What's going on family!?! A quick Change the Channel today to remember the senseless murder of 17 year old Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. It was on July 13, 2013 that Zimmerman was acquitted and we all were reminded that walking home while black was STILL a crime in America. So today on the 5 year anniversary of this event, I just wanted to briefly touch on the life and times of Zimmerman since. And remember, that at the time of his murder, many referred to young Trayvon as a thug. Geraldo Rivera was famously quoted as saying, "If you dress like a thug, you'll be treated like a thug."
