Paul Forchione: Overcoming Cerebral Palsy
According to the Mayo Clinic, cerebral palsy is a group of disorders that affect movement and muscle tone or posture. It's caused by damage that occurs to the immature brain as it develops, most often before birth.Strength training is absolutely necessary to limit atrophy from not moving limbs or a sedentary lifestyle in general. Cerebral palsy can limit one's access to physical activities which can lead to all kinds of secondary diseases (obesity, dyslipidemia, and hypertension). After being told he wouldn't be able to walk by doctors, Paul's mother got him into physical therapy and fitness overall which helped him prove his doctors wrong. Paul has taken what life has handed him and turned it into a career as a mindset coach helping others overcome obstacles.  He also host's his own podcast, Actions and Limits where he interviews all kinds of impressive guests that provide great insights.
