Paging Dr. Schiavone
On a very special episode of PWW, Tony Schiavone helps Beau work through the seven stages of grief over Bray Wyatt's loss to Goldberg. Not to mention Undertaker beating AJ Styles and the dismantling of Ricochet by Brock Lesnar. By once again leaning on part-timers or stars from the past to promote WrestleMania, has WWE lost its ability to make new stars? Or will Cena and Goldberg's returns mean better things on the horizon for both Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns? Then on a more positive note, AEW Revolution was fantastic, and sure Tony's biased, but he said Hangman & Omega vs. The Young Bucks was the best tag team match he's ever seen. Beau brought up his new personal lord and savior, Orange Cassidy and how surprised he was with his match with PAC. You can watch PWW at ProWrestlingWednesday.com

AEW in Atlanta Was Dynamite!
PWW is comin' at ya with another brand new episode as Beau recalls his trip to State Farm Arena for AEW Dynamtie that Tony Schiavone made happen, as he and Mike from promotions got to sit front row! Tony recapped what it was like being in a building that housed so many WCW memories from 20 years ago. A discussion of AEW's upcoming event Revolution, their new action figures and when Tony's is coming out, not to mention Tony watched some WWE clips on YouTube and discussed them with Beau live! All this, and little else, on this week's PWW! Watch the video at ProWrestlingWednesday.com or facebook.com/929TheGame

PWW is All Elite with MJF
Today was a very special episode of Pro-Wrestling Wednesday as Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc were joined in studio by Maxwell Jacob Friedman, MJF! The "Salt of The Earth" was in town for AEW Dynamite's Atlanta debut at State Farm arena and came by to get some issues off his chest before his bodyguard, Wardlow, faces his former mentor, Cody, inside AEW's first ever Steel Cage match. They talked about his issues with Cody since signing with AEW, whether taking the 10 lashes made him respect him more and what he makes of all the various factions in the AEW locker room. Took some listener questions on the facebook chat and discussed where he saw himself and the company in a few years. Tony and Beau tried to wrap the show talking about their competition, but it quickly went off the rails. Had a lot of fun with this one (Beau got to kiss the ring!), highly recommend checking out the video at 92-9's facebook page or at ProWrestlingWednesday.com.

This is The XFL 2.0!
PWW was back in full effect this past Monday as Beau Le Blanc told Tony Schiavone he is all in on Vince McMahon's latest creation (reinvention?) The XFL! He thouroughly enjoyed watching his hometown Defenders win the first game ever and Tony mocked him for being desperate to buy some merch. Beau segued into a discussion of how some of the XFL's broadcast elements offered a more compelling product and how the NFL (much like the WWE and AEW) might be well served by learning from what they're doing. Wrestlemania 37 is going Hollywood, which is disappointing for those of us that thought Atlanta might be in the mix to host the show of shows. Beau commended AEW, Cody Rhodes and MJF for a killer main event segment that even had Tony acting like a mark. WWE is preparing for their next Saudi show, but don't seem all that thrilled to be promoting it with matches being announced on the sly. Beau's hopeful that Bray Wyatt's match with Goldberg will be a way to get The Fiend over, but Tony was skeptical that his old colleague would go along with a submission loss. AEW comes to Atlanta next weekend, so look for PWW to be live at 11am on Wednesday 11/19 over at facebook.com/929TheGame, you never know who might stop by. You can watch the show at 92-9's facebook page or at ProWrestlingWednesday.com.

Ric Flair Doesn't Eat Hummus!
Tony Schiavone returned to the 92-9 Digital Studio with Beau Le Blanc for another super edition of PWW! Like any proper sports radio station a discussion of the Super Bowl was had and Tony let it be known that if anyone should be in a hummus commercial it should be him, not 16x World Champion Ric Flair! Beau asked Tony what it was like on the Chris Jericho cruise for the Dynamite taping and the peculiarity of  getting fireworks shot off in your face all night. Discussion turned to the WWE with the recent departure of its Co-Presidents (which caused a big drop in WWE's stock) and a reported reduction in house shows mean WWE is feeling the heat of increased competition or is Vince spending too much time on the XFL? Beau recapped Smackdown for Tony and was thouroughly disgusted by the dog food angle. Show closed with a Raw preview and both hosts being squemish over Edge getting con-chair-to'd immediately upon returning. PWW 2020 Royal Rumble Preview
With Tony Schiavone still making his way back from the Chris Jericho Rock 'n Rager at Sea Part Deux, Jon Chuckery joined Beau Le Blanc to breakdown the first stop on the road to Wrestlemania, The Royal Rumble! Will The Fiend walk out with the Universal Championship, will Brock Lesnar's gambit in the Rumble itself pay off? Who's dumb enough to think Shorty G will beat a returning Sheamus? Listen to this episode and find out! You can also watch the show at facebook.com/929thegame and ProWrestlingWednesday.com.

New Year, New PWW
Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc got together for the first episode of PWW of 2020 and had a lot to say about the recent episodes of WWE TV and of course Tony's day job, AEW. First they talked up some sports news and The Rock voicing LSU's national title promo, then the biggest story of the weekend, Tessa Blanchard becoming the first woman to hold a major championship of a televised wrestling company, when she beat Sami Callihan for the Impact World Title. Of course, being 2020, there was twitter controversy going into the match, but still an amazing accomplishment for her, Sami and Impact Wrestling. Beau and Tony are both intrigued by Brock Lesnar entering the Royal Rumble, but Beau was annoyed WWE spoiled the returns of John Morrison and Big Show with the biggest Battle Royale of the year coming up. Tony previewed this week's episode of Dynamite and Dark with some behind the scenes notes on names he's heard bandied about as future AEW competitors. It's A Christmas Miracle!
Happy Holidays, Beau's a new dad and Tony's been a busy bee, so apologies for the hiatus. They recapped some personal business before getting down to THE business. Beau brought up his issues with TLC, and asled the play-by-play man for AEW whether he thought they were good decisions or not. Tony talked upcoming AEW dates and what it's like working on those broadcasts, not to mention AEW's Atlanta debut coming this February. Tony Schiavone Flew Back From AEW and Boy Are His Arms Tired
Been a whirlwind couple of weeks for Tony Schiavone with debut of AEW on TNT, but Beau was happy to have him back and decided to start the show with an homage to the super well received finish of Seth Rollins match with The Fiend from Sunday. (Fun visual for the facebook viewers, check it out at ProWrestlingWednesday.com) But then it was down to business, discussing how Tony's been liking the new gig, some fun road stories about JR and Cody Rhodes and Beau asked him for one of those swanky AEW blazers. At a time when the WWE is facing stiffer competition is it a great time for them to be pulling in part-timers, non-wrestlers and doing wonky finishes? Probably not, but a discussion is had about what they could be thinking with the added attention from FOX and USA. Enjoy all this, and some Redskins bashing, on this week's episode of PWW!

Tony Schiavone is "All Elite"
It was another exciting week in the world of professional wrestling and Beau Le Blanc and Tony Schiavone got back together to break it all down for you. Tony (as you may have heard) is "All Elite" having signed a deal with AEW to work on their TV productions. Beau asked him how all that came about and about his time at Starrcast III in Chicago. Of course a discussion of AEW's "All Out" event and Chris Jericho's big win as the first AEW champion and subsequent search for stolent title belt. When it came to the WWE of course Bayley's heel turn was the biggest story over there, but what does it mean for Charlotte? Also, this will probably be the last time they waste time complaining about the 24/7 Championship. You can also watch the show at ProWrestlingWednesday.com or facebook.com/929TheGame

WWE SummerSlam Recap and Bash at The Beach Memories
Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc reconvened in the Digital Studio for another facebook LIVE edition of PWW. After a brief discourse on hair, greying hair, body hair and blue hair, they got into the nuts and bolts of what went down at SummerSlam. Beau thought the biggest story coming out of the show was the debut of Bray Wyatt's "The Fiend" and the predictable win over Brock Lesnar by Seth Rollins. With SummerSlam in Toronto, Beau joked about how Canada wasn't exactly his idea of a Summer destination, which led Tony to talk about some of his favorite Bash at The Beach memories from his time at WCW. Clearly, WWE's new deal with FOX and USA is causing some anxiety about the brand split, but what can be done to fix it? All that and a recap of Sasha Banks' blue hair, this week, on PWW! 2019 WWE SummerSlam Preview
Tony Schiavone was on the road with the, hotter than an Atlanta summer, Gwinnett Stripers and Beau Le Blanc was back in the studio, where they reconvened on Skype for another edition of PWW! A brief rememberance of Harley Race at the top with Tony telling some old stories and what Ricky Steamboat told us about wrestling him back in the day. Beau brought up the WWE 2K20 Cover with both Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns on the cover, why not just go with Becky by herself? Then it was time for the biggest party of the summer as Tony and Beau fantasy booked SummerSlam 2019! Will Roman solve the mystery of who's trying to kill him and will "The Fiend" end "The Demon?" Find all this out, and more on a snack sized edition of PWW!

You Wouldn't Pin a Pregnant Woman, Would You?
Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc reconvened in the 92-9 Digital Studio to recap all the big news from the wide world of the squared circle. Beau brought up some recent comments from AEW's Cody Rhodes about not seeking to draw "casual fans" and whether it was a solid strategy. Tony was skeptical of reports about the WWE brand split remaining in tact when they jump to FOX and both him and Beau debated how much control Bischoff and Heyman actually have during the shows. As they broke down Raw and Smackdown the re-writes were pretty evident and Tony told some great stories about working on the booking committee with Dusty Rhodes and what advice he gave Darby Allin, that he did not follow. All that and little else, on today's episode of PWW! You can watch the show at ProWrestlingWednesday.com or facebook.com/929TheGame

PWW 069 -- What We Did On Our Summer Vacation
Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc got back from a couple weeks off and after taking a moment to note the show's 2nd Anniversary, they got into all that went down this past weekend with AEW's Fight for The Fallen and WWE's Extreme Rules. They both loved seeing The Club re-united with AJ Styles as US Champion, but is there a chance the WWE is using Gallows and Anderson more with their contracts expiring this fall? Also, Daniel Bryan allegedly had an important announcement on Smackdown, but we didn't get to hear it, when will the WWE stop teasing us and not delivering? All that and some show tunes, this week on PWW!

PWW 068 -- Feuding on Twitter
Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc re-convened for another edition of Pro-Wrestling Wednesday on facebook.com/929TheGame to break down WWE's Stomping Grounds event, and Beau had a lot to crow about as he nailed all of his match predictions from last episode. This prompted Tony to ask if that much predictability was a good or a bad thing and a healthy discussion was had. Talk then turned to WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins' tweets about how WWE is the best wrestling on the planet and that no one is doing it better than them or him. Because it was twitter, people came down on all sides, but Tony and Beau both appreciated Rollins' effort after weeks of people(including former Shield-mate, Jon Moxley) putting down his employer. Then attention turned to this week's WWE TV and while the 24/7 Title will probably always make the list of "Bad Ideas," the excellent in-ring work of Ziggler and Kofi made up for most the bad parts. You can watch the episode at ProWrestlingWednesday.com or at 929TheGame on facebook.

PWW 067 -- WWE Stomping Grounds Preview
Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc returned to the 92-9 Digital Studio for another facebook LIVE edition of PWW breaking down this weekend's Stomping Grounds WWE Live Event. But first they talked the tragedy that was Goldberg and The Undertaker's match at Super Showdown and what it means for the legendary careers of both men. They also hyped up Tony's return to MLW and his upcoming live shows with Conrad in St. Louis and Baltimore. Beau hates the 24/7 Title Belt while Tony hates everything about it, and that's just one of the Bad things they discussed during their Raw and Smackdown Good Idea/Bad Idea segement. You can watch the show at ProWrestlingWednesday.com or facebook.com/929TheGame.

PWW 066 -- What Happens In Vegas
What happened in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas as Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc recap their trip to Sin City for Starrcast and AEW's "Double or Nothing," plus they try to figure out just what the heck the WWE is doing with Super Showdown and Stomping Grounds. You can also watch the show at ProWrestlingWednesday.com.

PWW 065: 2019 Money in The Bank Preview
Tony Schiavone was on the road this week in Buffalo with the Stripers, so it was an old school audio only PWW experience this week. Hot of the heels of the major news that AEW and WarnerMedia's will be bringing Pro-Wrestling back to TNT. Tony, of course, had some feelings about the fine folks at Turner Broadcasting, but a debate on what this means for WWE and Wrestling on the whole was had. Then of course a preview of WWE's latest Live Event, Money in the Bank! Tony and Beau lay out who they think should win the titular suitcases and whether any championships will be changing hands.

PWW 064 -- Do The Ratings Matter Anyway?
Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc got back together on Tres De Mayo for another edition of PWW! Tony talked his time travelling to Vegas for Starrcast preparation and seeing old friends at the Cauliflower Alley Club. While he was there, he attempted to meet Dean Ambrose, it did not go well. Dean, of course, is now free from his WWE contract and released a teaser promoting himself as Jon Moxley. What's a good landing spot for him? Would the WWE have given him a send off if he was immediately signing with a rival promotion? Also, Raw had some bad ratings the other night and a bad day at the stock market, so Beau and Tony batted around ideas as to why that might be and what it might mean for the company going forward. They wrapped it up with reviews of both WWE Raw and Smackdown as the matches for Money in the Bank are being rolled out. You can watch the show at ProWrestlingWednesday.com

PWW 063 -- A Trip To The Firefly Funhouse
Tony Schiavone and Beau Le Blanc were back on 92-9's facebook page for another LIVE edition of PWW and boy are they excited for Bray Wyatt's new character! It's only been one week, but both hosts were happy to see the former "Eater of Worlds" return to WWE with his new deranged children's show host charcater. Beau also brought up the announced match for AEW's "Double or Nothing" between Cody Rhodes and his half-brother Dustin, WWE's Goldust. Tony talked about watching the two young men grow up in the shadow of their father, Dusty Rhodes, and some other things Tony's doing at Starrcast. Money in the Bank is the WWE's next event and they've set the table for some major title matches with AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins and Becky 2 Belts pulling double duty with Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair. All that and nothing else on this week's edition of PWW! You can watch video of the show on facebook.com/929TheGame or ProWrestlingWednesday.com
