You read that right folks, I spent a wonderful Saturday morning with members of the York City Derby Dames while they practiced at Roll-R-Way in York.  This was a super fun episode to record as I knew of Roller Derby, but not much more than the surface stuff of a lot of incredibly talented girls and guys getting physical on skates.  Hang out through the entire episode and learn all about the sport of derby from the kind team members; Madhouse Mexi, Ruby Wrecker, Johnny Slays (and Brianna), Dap, Devour (team founder), Heather G, Mrs. Garrett and Jessica.   Don’t be a square, go see the Derby Dames in action October 21st at Roll-R-Way (940 Vander Ave, York, PA 17403) at 5 P.M. for a charity co-ed throwdown!

Hey everyone! So this week finally finishes up all the episodes that I had pre-recorded, and I am sincerely happy that it’s an episode recorded with my dear friend Skotty.  Skotty and I met two years ago while I was bed-ridden from general childish behavior while climbing in Maryland after he called me and asked to stop by.  Believe it or not, Skotty started the odd whirlwind obsession I have with recorded media after we talked for hours and I thought it would have been great to start a podcast of my own.  A few iterations later, I finally managed to sit down with him and talk for a while about all things life, and finally got off the kick of Death Match wrestling (though I am sure it will come up again soon).  Follow Skotty on Instagram @mcmasterblaster666 because in or out of a ring, he is a really entertaining human. Hey everyone!  I had an immensely radial time hanging out at my first convention, Monster Mania!  Thanks to some convincing from prior guest Amanda Sheriff Bollinger I did get myself down to the convention and roamed around looking well, not out of place at all.  My sincerest thanks are due to the organizers of Monster Mania who put on a wonderful show, bring in excellent talent such as Rose Mcgowan, Wilford Brimley, Doug Bradley, Dean Cain and Adrienne Barbeau.  I bounced around a few vendors that sincerely caught my eye, but next time I go to Monster Mania in New Jersey I will likely need the entire weekend to get through and see everyone and meet everyone that I would like to.  Seriously, you should too.  Family friendly, and full of fun things to see and do.
