We talk about Fogg's experiences as a teenage producer in Hollywood, how he dealt with the recent death of his father (and the huge tax bill that was his legacy), and being misinterpreted by reviewers. We also touch on the reaction to Mel Brooks saying comedy is too politically correct, and Owen Benjamin getting banned from a college campus for daring to suggest children should not be pumped with hormones. Plus Nick has been working with Will Smith! Another classic.

#22 Voices in the Dark - Crosscast
Something a little different this week. Nick and Francis guest on a great podcast called Voices in the Dark, hosted by the charming, intelligent, and very physically fit Dre and Jon. #19 Michelle Obama: Man or Myth? - with McNeil and Pamphilon
This week we are joined by top TV stars and creators of the show “Dara O'Briain's Go 8 Bit", McNeil and Pamphilon. We find out why the corporate overloads of mainstream TV changed the name of their hit show from “McNeil and Pamphilon Go 8 Bit” to the far more appealing but syntactically flawed Dara O'Briain version. We also go in depth on retro gaming, freedom of speech, and of course why Michelle Obama is really a man. Top banter with 2 top lads who are technically on TV!

#18 What Happens in Charlottesville...
Nick and Francis catch up to discuss Charlottesville, Venezuela, and of course the Edinburgh comedy awards. Nick invents the term “Apocaleft”, offers his views on Chelsea Handler, and explains why comedy is not subjective. Francis largely refuses to be drawn in, except when it comes to the corruption of the Edinburgh festival, which we expose to a career-ending degree. Next week we return to our guest format, but it was fun to return to our roots, i.e. Nick ranting in an ill-formed, angry manner, and berating Francis at length.

This week we have the awesome US comic Sean Patton, currently blowing up at the Edinburgh Festival with his show “Number One.” Sean reveals his extremely dedicated approach to standup comedy, doing 18,000 gigs a night in New York, while Nick and Francis resent being stuck in the barren wasteland of Brexit Britain. He also explains why the purpose of comedy is not to “smash” the show, and proves that even most talented of American comedians still can’t do a British accent. This was a very fun show with a hilarious comic who is about to become HUGE.
