether we are living free or censoring and restricting ourselves. Think about all the times you want to say or do something, but you stop yourself. You get into an internal dialogue about it. What if the dialogue could disappear? Or what if it didn’t disappear but went quiet enough for you to move forward and stop second-guessing yourself so much? What would your life look like then? And finally we talk about love. Because that’s all there is.

Everything Counts: all of who you are and all of what you want to do. The grabbing hands grab all they can: stop playing small and go and grab everything you want.

Through Martin Gore's eyes we take a look at how we can change the world. We talk about: what kind of society we want to live in and how we can make our contribution to that who really has the power to change the world how we create the world we live in through our thinking being the change we want to see in the world the power of now And we touch on this being the world's only Depeche Mode life coaching podcast, but Amir Karkouti has already used this song to talk about how we can change the world in his Facebook group What The F*#$ Are The Principles His group is a fun and simple exploration of how these principles work in our lives.

Today we look at the joy of freely expressing all of who we are and the physical lightness of being that follows when we throw off the shackles of our prison of self-doubt, fear and anxiety. Understanding that we don't need to listen to our negative thinking leads to a joyful liberation. Not only will we end up doing more joyful things in our life; simply being our authentic self is it's own joyful experience.

There is so much goodness in this week's song and therefore in this week's conversation. It's a love song and the first time I heard it, it struck me with both its beauty and its simplicity. Today it sparks a conversation that covers Possibility. There is way more for us to see than we know What more would be possible for us if we open to the idea that anything could be possible What assumptions are you making that are untrue and blocking your way Creativity We do not do or be creativity, we receive it Everybody has the creative potential of the entire universe at their disposal Let creativity flow through you; don't shut it out Being True To Yourself Don't compromise - be you Other people in your tribe will find you Finding your people isn't about them agreeing with you it's about them accepting you as you are

Get The Balance Right
A quick conversation this week looking at: only ever doing what we want to do the distinction between not wanting to do something and wanting to do it but not being in the mood when should we wait to feel inspired before taking action and when should we sit ourselves down in the chair and just get the job done Also, a little bonus chat about how to remove the struggle from any situation.

Today I am in conversation with Mallory Wisong a certified Life Coach and Breathwork Healer. She has chosen Higher Love and as we look at what the song means to her we discuss: Having the courage to listen to your inner wisdom and not your inner critic Can we ever make a wrong decision self-love - does it exist and if so what is it self-love as the pathway to healing self-love as the gateway to creativity I also ask you to vote for Depeche Mode to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And shock, horror, Mal touches on the fact that not all Depeche Mode songs are written by Martin Gore.

This week I knew that I wanted to talk about one of the things I love about Depeche Mode so much, which is that when I listen to them, if I'm feeling depressed I feel more depressed and if I’m happy I feel happier. I wanted to use that as a good example of how our thinking creates our reality and not our outside circumstances. What I didn’t realise is that is that I would talk so much about my depression and the kind of thoughts I have. If you have ever experienced any type of depression and are open to looking at things in a new way, this episode could be very interesting for you. But if you might find it triggering to talk about depression and suicide then please do give it a miss.

Behind The Wheel
We continue our Conversations For The Masses and our look at living life true to yourself with the help of Martin Gore and Depeche Mode. This week's song is Behind The Wheel and we look at: why you don't need to be in control and in fact you're not in control even if you want to be why you don't need goals to make you happy why you should take your hands off the steering wheel and what happens when you do

A Question of Time
This week we: use Depeche Mode's A Question of Time to take a look at time in relation to our dreams; consider the notion that life isn't a race to be won - there are no competitors or finish line; talk about why reaching our goals won't make us happy; look at the different roads to reaching our goals: making a commitment or following inspiration. If you have ever felt panicked because you don't think you're as far ahead with your goals or your life as you should be then give this episode a listen!

We use Depeche Mode's song See You as the starting point for this week's conversation. It starts out with having the courage to be seen for who we really are and takes a detour around who are we when we are being true to ourself and the freedom that comes from knowing we are always our true self before coming back to what it means to be seen.
