This week the Polymaths record from New York City at the Creek and the Cave comedy club! Robert Punchur joins us to update his statue conquests, and we share our first adventures in NYC at Times Square and Broadway Comedy Club. This week on a new and exciting episode of Polymath: Dustin sees Casablanca with the accompaniment of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, finally checks out Louie and Kiki's Delivery Service. Polymaths deal with a cold February the best way they know how: procrastinating. This week Brandon gives us the scoop on the 3DS release of Ocarina of Time, and the secret joys of Mii Plaza. Dustin looks a pop punk in a new light when he sees Filmage, a documentary on the band the Descendents. He also goes retro jrpg with the classic Earthbound and the soon to come brawler Gang Beasts. Austin continues his affair with Natalie Wood in the Great Race, and checks out Neil Gaiman's novel Stardust. Kevin chats about his secret crush for Katy Perry, and finally sitting down to enjoy the Netflix Original Series Marco Polo. In the second half we sit down to observe and reflect how the smart phone age has affected our lives, and how our interactions with people have changed in our lifetimes.

This week on Polymath, Austin reflects on finish his long journey through Lord of the Rings, and teaches us about the Elven language. Dustin and Giro Dreams of Sushi, the documentary about… well, Sushi and gives us his thoughts on the new Decemberists album What a Beautiful World, What a Terrible World. Kevin finishes The Beautiful and the Damned, and starts Bob Dylan’s Chronicles, just in time for his new album Shadows in the Night. Brandon previews the new episode of Polymath life and we get into a serious discussion on the importance of the animated film.

This week Dustin goes retro with a nostalgic viewing of UHF starring the incomparable Weird Al Yankovic, and the new "Zelda" game, A Link Between Worlds. Brandon is prepping for the Oscar's by finally getting a round to Grand Budapest Hotel in addition to giving us some starling stats on the Academy. Austin outdoes Duddy in old school with the underdog musical Phantom, and This Property is Condemned, when he gets distracted by Natalie Wood. Finally Kevin pursues his to do list by seeing American Beauty and Inside Llewyn Davis. Dustin and Kevin learn the magic of chops and hallucinogenic drugs when they take a trip to see the film Inherent Vice. Brandon gives a bit of behind the scenes for our new YouTube skit “Two Lumps or Four.” Austin opens the cover on Meaning of Night by Michael Cox. Dustin checks out the PS Plus free game of the month Infamous: First Light, and Kevin reveals his healthy obsession with Gloria Swanson and Sunset Boulevard, and the Hemingway short story “Fathers and Sons.” The whole crew reminisces on their visit from Mike Mains and the Branches.

New Year, same crew, same great time. Little bit of World War II in this week’s episode now that Brandon has become an expert on Alan Turing thanks to the new movie Imitation Game. Austin gets a little dark with the holocaust and the novel The Book Thief. Existentialism comes up with Kevin starting F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Beautiful and the Damned, and Dustin gets real classy with a whiskey tasting in Pittsburgh and a game called The Wolf Among Us. We finish up some old business with the Polymath Christmas Questions, and finally we talk about New Year’s Resolutions: legit? Or not legit? That is the question.​
