We don’t have to walk in the condemnation of our past sins, to the extent of retrieving them back.  We can decide to accept his forgiving grace and walk in our newfound freedom without being trapped in sin’s grip.

I asked him who paid it? The waiter told us that a couple that prefers to remain anonymous paid it. I responded; “But they don’t know us.” The waiter mentioned that the couple are regulars at the restaurant, and they always anonymously do random acts of kindness to different patrons.

It also compelled me to start writing articles and quotes. —

I enjoyed sitting at the feet of my grandfather listening to the stories of how the British colonized Kenya, taking the best of our resources and violating our rights and killing our people. My grandfather taught me that the soul of our community was wounded, and unrecognized pain that is not addressed is passed on to upcoming generations. Healing will start when we acknowledge our historical injustices, and it’s impact and call the courage to discuss our pain, and coming up with healing strategies.

Are you not of more value than they?” You are extremely valuable to God. Do not allow others to devalue you.
