Practical Steps To Evangelism
Practical Steps To Evangelism by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/PracticalStepsToEvangelism.mp3 Hey, today, we’re going to talk about Practical Steps to Evangelism, how you can do this without being a creeper. Now, when it comes to evangelism, I don’t know if there’s a step by step, step one, two, three, four, a person gets saved, they go and change the world. I see it more like a pathway, like a roadway, and every single person is somewhere on a path, and depending on where they are on that path will determine how you start the conversation, what you say, how you say it, when you say it, et cetera. Start With The Miracle Question  For me, if you’re going in cold and you want to reach someone in the most effective way possible, the best way to start, I think, is with what we call the miracle question. Why miracles? I did a study where I looked at every single time in the Bible where it says “News about Jesus spread quickly,” or “Word about Jesus spread quickly.” Nearly every single time, it happened as a direct result of someone demonstrating the miracle power of the Kingdom of God – healing the sick, casting out demons, raising people from the dead, those sorts of things.  So I’m all about causing a Jesus epidemic. Now, if you want to cause the Jesus epidemic, the best way is to start the miracle.  Man, we start off our evangelism process with the miracle question, just because I want to see God come and move in this person’s life in a way that makes it really easy for them to believe that the father is good. So we start off with the miracle question.  Now, after the miracle question, after you’ve prayed for them and God has done his stuff, man, it’s really easy after someone gets up out of a wheelchair to say, “Look, that was a gift from the father because he loves you. Would you like to turn control of your life over to him? Would you like to join his family, be a part of a family that’s going to make the world right again?” It’s much easier because now they know that God is real because he just literally impacted their lives, healed them, set them free, et cetera. Now, after we do the miracle question, we’ll jump right into our miracle story about how God impacted and changed our lives and why we follow Him. It’s our testimony, our story of how Jesus came in and impacted and changed our life.  Who Is Jesus to You Conversation Then the next story down the pathway is what I call your “Who is Jesus to you” conversation. I think it’s the most important question that you’ll ever ask yourself, that you’ll ever answer in your life is this question of “Who is Jesus to you?” Matthew 16: Jesus is sitting there, talking to disciples. He says, “Who do people say that I am?” And then he looks at him and says, “Who do you say that I am?” Your answer to that question is the most important question and answer that you’ll ever ask me because it dictates how you live.  This is one of my favorite stories to have with people who don’t know Jesus. I like to talk to them about who Jesus is to me as a person, not as a religious figure who lived 2000 years ago, but as my best friend, what he’s like, what he isn’t like, why is he good. I love talking with people about who Jesus is. So, that’s the second conversation I love to have with people. Goodnews Of the Kingdom: Good, Bad, Give, Go Now the third one is the good news of the Kingdom of God, and the way we train people to do this is by following a framework that I call Good Bad Give Go. It’s God is good. He created everything. When he looked at it, it was good. If you look around, somehow it became bad. How did it become bad? Shared the story about how people decided to walk away from God’s ways. Because of that, all those bad games on the planet, Jesus came to show us how good the Father is. He dealt with this bad by dying on the cross, raising from the dead. Because of that, He can now send us the Holy Spirit. When we’re filled with Him, He sends us to go and make the world right again like it was good in the beginning – Good Bad Give Go.  So, that’s the process that we follow that we like to teach in the story evangelism process, the practical steps for evangelism. You just go along this pathway. You got your miracle story. You have your Who Is Jesus To You. You have your Good Bad Give Go.  7 Stories of Hope But what happens if they say no? That happens quite a bit. Sometimes people will say no to wanting to be a part of God’s family, unfortunately. I wish everyone would say yes, but it’s just not true. So what do you do when they say no? Man, did you know that 61% of people who aren’t following Jesus said that they would be willing to study the Bible with a friend or family member if they asked them. Ain’t that crazy? Man, that is a huge opportunity for you. So if you want some practical steps for evangelism, basically 1 out of 2 people that you love would study the Bible with you if you ask them. So, we have a process that we call 7 Miracle Stories. It’s how you can use miracle stories from the Book of John to do Bible studies with people who don’t know Jesus. We give you the question to ask. We give you the verses to use. At the end, you give them another opportunity. If they say no again, say, “Man, let’s get back together again.” There’s seven miracle stories in the Book of John. So we have seven opportunities to sit down and meet with people to talk with them about Jesus. Share a story of a miracle. Talk with people, see how they’re doing, use these miracle stories to show people how good the Father is so they want to come back to the Father. That’s all purpose of evangelism, is to get people back to the Father.  So again, practical steps for evangelism – you use your miracle story, you use your Who Is Jesus To You conversation, use good bad good go, and use these miracle stories, the stories of hope to use as a way to show the world how good the Father is so that they want to come back to the Father by submitting to his Son, King Jesus. Man, can I get an amen? Man, if you want to go more in-depth in this, again, go check out storyevangelism.com. You go more in-depth in each one of the processes, each one of the stories, and I give you a framework so that you can learn it. You can go and train others to do the same. It’s a simple process that you can quickly multiply in other people. All right, all right, all right. See you guys in the next one.

Massification – How To Transition From Mass Evangelism To Mass Multiplication
Massification by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/Massification.mp3 Today, we’re going to talk about a concept that I call “Massification”. What is massification? Massification is a word that basically means “mass multiplication”. Now, if you guys didn’t know, for many years, I mean, pretty much for over a decade, probably, I traveled all over the world with a group called Team Extreme and we would break bricks and tear phone books and bend metal bars in our teeth and tell people how good God is. We did it in stadiums around the world and had an opportunity to minister to thousands of thousands of people in stadiums, in pretty much every continent except for Antarctica.  It was a great opportunity. It was a great place to learn about preaching the gospel. A lot of the trainings and the concepts that you’ll learn through this channel, I practiced or experimented quite a bit while I was doing a lot of this stuff, because when you’re ministering to that many people all throughout the year, we were on the road probably about 220 days out of the year, you get an opportunity to preach and pray for a lot of people and see people get set free from demonic oppression and all that stuff. Now, after I’d been doing it for a few years, the mass evangelism, God called me to go and work with discipleship training schools with why YWAM. I went from the mass evangelism aspect to it. Catching a lot of fish is a mass evangelism. The discipleship training schools with YWAM was basically about cleaning the fish and having to work with people and get them to start following Jesus.  Mass evangelism was about leading thousands of people to Jesus. Discipleship was about getting these people that have said yes to Jesus to go and do the things that God has called them to do. It’s totally different. I mean, mass evangelism was fun. You get up there, you share your story about Jesus, you preach the gospel, you heal the sick and cast out demons. I mean, it’s a lot of fun. Sitting with someone and trying to get them to walk through the issues and start following God, it’s a little bit of work. You know what I mean? So, that’s why I think there’s different fields, right? We talked about the four fields. The first field is you figure out which field God has called you to go and minister to. And then the next field is about planting seeds of the gospel, the seeds of the kingdom. And then the third field is about helping the seeds grow, and the fourth field is gathering them into churches. And then right in the center, if you listened to our 4 Fields training, it’s about multiplying goers and growers and gatherers.  Now, I realized that if you look at Matthew 10 and Luke 10, the thing that Jesus focuses their attention on, right from the beginning, He says: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers.” If you read the stories of Matthew 10 and Luke 10, Jesus has his workers with him, right? The 12 and the 72. Yes, his workers are with him. He says, “Look, the harvest is plentiful.” Meaning there’s tons of people who are going to get saved.  What’s few, what’s lacking is workers. So He sends them with these marching orders to find and raise up workers. Now, the workers for the harvest are going to come from the harvest because He had all of His workers with Him. So the marching orders that He gives them in Matthew 10 and Luke 10 is how to go and find and raise workers. Now, if you read my book Kingdom 24902, there’s an entire section just on this thing – how can we do Luke 10 and go and raise up workers in the harvest for the harvest? Now, I started to think about this from a mass evangelism standpoint because mass evangelism is like the sower that is throwing seeds. Now, if you know the Parable of the Sower and the Seed, it says, the sower, the farmer goes out. In the parable, he’s like throwing seed everywhere. Some goes on the path, some goes in rocky soil, some goes in soil that has weeds in it, some goes in good soil. There’s these four soils.  Now, if you listen to what Jesus says that the parable is actually about, He says, three out of the four soils actually are believers that say yes to Jesus. I realized, man, this is what mass evangelism is, right? You hear all these statistics that only a percentage of people who raised their hands in mass evangelism campaigns will actually start to follow Jesus. And I realized, man, that is the Parable of the Sower, because three of the soils, Jesus said, “These are those who hear the message of the kingdom and they believe.” So they’re believers. They raise their hand and say “Yeah, I want to follow Jesus.” But only one of the soil produces fruit.  If you remember from some of the previous episodes, trees produce fruit so they can multiply, which tells me a small percentage of people who believe will say, “I’m going to go and I’m going to multiply what God did in my life and others around me.” I said, “How can we start to massify finding workers? How can we quickly discover workers so that we can send them out to do work?” And I realized this: When we’re doing mass evangelism, we’re throwing seeds everywhere. We haven’t developed a system to find workers from those who raise their hand and say yes.  So this is what I started to do. First of all, when I’m preaching the gospel, instead of saying, “If you would like to go to heaven when you die, raise your hand,” I don’t do that. This is what I say when I want to lead people to Jesus. I say, “Hey, would you like to be a part of a family that’s going to make the world right again?”  Two parts of that question: (1) The purpose of evangelism is get people back to the Father. They’re saying yes to be in a member of a family. So they’re not just saving their skin to go to heaven when they die. They’re saying yes to be a part of a family. (2) Would you like to be a part of a family that’s going to go and make the world right again? They’re getting a mission from the beginning. They’re not just going to heaven so they can check off the mark, “Yeah, I prayed a prayer, so now I’m good.” They’re saying, “I’m going to be a member of a family that has a family mission.” That mission is to go and make the world right again. So, that’s what I asked in the beginning.  Everyone who says yes, I say this after it: “Tell me the names of five of your friends or family who need to hear about what God just did in your life.” And I sit there and I wait for him to tell me, “Oh John and Susie and Carol and Jim Bob down the road.” I wait until they tell me five names and I say, “Out of those five people, who are you going to tell tonight about what God did in your life before you go to bed?” And I wait. “I think I’ll call Jim. I’m going to tell Jim what God did in my life tonight.” In mass evangelism, we would have these follow-up cards. The follow-up cards had their name, their phone number, their email, the church that they went to. We had all these things that you would fill out so that you can do follow-up. I think you need two things on that card for follow-up to start the discipleship process. You need their name, their phone number that you can text message them at, and then you need to know the name of the person that they said they’re going to go share their story with. That’s it.  The next day, you call them, text message them, call them, whatever. You say, “Hey, how did it go sharing your story with?” And you look in your follow-up card and you say, “How’d you go sharing your story with Jim Bob last night?” What I think is probably, 8 out of 10 will say, “Oh, I haven’t done it yet.” Good, we found out that they’re not workers. Now I wouldn’t give up on them. I still take them through the discipleship process, trying to get them to follow and obey the things that Jesus said to do. They’re not workers.  1 out of 10 will probably say, “Yeah, it went pretty good. I told them my story, blah, blah, blah.” Great. I think probably 1 out of 10 will say, “Man, I went and shared with him. I shared with all the other four people on my list, and I went and found 20 other people that I could tell my story with Jesus.” Boom. You just found yourself a worker.  If you go in and read that section in Kingdom 24902 you realize that Jesus says, “Once you find that, that worker, that house, you focus on them and you pour into them because they’re the ones that are going to take the thing that God put inside of them and multiply at 30, 60, 100 fold of what Jesus says. So you don’t give up on the other nine, but you realize that the whole point of the massification that you’re doing, the mass evangelism, spreading seeds to as many people as possible, everyone needs to hear the good news of the kingdom. But I know that as I’m spreading seed, my goal is to find workers. And once you find a worker, you pour into them because what happens is like the Gadarene demoniac. He says yes to Jesus. Get set free from a legion of demons. Jesus sends them out to share his story to the Decapolis, which is 10 cities (deca: ten; polis: cities). He sends them out and that dude reaches 10 cities. The next time Jesus comes to the capitalist, people run from all over to come and meet Jesus. Why? Jesus found a worker and the worker went and did the work. Can I get an amen?  Massification is about spreading seed, seeing who says yes to Jesus, and then discovering the workers from those who said yes. massification, mass multiplication.

What Is The Gospel?
What Is The Gospel? by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/WhatIsTheGospel.mp3 Today, we’re going to answer the question: What is the gospel? The gospel. Did you know that the word ‘gospel’ literally means good news? So when you’re saying, “What is the gospel?” You’re saying, “What is the good news?” So the next question you’re going to ask yourself is, “Good news about what?” What is it that you want news about? What is the good news that you’re proclaiming?  Now, if you think about Jesus, he specifically said, “The good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the earth.” So, the good news, the gospel is good news about a kingdom. Whose kingdom is it that we want to be proclaiming? Whose kingdom is it that something happened that was so good the world needs to know about it? It’s the kingdom of God, right? It’s the kingdom of heaven.  Now, I traveled around the world for many years and preached in front of hundreds of thousands of people, and I started to pay attention to the gospel that my friends and I were preaching and asking the question: Is this good news of the kingdom? What I realized is, most of the time, what we were preaching, we never even mentioned the kingdom. We mentioned that you’re a sinner and that because you’re a sinner, there’s going to be consequences for your sin. And if you don’t ask God for forgiveness, you’re going to be damn to help. That is a part of the gospel. That’s a part of the good news, of the keynotes or this bad news. But man, I said, “Where’s the kingdom? Where’s the kingdom in our message? Where is the good news about a King and a kingdom?” Because, what we were doing, we were giving people advice on how to get to heaven when they die. If you do a word search in the Bible and type in, ‘go to heaven’ or ‘go to heaven when you die’, guess what? You won’t find it. That term is not in the Bible anywhere, ‘go to heaven when you die’ is not in the Bible anywhere. Jesus says, “When you’re praying, you need to pray like this: “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” So, we’ve been trying to get people to heaven when Jesus is trying to get heaven to earth. We’ve been trying to get people up when Jesus is trying to get something to come down.  So, what is the gospel? The gospel is good news about a King and a kingdom. The nature of news is, news is not advice. News is about something that happened, and this news just happened to change the world. It happened to change everything. It changed the course of history. I mean, that’s how good news this news is. Now, my best friend, he grew up in Holland. And one day, he started to talk to me about the good things of Holland. Holland is a kingdom. And at the time when he was telling me this, it was run by a queen. The kingdom of Holland was run by a queen. And so he says, “You know what’s so good about Holland? He says, “Our queen, she pays for all of our education.” So if you want to go to school, our queen will pay for it. He says “You know what else is good about Holland?” He says, “If you lose your job, our queen will pay 60% of your wages until you can get a job again.” He says, “You know what else is so good about our queen? She pays for your health care to make sure that you’re healthy.” He’s named off a number of things that he said made Holland great.  Now, what is he preaching? He’s preaching the good news of the kingdom of Holland. Now, are there any benefits to being a citizen of the kingdom of God? I’d say, yes, there is. We need to be sharing news with others about what’s so good about the kingdom of heaven. What’s so good? Are there any benefits? They need to know that something happened that changed everything and you could be a citizen of this kingdom. You just have to bow down before the King of this kingdom and say He is Lord and believe that Jesus is raised from the dead. Now, second thing, I was reading a story about Julius Caesar. So, some people rose up and Julius Caesar’s [06:26 inaudible] and they killed him. Et tu, Brute? I just remembered that from history in school. But a couple of guys rose up, Octavian and Mark Anthony, and they wanted to avenge the death of Julius Caesar. And so they went and they took out the guys who assassinated Julius Caesar.  Now, the only problem is, then Octavian and Mark Anthony, they began to fight amongst each other. They wanted to see who’s going to be in charge. They wanted to know who’s going to be the man, who is going to be in charge of everything, who’s going to take over this kingdom. For 13 years, there was a civil war, a fighting between Octavian and Mark Anthony.  If you were in the political arena and you were back in the capital Rome, the Roman Empire, everyone was jockeying for position. Everyone’s trying to be in the right team, on the right side. The fighting was happening way far away, but everyone knew that whoever wins this is going to rule the empire. So everyone is messing around, trying to get jockeying for power and everything.  Then one day, Octavian beats Anthony. Anthony and Cleopatra, they go back. They end up committing suicide. News begins to travel around through the empire, “Octavian won.” It began to be called good news. There was good news that Octavian had won the battle, and now we have a new King.  Now, the battle happened way far away. Let’s say, you’re a citizen and you were on the side of Octavian, and you can wait for him to get back because you know that when he gets back, he’s going to reward you for being on his side. Now, the supporters of Mark Anthony, they had something totally different that they were thinking, because Octavian who became Caesar Augustus, he’s going to come back and he’s going to clean up shop. He’s going to reward the people who were on his side, but he’s going to punish the people that supported his opponent. And that’s the nature of news. Something happened. So news begins to spread. The good news that Octavian had won spreads through the empire, the kingdom. It happened. It took him two years to get from the last final battle. It took him two years to finally get back to the capital city and officially set up his kingdom.  But if you’re a citizen in Rome, you know that everything has changed. Something happened in the past that once you finally get back here, it’ll change everything in the future. And so you live a different life now according to what happened in the past because you know what will happen in the future.  The people who supported his opponent, for example, Herod. Herod was a supporter of Mark Anthony. And so he started to say, “Oh man, what is going to happen once he comes back? I need to do something about this.” And so he concocted this story where once Octavian got back, he went and he said, “Man, I know I supported Mark Anthony, but don’t ask yourself who I was supporting.” He said, “Ask yourself how loyal of a friend I was because that’s what I’m going to be here.” That’s basically what he said. And so Octavian reinstated him as the King of the Jewish people. That’s why he was a ruler whenever Jesus came along. It was because he had to go and fall at the mercy of Octavian, and Octavian rose him up and let him be the leader. So what does this have to do with the gospel of the kingdom? People weren’t going around Rome saying, “I’m going to ask you three questions to see if you were a supporter of Octavian or not. And if you’re not, you’re going to be punished once he gets here. If you were his supporter, you’ll be rewarded later. In fact, you can go and live in his castle.” That’s not what the good news was like. The good news of Octavian winning was the message. Octavian has won. I know there’s been a 13-year civil war. It’s done. Octavian has won. Everything has changed. We got a new King and he’s going to change everything and it’s going to be glorious. So, the kingdom, the gospel, the good news of the kingdom of God is like that. It’s news. It’s not just advice on how you can go and live in God’s castle. It’s news that Jesus has won the cosmic battle and he is the King of the world. He’s the King of the universe. He showed this because he loved us enough to die in our place. He won the battle by becoming a laid down servant. He took a penalty on the cross. He laid down his life to show us what love was like. And they said, “Jesus, why should we follow you and not follow other people? How do we really know that you are the King? You really are the Messiah.” He said, “Look, Jonah went into the belly of the fish. In the same way, kill me. I’ll come back three days later.” And he said, “That’s how you’ll know that I am who I said I am. That’s how you’ll know that I am the way, the truth, and the life.” And so, Jesus went into this cosmic battle where he laid down his life, but not even God’s greatest enemy, which was death could hold him down. He rose from the dead and he won the battle that has changed everything. And because of that, we need to lay down our lives and fall at the mercy of God and say, “God, I am on your side. I will be a loyal friend, a loyal servant. I lay down my life. You are Lord. You’re King of my life. You’re King of my family’s life. You’re King of everything. And I submit my life to you. You’re alive and I believe in You and Your kingdom, and I want to be a part of it.” That’s what the gospel is. Now, these are concepts. So, whenever I’m training people to share the gospel, I do it in a framework I called Good, Bad, Give, Go. I teach a framework that you can learn from using these three circles with Good, Bad, Give, Go. Again, if you go over to storyevangelism.com, I go into depth and I give you the words and the frameworks so you can share the gospel real quickly. It just takes you less than a minute to share the good news of what Jesus has done and how people can be a part of his family that’s going to go and make the world right again.  So, if you want to learn practical steps on how to do it, storyevangelism.com will show you the framework and will give you the little details to make our work.  So again, the gospel is a good news of the kingdom. We have a King who laid down his life. He rose from the dead. He sent us his spirit so we could do exactly the things that he called us to do. Live like Him, demonstrate how great His kingdom is.

3 Ways To Share The Gospel
3 Ways To Share The Gospel by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/3WaysToShareTheGospel.mp3 Today, we’re talking about three different ways to share the gospel. I started to think through this evangelism thing. There’s all kinds of different ways to share the gospel. And it’s almost, I mean, in an infinite amount of ways to share the gospel. I mean, I know everything from feeding the hungry, making burritos for people, making cookies to going on the streets, and using signs, and filling stadiums. I mean, the list is endless when it comes to the different ways to share the gospel.  So I started to think through this, and I think there’s three main categories of ways to share the gospel. Now, it also happens to be 3Ps. come on. PPP.  So the first, one – Practical. There’s practical ways of serving people. So, feeding the hungry, getting clean water to people. I mean, I remember a story of a friend of mine. They know how to make these simple water filters out of locally sourced materials. So they went to a village and they taught them how to make these water filters. When they came back the next time, the leader of the village said, “Listen, before you taught us how to do these water filters, every single person in my village was sick. After you taught us how to do the water filters, we all got healed.” So something very practical served a village. And then they were able to bring in the gospel after that. I remember we were in a Pygmy Village in Burundi Africa, and we brought a group of doctors to do free medical clinics for this Pygmy Village, and the only believer in the area was the chief. So we served them by doing free medical clinics, and we coupled it with the other forms of evangelism that I’d talk about. When we shared the good news of the kingdom of God, I watched this pretty much every single person in that village says, “I’m going to follow Jesus. Jesus will be the King of my life.” So, practical serving of people leads the ways to proclaim the good news of the kingdom.  Now, the second type or second way of doing evangelism is what I call Presentation Evangelism. So, this would be someone like Billy Graham or I used to travel with a group called Team Extreme, and we would put on shows and events and stadiums around the world and we would proclaim and present the gospel. Billy Graham would gather people in stadiums and he would proclaim the gospel. It was all of the proclamation, the presentation of the good news of the kingdom, and a very effective way to share the gospel with many people. Now, the third way to share the gospel is what I call Power Evangelism. Power Evangelism is when you couple the presentation of the gospel with the demonstration of the power of God. So Jesus said this, he said, “These signs will follow those who believe. They’re going to cast out demons and they’re going to heal the sick.” Matthew 10, he sent them out to cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers. Jesus, over and over and over again, whenever he would send out the disciples to go and preach the gospel, he would say, “Demonstrate the power of God.” Corinthian says: “I pray that your faith might not just rest in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God” 1 Corinthians 4:20: “The kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.” So, power proclamation of the gospel, proclamation with power is a great way. In fact, if you look at the biggest churches in the world, the biggest churches in the world always combine a proclamation of the gospel, which is a presentation, with a demonstration of the gospel, which is a demonstration of the power of God and the kingdom of God. I did a study. It’s one of my main teachings. I do call it Causing a Jesus Epidemic where I looked at every single time in the Bible or in the four gospels in the Book of Acts where it says, “News spread quickly about Jesus or word about him spread quickly.” You know what I realized? Every single time it happens, it’s after God does something supernatural. Jesus heals the sick – news spread about Him everywhere. He raises the dead – news spreads about Him everywhere.  Same thing happened with the apostles. They would do something. Silver and gold, they don’t have. But what I do have, rise up and walk in the name of Jesus. And all of a sudden, boom, news about Jesus spread quickly everywhere.  So, I think the best way to share the gospel is some combination of the three of these, where you’re practically serving people. You’re caring for the poor, the orphan, the widow. There’s no way that people can get saved unless someone shares the good news with them. So it’s a practical presentation of the gospel, and the gospel is good news that people need to hear. It’s an announcement of a kingdom that’s worth everything. And then the power of God, where you’re demonstrating a supernatural power of God, you’re healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead. You’re coupling that with all three.  So I think those are the best ways. And look, how you do that is there’s exponential ways. You can always get creative in how you do one of those three ways. These are just categories. And so you can just go and do it. The best way to do it is a combination of all three. Now, if you want to learn how to practically know what to say when you’re sharing the gospel, go check out Story Evangelism. It’s a simple way, three stories that everyone can do to share the gospel. So, if you want a practical way to share the gospel, go check out Story Evangelism, storyevangelism.com. It’s a simple training. It’ll help you out.

What McDonald’s Taught Me About The Great Commission
What McDonald's Taught Me About The Great Commission by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/WhatMcDonaldsTaughtMeAboutTheGreatCommission.mp3 Today we’re going to talk about what McDonald’s taught me about the Great Commission. I don’t know about you. I was in high school, I needed a job. I actually needed to pay for myself to be able to go to church camp. So I thought, “You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to go to McDonald’s and get me a job at McDonald’s.” I think I was 15 or 16 years old.  You know what I realized about McDonald’s? McDonald’s is like one of the biggest businesses in the world. They are all over the place. One of the reasons that McDonald’s works is because a guy named Ray Kroc, years and years ago, he ran into the McDonald’s brothers who had a hamburger business. Now, they weren’t the best hamburgers in town, but you know what they were really good at doing? getting hamburgers to people quickly. They could just knock out a bunch of burgers and get burgers to people quickly.  Ray Kroc saw this and he thought, “Man, if I could just take the McDonald’s brothers system, I can have McDonald’s going all over the world.” And that’s what he did. I realized Ray Kroc, he died in the eighties, I think he died. And guess what didn’t stop when he died? McDonald’s. Why? Because McDonald’s had so systematized every process in the McDonald’s that Ray Kroc could die and the systems will still work.  So, what in the world does McDonald’s have to do with the Great Commission? This is it. Man, Jesus says that we’re called to disciple nations by teaching them to obey everything he commanded you.  Two questions: (1) Do you know all the things that Jesus commands you to do and, (2) Do you know how to teach someone else how to obey them? Because that’s how we’re going to be able to finish the Great Commission.  So I started to do something. I realized that a lot of what McDonald’s was doing was because there was a power in the systems. Systems make something easily digestible and easily reproducible. So a teenager can run McDonald’s because someone had figured out a system. There was a system for making fries. There was a system for making burgers. There was a system for everything.  What if all the things that Jesus commanded us to do, what if we’re able to build simple reproducible systems around each one of those commands?  Now, this is one of the things that I’ve been devoted my life to for the last 15, 20 years – look at a command of Jesus, ask myself, “How can I obey that? And then finally, how can I teach someone else how to obey it? How can I create a simple reproducible system so that I can teach them the system and they can go and teach it to someone else?” Now, I always feel ridiculous teaching systems. We have a five-step healing model that we teach people where you follow these five steps. This is how you can train someone how to heal the sick. Seven steps to doing Luke 10, reaching entire cities and discipling nations. Seven steps. It always seems a little bit ridiculous, but if you can learn these systems and you can teach it to someone, someone like a child can take that system and go and teach it how to do others.  There’s another training or another video I did. She was then nine years old. I had planted a church and was running a church because she learned a simple system of what a church is and how to run it and how to multiply it. So ask yourself this question: How can you take the things that Jesus commanded us to do? How can you create a system around it so that you could teach others how to do it? Ray Kroc died, McDonald’s didn’t stop – this is what we want to have happened. We want to have people continue to obey and teach others how to obey the things Jesus told us to do, even when we’re dead and long and gone.  So, what are the commands of Jesus? How can you obey them? How can you create simple systems around those so that you can train others and they can take that same training and go and do it themselves?

How To Share The Gospel Online
How To Share The Gospel Online by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/HowToShareTheGospelOnline.mp3 Today, we’re going to talk about three ways that you can share the gospel online. My name is RK from the Commissionary Podcast the Commissionary Show.  How can you begin to reach people all over the world? I remember the very first test. I found that there was a question that hundreds of thousands of people were asking every single year. And that was, “What does God want me to do? What does God want? What does God want me to do with my life?”  So I decided I do search engine optimization. I get websites to the top of Google. I said, “What if I get the number one ranking for ‘What does God want me to do with my life, or what should I do with my life? What does God want?’ And so, I went to work. This was a few years ago. Since then Google changed algorithms, so I lost that ranking. But for quite a while, I had the number one ranking for ‘What does God want me to do with my life?’  And guess what, if I go and look at the analytics that Google gives you and tells you where people came from to watch this video, man, I realized people are coming from Saudi Arabia, from places that missionaries can’t go to to share the good news about Jesus. I had those people coming to me and finding me because of Google and listening to my answer to that question. What an amazing opportunity to share with people by using something like the interweb.  So, how can you share the gospel with someone online? First one, create content. Find the question that people are asking. There’s all kinds of ways. You go to Google and you start typing in questions like ‘What does God?’ and it will give you a list of things that people are asking, or ‘What does God want?’ Or questions about God, you put, ‘What God? Who God? Why God?’ And you see the things that Google just gives you a list of. You can use things like a tool like Keywords Everywhere, and it’ll give you a list of things that people are asking about God. And then you go and create content on it on YouTube. Write blog posts about it. Create podcasts about it. Add posts on Facebook about answering the questions that people are asking. And again, once it starts getting rankings in the top of Google. You can begin to see people reached by just answering people’s questions and posting the content online. Now, again, if you want some resources and you want to learn how to get things to the top of Google, I have an entire course on how to get stuff to the top of Google in the Purpose Concepts monthly training, so that you can do things like this as well.  Now, the second way that you can reach people online with the gospel is by using paid ads. Google, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, they have an ad system where you can actually pay some money to get your content in front of people. So, if I answered the question ‘What does God want to do with my life?’ I can pay Google a certain amount of money and they’ll put my content at the top. So whenever people search that from anywhere in the world, they’ll see mine, and I pay when someone clicks on it.  Now, one of my friends wanted to start to reach people during the COVID captivity pandemic. They shut everyone down. The ministries couldn’t go out. They were in another country. And so I said, “Hey, start using Facebook ads because everyone is at home on their phones now.” In a span of about six weeks, they were able to reach every single cell phone in the country with a message about Jesus by using Facebook ads.  And the cool thing is, since they’re in another country, that’s not like one of the main countries like the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand. Since they’re in like a third world country, way cheaper. It costs about a tenth of what it costs to do ads in those places if you’re trying to reach a third world country.  So, let’s say you want to reach a country that you can’t go on an airplane because you’re shut down in your house or whatever. Man, if they have Facebook there, you can use Facebook and you can create an option to, “Hey, I want to show this message to people in this country.” It’s as simple as that. And then anytime someone views your content, they can go and they can possibly hear the gospel, give their lives to Jesus.  The cool thing too is this all happens while you’re sleeping. You don’t even have to be there. You don’t have to get on an airplane. You don’t have to deal with jet lag. You don’t have to deal with stomach problems because you ate the wrong food. You use these tools like Google and Facebook to go reach them.  Now, the third way that you can go out and reach people for Jesus online, a friend of mine found hashtags that people use that have to do with depression and despair and hating life and all these problems. She searched for those hashtags. So you can go to Instagram and you could search for those hashtags. I don’t know. I can’t remember which term she used, but find hashtags people use when they’re hopeless and search for that on Instagram.  What she would do is whenever she found a post with someone saying that stuff, she would comment on their posts, DM them, and she would begin to share with them, trying to bring hope in a hopeless situation. Super easy, not too hard to do.  You can start reaching people. People are putting their problems out there online. You can minister to people and bring hope where there is no hope. You know what I’m saying?  So those are three ways that you can reach people online. One, create content that people can find on YouTube and Google. Use paid ads like Facebook or YouTube or Google ads or Instagram ads. Finally, use hashtags and go bring hope where there’s no hope. Alright, guys. Again, if you want to see an in-depth training on this, go to Purpose Concepts Monthly. How To Share The Gospel In 5 Minutes Or Less
How To Share The Gospel In 5 Minutes Of Less by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/HowToShareTheGospelIn5Minutes.mp3 Hey, today, we’re going to talk about how to share the gospel in five minutes or less. My name is RK Castillo with the Commissionary Podcast.  Now, the gospel in five minutes, believe it or not, if you go look at the Story Evangelism Framework, which I created at storyevangelism.com, there’s different ways to start a conversation with people about Jesus. 1. 2 Phrase 2 Now, the easiest way, I call it your 2phrase2. And when we do the training, it’s actually how to talk to someone about Jesus in 15 seconds.  Now, imagine this. Jesus and the disciples go in across the lake, a huge storm comes up where the disciples, who were fishermen, they all think they’re going to die on the lake. Jesus is sleeping on the boat. He wakes up. They get to the other side. As soon as they get to the other side of the lake, this crazy demonized guy runs out from the caves. I’ve seen guys like this in India and Africa and stuff.  Their clothes are shredded, their hairs, all full of doo-doo, all kinds of stuff. Maybe it’s not doo-doo, but it’s at least mud, right? Imagine this guy running at Jesus, the Son of God, the disciples in the boat going, “Why did we come over here? What’s the purpose of us being here?” You got crazy guys running out of caves at Jesus. Jesus cast the demons out of this guy. This guy had a legion of demons, which is thousands of thousands.  I remember watching a video, and the Roman army is marching a legion up into the city. I remember thinking, “Man, that’s a whole lot of people.” So imagine if this guy had a legion of demons, tons of demons, I mean, he’s living in caves. He would break the chains that people would chain them up with. Jesus cast the demons out of this guy. They clothed them, which means before you got the demons cast out, he was like the crazy, naked dude, right?  He’s clothed in his right mind. It says the people from his area, when they saw him, he says they saw him and they were afraid. So they were afraid of him before when he was the crazy guy in the caves, with doo-doo in his hair. He gets set free by Jesus, and they’re still afraid of him, right?  And so, imagine this scene. They come up to Jesus and they say, “Jesus, do you think I can go with you?” He says, “Jesus, can I join your discipleship movement?” You guys remember what Jesus says? I think we do this so differently nowadays, because nowadays, we’d put this guy through 5-10 years of counseling. We’d make sure he goes through all the discipleship groups and the training groups, and he proves himself before we let him do what Jesus told him to.  Do you guys remember what Jesus said to do? He says, “No, you can’t come with me.” He goes, “I want you to go and tell your people everything I’ve done for you.” How long has this guy been saved for? He’s been saved for like five minutes. He just got set free of his demons, got some clothes on, right? You know what’s amazing? The area that Jesus went to where this guy was at is called the ‘decapolis’ (deka – ten; polis – cities). It’s an area of ten cities. Jesus leaves and he sends his person a peace, his missionary out. This guy hadn’t been through Bible school. We don’t even know if he’s had proper training. You know what he has? His story of one encounter with Jesus. That was it. He had his one story. Next time Jesus comes to the capitalist, it says people ran from all over. So from all these ten cities, people came to meet with Jesus. Do you know why? it was because his person of peace that he found that ran out from the caves had one story. He went out and he shared probably with everyone that he can meet – the story of how Jesus set him free.  So, if that guy could go and reach ten cities, I mean, what could you do? If you have one story of an encounter with Jesus, you could use it. If you do 2phrase2, it takes you 15 seconds to share your Jesus story with someone. If you have more time, you can take more time, right? So, how to share the gospel in five minutes or less? Start with your story of how Jesus transformed your life.  2. Who Is Jesus To You Story The second story in the Story Evangelism Framework is Who Is Jesus To You story? I realized that if I was to be taken to court for witnessing a crime of some sort, I would go to share a story of a thing that I saw, I heard, and I experienced. It was something personal that I need to go and testify of.  Jesus asked his followers, “Who do people say that I am?” And then they look right at him and say, “Yeah. Who do you say I am?” So your testimony is not just how you got saved. That’s your history. Your testimony is what have you seen and heard and experienced about Jesus that you could share with others?  Now, Jesus is not just a religious figure. He’s not just a guy who did something 2000 years ago. He’s a God who did something 2000 years ago that changed everything forever in history and he’s your friend and he’s a part of your family. You can share your story of who Jesus is to you and use that as your story in it.  Again, it takes less than five minutes. You talk about who Jesus is to you. It’s one of my favorite things to sit in the gym and say, “Man, can I tell you what Jesus is like?” and tell them who Jesus is to me as a person, not just as someone who did something 2000 years ago, but my friend that I know who’s a part of my life every single day. 3. Three Circles The third way that you could share the gospel in five minutes or less is by using a tool that I call the Three Circles. Now, if you go through the Story Evangelism Training, I talk about there’s two forgotten parts of the gospel that I think most people leave out. It’s the gospel. Gospel means good news. So it’s the good news of something specific. So the gospel is not just how people get to heaven when they die. The gospel is good news of what? Of the kingdom. The kingdom of who? The kingdom of God.  So if we’re going to share the gospel with people, we need to be talking about a King in his kingdom because that’s what the Bible says. The gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole earth and then the end will come, right? So the gospel is not just how do you get saved so you can go to heaven when you die. Did you know that the words ‘go to heaven when you die’ aren’t anywhere in the Bible? Isn’t that crazy? You know the one thing that God said? He said, “Pray your kingdom come.” Where? “On earth as it is in heaven.” So we’ve been trying to get people from earth to heaven when God’s trying to get heaven to earth. The way we do that is by preaching the good news of the kingdom. They get filled with the Holy Spirit. They begin to live the life that Jesus did.  So, the tool is the Three Circles. Now, I see the three circles in a framework that I call Good Bad Give Go. Again, if you want to get the full training, go to storyevangelism.com. You can pick it up there. But everything was good. When God created he saw that it was good. Then it became bad. What happened? What did God do to destroy and get rid of the bad? Man, that’s what the good news of the kingdom is. Now, there’s one part of the gospel that I think a lot of people leave out, right? We’ve made the gospel about how you can get saved and so you don’t go to hell when you die. The gospel is so much more than that. The gospel is the good news of the kingdom.  So, Good Bad Give and then the fourth part of the gospel is Go, which means at the end of the gospel, like the gathering demoniac. They say yes to Jesus. They get sent on a mission immediately. And the mission is get out there and do something. And so, if you listen to the Luke 10 Evangelism talk, I say there’s seven parts of doing evangelism the way Jesus said. The last one is teaching sin. You send them out to go and do the things that God called them to do because we need to find workers. We need to find the person of peace, the house of peace that will become the workers in the city. So we can find people like the gathering demoniac and they can go and reach ten cities when you’re gone. Okay.  So again, how do you preach the gospel in five minutes or less? Your 2 Phrase 2 takes 15 seconds. Your Who Is Jesus To You is a conversation about who Jesus is as a person. Finally, Good Bad Give Go using the Three Circles. Those are the ways that you can easily preach the gospel in five minutes or less.

Luke 10 Evangelism
Luke 10 Evangelism by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/Luke10Evangelism.mp3 Hey, today, we’re going to talk about Luke 10 Evangelism and how a group in India baptized a million people in a year. My name is RK Castillo. I was going to India and a friend of mine got a chance to go and sit down with a group in India. They felt challenged by God to give God a million baptisms on the day of Pentecost. That’s a God-sized dream. 3000 people were baptized on the day of Pentecost. They said, “Let’s go for a million.” Basically, they were able to do it.  So a friend of mine was going to go and spend time with the leader of this church planting movement in India. While he was there, the leader said, “Hey, do you want me to send you one of my 100k guys?” And he’s like, “Yeah, cool. What’s a 100k guy?” He’s like, “Oh, 100k guys is one of my guys that baptized more than a hundred thousand people.” And he’s like, “Yes, sit the guy over.” So this guy came and he spent probably two days with us. Every single time he came out of his room, man, I’m following this dude like Mary’s little lamb. Everywhere he was going, I’m going. I was sitting down with him at the lunch tables, asking him all the questions that I had.  Finally, he goes, “Hey, do you want to do a Bible study?” And I’m like, “Yes.” He says, “This is the foundation for everything we do in our movement.” It was so much a part of their culture that when my friend went to different random house churches in the network, he would go up to the kids and he would say, “Hey, what has God called us to do?” And the kids would say, “Oh, God calls us to do to disciple nations.” And he says, “How do you do that?” “The best way to do it is by doing Luke 10.” And they would explain how to do Luke 10. So, we went up to this guy’s room and we did this Bible study where he went through Luke 10:1-9. We were in verse by verse and looked at it. And that is the foundation of how they were able to baptize a million people in a year. They’re still rapidly multiplying churches. Luke 10 is the foundation of everything to do.  So, what is Luke 10 Evangelism and how do you do it? Now, if you want to go more in-depth in this grab my book Kingdom 24902. I wrote a chapter on what I learned from these guys in the book. The circumference of the world is 24,902 miles, and so Kingdom 24902 is just a way to bring the kingdom of God to the whole earth and finish the great commission. Go pick it up. It’ll take you like half an hour to read it. it’s just for teachings that will help you find your place in God’s plan to disciple nations.  Anyways, Luke 10. I found seven, a framework of seven. It’s like a circle. You go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and then you disciple people to go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. So here’s the seven. You pray. What do you pray for? You pray for workers. You focus. God called you to specific people in a specific place. And one of the specific spheres of influence is mind molders. You go there and you eat with people who don’t know Jesus, that you find a person at peace, you heal the sick, you preach the gospel, and then you teach and you train them to go and do the same. So, those are the seven. Again, pray, focus, go and eat, person and peace, heal the sick, preach the gospel of the kingdom, and then teach and send people to do the same.  So, over the next few episodes of the Commissionary Show, we’re going to go more in-depth into all seven because I do think Luke 10, Jesus sent out 72 people; Matthew 10, Jesus sends out 12 people. But if you look at them basically, side-by-side, he sent them to do the same exact thing every single time, basically, like parallel. They almost go exactly parallel sending two different groups of people on two different outreaches, but he sends them to do the same thing.  So, this is the way Jesus has called us to do evangelism – to reach everyone and disciple all the nations.

The 4 Fields
The 4 Fields by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/The4Fields.mp3 In Purpose Concepts Monthly, which is the training site, I formatted everything around this idea of 4 Fields. Then I realized, well, I haven’t talked a lot to you guys about what the 4 Fields is. So, I think, to finish the Great Commission, we need basically three things. We need to understand the dream of God. The dream of God, I believe, is what the Great Commission is about – the every and the all. But Mark Great Commission says, “Preach the gospel to every single creature, every single person on the planet.” The Matthew Great Commission says, “You need to disciple all the nations.” So it’s the every and the all. That’s the dream of God – the every and the all – every person hearing the gospel, all the nations’ disciple.  Now, when I saw that that’s what God wants, I said, “God, how can we be a part of it? what should we do?” You need to understand the dream of God, and then you need to understand the strategy of God.  I think one of the best strategies for finding your place to finish the Great Commission is the 4 Fields. So, what in the world is the 4 Fields? The first field is the go field. You need to figure out what field God is calling you to and how you were supposed to go and start doing these whatever field God’s calling you to. Now, if you were a farmer, once you found your field, the first thing that you would start to do is you start to work your field. You start to plow the field. You start getting the field ready. So, that’s what that first field is all about – figuring out what field you’re going to go to and getting it ready.  The second field is I call the gospel field. It’s planting seeds of the gospel. Jesus says, “The seed sown is the gospel.” So, what is the gospel? The gospel means good news. It’s the good news of the Kingdom of God being planted in whatever field God is calling you to. The third field is the grow field.  Once you start sharing the good news of the Kingdom and people start saying yes to the King, submitting their life to the King, they have to learn how to grow up as a Kingdom citizen. It’s what we call discipleship. So we’ve got to have some strategy to start to disciple people and raise them up to be what God called them to be.  The fourth field is the gather field. Once you start to disciple people, you need to start gathering them in what I call ekklesias or churches. I like the term ecclesia because when we say church, a lot of people think of a building that you go to on a Sunday, but that was never God’s purpose for the church. The church was supposed to be an influencing agent to transform the culture so they could reach the nations. The 4 Fields is all about gathering. How can you gather and start to multiply? Now, right at the center of these 4 fields, if you can imagine a circle with arrows going up to all four of them, one thing Jesus said to pray for when you’re going out and you’re trying to do the Great Commission, he says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers, if you ask the Lord of the harvest to raise a worker for the harvest.”  So, right at the center is we have this multiplication principle where we’re multiplying the goers and we’re multiplying a gospel source and multiplying growers, and we’re multiplying gatherers. We see the Kingdom got small, like small muscles you need to grow the largest tree in the garden. It starts off like yeast, but it begins to work through all its way through the whole society, because we have these 4 Fields workers going up there and multiplying and finding workers and multiplying what God is doing on the earth. So, you have the dream of God – the every and the all. You have the strategy of God, which is the 4 Fields. I think this is the best framework for finding our place in God’s plan to disciple the nation. But you have a dream, you have a strategy, but then you have to have a daily discipline. So, what in the world is the thing that God calls us to do daily?  What’s really interesting is if you look at the scriptures where Jesus says, “This is what you need to do every single day,” do you know what He says you to do? He says, “When you wake up in the morning, congratulations, it’s not about you.” He says, “Take up your cross daily, deny yourself daily, and follow me.”  So, our daily discipline is to wake up and say, “God, my life isn’t mine. It’s yours. How can I be a part of what You want to do in the nations today? How can I be a part of what You want to do in this neighborhood today?” It’s denying yourself, taking up your cross, following Jesus daily.  So you’ve got the dream, the strategy, and the daily discipline. Those are the three things that I think God is calling us to do so we can be a part of God’s dream, being fulfilled, finished in our generation. Can I get an amen?  So over the next few videos, I’m going to go more in-depth in each one of these fields and show you a way that you can be a part of what God wants to do in the nation. A Grit Story
A Grit Story by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/AGritStory.mp3 Sorry, I’m in a dark car with the light. Facebook live wasn’t working today for some reason.  I wanted to share a story about how grit worked for me. When we first came to Hawaii to start this church where we were working with the homeless, in my mind, I made a commitment to stay here for five years working with the homeless. One of the things that we said we’re going to do is we’re going to come every single week. No matter what, we’re going to bring dinner down. So we decided every Tuesday night, we’re going to bring dinner down for at least five years. Just going to keep going, going, going, going. People would come for the first couple of months. And then after a couple months, people stopped showing up for dinner. So we would show up at our normal dinner spot and no one would be there. So we would just walk down Kalakaua Avenue, finding people who were hungry and eating dinner with them basically. We would just do that week after week after week. We work with a network of churches here in Hawaii called Transform Our World (TOW) Hawaii. We felt as a network that we were called to adopt Waikiki, not just the strip of Waikiki, but the ahupua’a of Waikiki, from the top of the mountain all the way down to the edge of the reef.  One Saturday, all the churches came together and we began to pray all over different strategic sections of the little pizza of Waikiki. That was a Saturday. I remember the next Tuesday after that, nothing different. We didn’t advertise more. We just showed up every Tuesday like we always did.  The next Tuesday after that prayer time, so many people showed up to dinner that we ran out of food in a minute. It was like, we prayed like, okay, let’s go. And it was like, and then the food was just gone. It was just gone instantly. I remember one guy going away with a half of pizza in his head and then we were like, “Well, now we got to change up how we do this.”  And then, I remember the next week after that, we come and the guy says, “Hey, do you think I could pray for the pizza?” I said, “Sure. Pray over the dinner.” He says, “This week I died.” I said, “Oh yeah.” He goes, “Yeah, I’m serious man. I died.” He says, “I died. They were trying to resuscitate me. They gave up and I just woke up.” His friends are like, “Yeah man, you were dead.” He’s like, “So I’d like to pray for the food.” I said, “Yeah, go for it.” Then afterwards, there was a lady just sitting in the corner. I said, “What’s going on with your life?” She says, “I’m trying to figure out what I’m supposed to do with my life.” I said, “Oh yeah, tell me. This is kind of what I do.” She goes, “They said I took so many pills that it should have killed an elephant, but for some reason I didn’t die. So I’m trying to figure out why I’m alive.” I got to sit there and tell her why she’s alive. Now, it’s been almost eight years. It’s eight years in May that we’ve been coming down to Waikiki bringing dinner every single Tuesday night. We only missed one Tuesday night. And that was this last Christmas, because Christmas was Tuesday. Papa John’s wasn’t open and we were out of town. We missed one Tuesday in eight years.  grit is where you decide what you’re going to do and you put your head down and you just do it, do it, do it, and you don’t quit. So, I recommend find something that you feel like you’re supposed to do and commit to doing it for years, not just like a week, not just two weeks, not just a month. Commit to doing it for years.  Tell me what you guys want to be gritty. What you want to be gritty with? What do you want to do? Tell me in the comments down below. All right, guys. What If This Was God’s Love Language?
What If This Was God's Love Language? by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/WhatIfThisWasGodsLoveLanguage.mp3 Hey, I had a question. I was wondering, do you think this could be God’s love language? Man, this is one of those things that just slipped out of my mouth the other day when I was talking with my wife and I’ve been contemplating this. So, this could be either right or wrong, but let me know what you think.  In John 14:15, it says – this is Jesus talking – “If you love me, you’ll keep my command. You’ll obey my command. You’ll take my commands and you’ll think of them as something precious and important.” Man, obedience-based faith instead of knowledge-based faith is what I’m talking about. So, what’s the difference between knowing something and obeying it? Man, we can know all kinds of things about God, about the Bible. But man, that doesn’t mean that we love God by obeying him. The thing is, I think when I talk about the commands of Jesus, first of all, people think about the Ten Commandments. And that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the things that when Jesus was teaching, he says, “Hey, do this or don’t do that.” There’s right about a hundred of them. Those are the things I’m talking about where Jesus said, “Look, if you do these things that I’m telling you to do, it’s one of the ways that you love me.” So, there’s this teaching on The Five Love Languages where everyone has a bucket, and if you speak their love language, you’re filling their bucket with love. So, I’ve been thinking about this: God’s love bucket or one of them, one of God’s love languages is obedience. Now, obedience is not a bad word. But obedience is merely taking the things that Jesus says to do and say, “Man, these are so important. I’m going to love God and honor God by living according to the way he said to live.” Man, that’s some good news. God wants you to love him by obeying what he said to do.  Now, this is one of the reasons I created the Red Letter Devotional. The Red Letter Devotional, I just take the things that Jesus commanded us to do, and I got the scriptures, ask a couple of questions that we get to meditate on those things and figure out how we can obey them. So man, get the Red Letter Devotional. It’ll bless your life.  When we figured out how to love God by obeying him and actually doing the things he said to do, it’s one of the ways we say, “Man, I love you, Jesus.” All right, guys, what do you think? Let me know down below. Get Purpose Concepts Monthly Step by Step Tools & Trainings To Help You Finish The Great Commission Try Today For Just $1 Get Access Now

Be A Caleb
Be A Caleb by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/BeACaleb.mp3 Oh yeah, another video from the chair. I need to start just the segment archaism from the chair.  A few days ago, I’ve listed a bunch of names to remember if you knew any of those guys. They were handpicked, best of the best fighters in Israel. They were like the Spies, the Navy SEALs of the Israelite nation. They went to spy out the Promised Land. When they brought back the news that caused the people to melt in fear, God says, “No one in Israel can go into the Promised Land,” to all these people that are full of fear, have passed away. We can’t take the younger generation into the land except for two guys: Joshua and Caleb.  What I love about Caleb is, later on in his life, he’s 85 years old. This is 45 years later after he went in the Promised Land and said, “My God is bigger than those problems, those giants in the land that everyone is all afraid of. God’s bigger than that.” Forty-five years later, they get into the Promised Land and he says, “Look, I’ve waited 45 years.” He’s 85 years old. He’s an old dude, right? And he says, “I hear the fighting is really hard up in that mountain over there, so that’s the one I want to go to. That’s the one that I’m going for.”  I realized something. For 45 years, this guy stood on a promise that God is big enough to give us the Promise Land. He gets there. If there’s anyone who could have been like, “Oh man, now I can finally retire. I’m old. I’m 85 years old. I can finally go and just rest a little bit. We’ve been in the wilderness for a long time, “no way, man. The dude’s 85 years old and he’s like, “I need to go and go over there because that’s where the fighting is hard and that’s where I want to be.” When I saw that in the Bible, I said, “God, I want to be a Caleb. When I get to be 85 years old, I’m still going after the big things. God, I’m not laying down, not trying to retire and just go and live my day, sitting around in a hammock. I want to go and take down some big giants in the land.”  I realized, I’ve been talking the last few days about, Jesus says, “I brought you glory on this earth by completing finishing the work you’ve given me to do.” So the way you glorify God is not by knowing what you should do, not doing what you should do, but finishing the work that God’s given you to do.  I realized, my job is to find some Calebs and raise him up and work with him. So, 45 years down the line, they’re still going after those big things for God. So, that’s what I want to challenge you with. Be a Caleb. Be In this for the long run and go after big things and fight the good fight of faith. 3 Tips To Finish The Great Commission
Click Here To Jump Into Purpose Concepts 3 Tips To Finish The Great Commission by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/3TipsToFinishTheGreatCommission.mp3 Hey, did you know that finishing the Great Commission isn’t the job of your pastor or the missionary out there in the field?   I know it sounds crazy because we’re so used to hearing that we need to get people to church, and while that is important, I’m going to share three Tips with you today that might revolutionize the way you think about Finishing The Great Commission.   I’m RK and I’ve helped hundreds of thousands of people around the world meet & follow Jesus.   But as I traveled around and ministered to people and I watched people give their lives to Jesus I began to ask the question…   What now?     Jesus said we need to preach to everyone and disciple all the nations.     We’re not just supposed to get decisions we’re supposed to find & multiply workers.   So what is the key to Finishing The Great Commission?   It’s as simple as EFOJ*KP*DGKP*PGK*DNBW=EPR+AND   (Every Follow of Jesus * Knowing Their Purpose * Demonstrating The Kingdom of God With Power * Preaching The Good News Of The Kingdom * Discipling New Believers To Be Workers= Every Person Reached & All Nations Discipled   Right before Jesus left he said to Disciple Nations and Preach The Gospel To All.    So I’m going to share with you 3 Tips to help you Find Your Place In Finishing The Great Commission.   And I know what you’re probably thinking: I don’t know enough…how can I finish the Great Commission?   This method is so simple my kids do this and get amazing results.   So the first Tip is, Find Your Specific Role   The big idea here is In the western world we think it’s the job of the pastor and missionary to finish The Great commission   But in the Bible the ones responsible for doing the ministry, reaching out to people, demonstrating the power of the kingdom of God….   Is the normal people who aren’t “professional” ministers.     Ephesians 4 makes it pretty clear that the job of the professional ministers is to equip the normal everyday people to do the “ministry”    So finishing the Great Commission is 100% the responsibility of the normal everyday believer finding their purpose, their assignment, and going out with Purpose to demonstrate the Greatness of the Kingdom.     The second Tip is the Miraculous.   The Bible says the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.     As you begin to find your purpose, your assignment.  God says he will send you out like Sheep Among Wolves.     Sheep are normally lunch for the wolves but Jesus shares a way to see wolves supernaturally transformed into sheep.     By Demonstrating the Good News Of the Kingdom Through the Supernatural Power of God.    Jesus says “when you enter a town…heal the sick who are there”     In another verse he says “heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers and cast out demons”   In Mark Jesus says there are signs that are following the believers they’re demonstrating the supernatural power of God.     I believe every follower of Jesus can and should see miracles happening in their everyday  lives and it happens as they follow a simple ‘5 Step Healing Model’ that I’ll share with you about in just a little bit.    The third Tip is You Will Be Judged By How Much You Multiply.   During a prayer time, God asked me a question “What’s the Purpose of Fruit?”     I wasn’t smart enough to know so I asked the Google.     The Purpose of Fruit on a tree is so the tree can multiply.  So it can get seeds out to multiply new plants.     Jesus said “You will judge a tree by it’s fruit”     You are a tree but are you trying to multiply?     I think the key to multiplying is Discipling New Believers To Be Workers.    Workers go out and do the kingdom work and plant seeds and multiply the work of the Kingdom in 4 Fields.     Again, I’ll share about the 4 fields soon.      But this is why when Jesus sent out his disciples to do outreach he said basically “Beg me…Beg me to hurl out workers into the harvest”     And so I’ve developed this Purpose Concepts Monthly training course so you can have the tools you need to find your place in God’s plan to finish the Great Commission.    I’ve had the opportunity to travel to all the Continents except for Antarctica and publicly minister to hundreds of thousands.     Recently I’ve moved these same strategies online and we’ve seen entire nations reached with the Good News of Jesus.   But if we’re going to Finish the Great Commission we need as many workers out there as possible, helping people find their place in God’s plan to reach every person and disciple all the nations.     Purpose Concepts Monthly is a compilation of all the workshops and trainings i have put together to help you find your place in God’s plan, equip you with tools to demonstrate his greatness and to multiply workers every where you go.     Every workshop is created to give you a tool that you can learn and then multiply what you’ve discovered into the workers you discover in your sphere of influence, we see the Great Commission happening through 4 Fields.     New Workshops and trainings are being added regularly.     Along with what I call Book Concepts.     I’m a full on nerd.  I love reading and studying.  And I’ve realized a lot of people don’t like to do that.     So what I do is grab the important concepts in books that will help you finish the Great Commission and do a video explaining those concepts to save you time and money.     If you’d like to jump into these workshops and get these Book Concepts you have 2 options:   Option 1 is Monthly or Option 2 is to save money and pay Yearly.     I purposefully made this training affordable so we can help as many people as possible.     Also if you jump in today I’ll throw in a couple extras.    I wrote 2 short books, one on finishing the Great Commission called Kingdom 24902,  The circumference of the earth is 24902 miles.  There’s a simple strategy I learned from a group in India that baptized 1 Million people on the day of Pentecost.  I’d like to give you that book for Free.     There’s another book called Jesus Heals.  I believe it’s every follower of Jesus calling to demonstrate the Goodness of God by healing the sick.  So this is a training on how to Heal the Sick.  And answers the most common questions about healing.     Finally, I realized that one of the greatest opportunities to reach people has opened up to us over the last decade….the interwebs.     Millions of people that are far from God are going onto the interwebs everyday asking questions.     I had a business course where I taught people a step by step process to get websites ranked at the top of the Google.   I would like to give that to you as a Bonus just for jumping into the Purpose Concepts Monthly.     So you’ll get the Great Commission Training.  You’ll get the Book Concepts and on top of that you’ll get the Kingdom 24902 Book, the Jesus Heals Book & Training and the Google Domination training.     I honestly don’t know how much longer we’ll keep this offer open. I mean, I’d like to make this training available to everyone but I want to find workers, multipliers, doers.  If this training isn’t helping people multiply workers and disciples then I’ll take it down.  .   So click the button below to get it today while it’s still available.   I can’t wait to see you on the inside.   Have a great day.

Blessers vs Converters
Blessers vs Converters by RKisms https://purposeconcepts.s3.amazonaws.com/podcast/BlessersVsConverters.mp3 Blessers Vs Converters Boom shaka-laka! What’s up? What’s up? What’s up, everybody?                      Hey man, I was just reading about this, I don’t know, research project, this experiment in Thailand. There were two different groups of business missionaries that went into Thailand. One group, they called the blessers. The other group, they called the converters.                       So, the blessers, their whole goal was to go and serve the community, bless them, and see how they can best serve the community and introduce them to Jesus.  The converters’ primary goal was to just go and convert people.                       So, who do you think actually led more people to Jesus in those two groups – the blessers versus the converters? What do you think? Wife:   Blessers. RK:             What do you think?  Daughter:   Blessers. RK:             It’s probably because they heard me talk about it.  Wife:   Yup. Daughter:   Yup. We totally heard that. It’s not a secret from us.  RK:             The blessers actually led 50 times more people to the Lord in a five-year period. They’re pretty crazy, right? So, we always ask the same three questions every single Sunday at church, every single small group, every single discipleship.  What we do, we say, “Hey, followers of Jesus do three things. They follow, they fish and they train others to fish.”  So, we started to say this at church. We say, “How have you done fishing for Jesus this week?” And we spell fish, B-L-E-S-S, right?  Begin with a prayer for workers.  Listen  Eat Serve  Share So, how well have you went fishing by blessing this week? Let me know down below.
