-We answer questions submitted by listeners!
-We discuss our recent visit to Five Acres
-One of our biggest takeaways was learning about the focus and mission of Five Acres - "Permanency" and what that truly means to the organization.
Basic definition of permanency from Five Acres: To us, our mission of permanency means that no child grows up without a loving forever family. Permanency can be achieved in three ways: 1) By strengthening families in crisis so that they can remain together; 2) By counseling separated children and their biological parents to help them reunify or; 3) By connecting children with loving foster-adoptive families who go on to permanently adopt them as their own.
