We are slowly getting back to movies in the theaters and the Oscars have snuck up on us. Orrin and Jonathan go through whats going on at the Oscars - were there even enough movies to have enough nominees? We also talk shop on Mortal Kombat and the Legend of Shang Chi and other randomess.

After almost 5 years of waiting, the 4 hour version of the Justice League has been released on HBO max and we break down our thoughts and feelings on the long-awaited version. 

It has been a long time coming, but we are finally getting the Snyder Cut from the Justice League. After a botched initial take by many reshoots and rewrites by Joss Wheedon, Snyder finally gets to release his 4 hour version of the film! We get a lot more of, pretty much everything and it will be awesome! We go through the story, how we got here and what to expect for this possible epic!

As we still await theaters to open, we are starting to get a little bit of movement on the trailer front. This past week they released the new Mortal Kombat trailer as well as the Snyder cut Justice League trailer. There is a lot to unravel with both of those but Orrin and Jonathan give it a shot. Lastly, we muse on Marvel and how they could possibly attack the roll out of Black Widow and the movies that follow. 

In the latest of the HBOMax releases, we bring the precap of Judas and the Black Messiah. This sort-of historical biopic focus on the fast rise of Black Panther Chairman Fred Hampton, the FBI and an informant who infiltrates the notorious group. See how initial thoughts on the movie before it his streaming this Friday, Feb. 12.

This past week HBO Max released its latest in the string of WB straight to streaming movies with The Little Things. Starring Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jerred Leto, this 90s criminal suspense thriller had us on different sides of the fence on this one.

HBO sure is getting a benefit from COVID, after releasing HBO Max, Warner Bros has decided to release its entire 2021 lineup on the streaming service. With movies featuring some of the biggest names in Hollywood, here is the ultimate list of movies to look forward to on HBO Max. 

In a nearly impossible task, Orrin and Jonathan try to put together a top 10 all time for sports movies. It's impossible to actually solidify a top 10 for this topic, but we give it a shot and have a surprising entry at the same spot on both of our lists! See what it is and what comes in at our number ones in this weeks episode!

As there still aren't movies hitting the theaters, we continue our podcast fun by going through a list of actors who turned down roles that ended up being iconic. Would they have been a good replacement? Orrin and Jon go through this and more in this week's episode.

How did so many people miss The Nice Guys?! This 1970s detective movie hilariously couples Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling as private detectives who get caught up in a world of murder, betrayal, government coverup and the porn industry. In one of the more fun movies in recent memories that people missed, its time to jump in and see why The Nice Guys is a go back and watch. 

Santa's naughty and nice list is notorious this time of year, so we thought it would be fun to go through our person naughty (Orrin's) and nice (Jonathan's) list. Orrin took this one about 80% serious which is a big win for Jonathan. Give it a listen and see if there are any surprises on there!

In our most heated episode yet, Jonathan and Orrin list their top 10 favorite Christmas movies. One of us took it seriously, the other one clearly did not. The the grinchness proceed with another top-10. What are your favorite Christmas movies?

Not without controversy, at least from Orrin's side, we test his quote skills once again! He is calling shenanigans but Jonathan thinks he is being a poor loser. What do you think?
